Fried rice was good and teriyaki chicken. But we went there for the Sushi for our anniversary. The Sushi bar is closed and their Google updates mention nothing about that fact. You are known (to me) for your sushi and hibachi, I will not be back spending over 100 dollars again if you don't even have Sushi, you not the only game in town. I'll go to Milwaukee or even Kenosha before I come back to your business without a sushi bar.

DONT PATRONIZE SHOGUN RESTURANT!

Went to have a nice dinner tonight and as the hibachi cook made food for a table of 9 strangers he forgot to cook my steak for my meal🤔 as he was giving out the cooked items my wife questioned “you forgot to cook a steak?” Of course he apologizes and states he would go get another and cook it. I told him the table and my wife would be done by the time my food is complete, and patronizing the resturant is about the experience which i did not get the opportunity to have. I asked if my meal could be removed from the bill? The waiter stated he would just charge me for the bowl of rice and the cooked veg that I received for $15!?

I asked to speak to the manager and he stated, “I should just pay the $15 if I was you.” I again politely asked if I could speak to the manager and he stated he would go talk to the manager. Once he returned and stated I should just pay the bill. I again asked if I could speak to the manager. He returned and stated the owner would not be coming out…. And missing an order is just part of the business😤 we should just pay our bill. Now I’m no longer the friendly smiling Al Days now I’m upset. I tell the waiter that I have worked with the public for over 30 years as a Deputy Chief of Police and with the airlines. Never have I had a manager refuse to speak to a customer whom had an issue with service or lack of service. He just stated “I understand, I’m sorry, but I can’t do anything about it.” Janet stated we will not eat her again and the waiter’s response was “OK”.

So we left and as we left spoke to a young lady at the counter who stated the manager was upstairs and don’t come down for customers???

Es lamentable que un lugar con tan buen prestigio y buena calidad de comida ya no lo sea.
Pedí un steak medium y el cheff lo hizo well done, pedimos 2 cajitas para llevar lo que nos quedó y nos dieron unas de foami súper corrientes las de antes eran más elegantes y no eran de foam. Precio a pagar muy alto para un servicio mediocre.

So they had no sushi at the time of writing but we had the hibachi. They were able to work with me for chicken teriyaki even tho it's technically not on the menu. The soup that came with it wasn't miso but oh so delicious. I know that every hibachi place I've been to always plays the game of catching the piece of veggie with you but it feels forced so I kinda feel bad about them having to do it. Really fun if they get the person to catch it with their mouth tho. The fried rice was amazing and I'm glad I chose that instead of steamed rice to go with the meal.

Unfortunately, there isn't a sushi chef, we had hibachi. I was not impressed with the food at all. The steak was overcooked, the hibachi rice was lacking, the vegetables were okay. For my first time trying this place it was very delicious! We came to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The place was very nice and comfortable! We where able to get seats at one of the grills. The cook was super nice, friendly and funny!

Only complaint I had was the waitress (Mia) we had was in a very bad mood. Like she did not want to take care of us. She took a very long time to come to check on us. We had to wait on refills on are drinks for about 10-15 mins when she was either no where to be found or chatting away with another employee. We also told her it was my boyfriend’s birthday and we where here to celebrate. She replied with oh ok. Seemed as she didn’t really care. We got to see other people get a special happy birthday from the employees. As we thought we would be next it but she never came to our table. She hurried us with our checks at the end.

Overall the food was great and cook was amazing! But the customer service from the waitress (Mia) we had was terrible.. Hopefully if we ever come back we do t get the same customer service or ever get Mia as our waitress.

Been to Shogun twice for 2 family members birthdays. There were 6 of us the first time, 5 people the second time. Both times I ordered the filet mignon & shrimp & egg rolls. First time we had Alfredo as our hibachi chef who gave us a great experience at the grill. He had jokes & tricks, very fun. Cooked our food perfectly! Last night we went for dinner had to wear masks till we got to our table which we definitely weren’t happy about! But it’s not their fault because the city of Racine brought back the dumb mask mandate.
We followed the rules…
Our hibachi chef was Eduardo he cooked our food amazingly as well. But was quiet not many jokes. He had a few cool tricks while cooking our food.
The waitresses are quick & kept our table happy with drinks even before they were empty. We love this restaurant it’s all of our favorite place to have birthday dinners. We will be back!! Thank you for singing happy birthday as well!! Awesome food & fun experience!! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ And I maybe known as a hard to please customer but this restaurant is top notch!! Thanks guys your the best!! I definitely have recommended to my many friends & family members.

Wow. Excellent, delicious, reasonable priced Sushi! Don't be distracted by the exterior of the building. The restaurant is very nice and clean. Great hibachi show and delicious Sushi rolls. Great variety of sushi, and other meals. Very friendly, fast service and great cocktails! Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.
