I've driven by here at least a million times So glad my wife's friend pick this place to go to! Was pretty cool inside the service was really good attentive the menu heard it was bigger but it was still pretty good a lot of good things on the menu! The food however was delicious I took a peek at everybody's food Mom and Dad soup they said was good some of her back in the area we're going to hit this place again!

Easter buffet was not worth $20 we sat at the worst table in the restaurant. Food from the buffet was cold. The only thing that was good was the coffee. Not to mention I would have left the tip but they force you on your bill. Added 18% gratuity I don't know the name of her waitress but she was very nice and also said we were sitting at the worst table in the restaurant and our coffee server was very nice as well. Was not happy with our visit. We got there around 10:30 on Friday morning, with only one other couple in the restaurant. We had 2 children under 5 and 2 adults. We had to wait for someone to come from the back to seat us. Ordered drinks, a large oj and a kids oj and a water. She came with those and took our order, a bacon skillet, eggs Benedict and a kids French toast. 35 minutes later we got our food. Had the shrimp with garlic butter(6) & scallops (4). They were cooked perfectly and came to the table hot. Squash & zucchini lacked flavor. Mother in law had the broiled whitefish, very good. Have always has great food here. This visit wasn't like before. Walked in the bakery side, no one there. A few people at tables. Went to bar area. Server was flustered seeing me. I asked if i take a booth. Yes but

Floor was dirty, looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned in a while. Music is nice, great sound system, but on level 10 is crazy. Luckily it was turned down at some point.

Server was pleasant but unsure of things but worked with that. Ordered soup, appetizer and entrée. Server forgot to put in soup order. Potato w entrée came alone first. Appetizer and entrée came. Entrée was ok. Appetizer was lukewarm n wasn't fresh. Definitely tasted off. I'm sure if you smelled it before cooking you'd be able to tell.

Had to ask where soup was, Server had to order. It came and was so salty it was inedible. The side sauce w the entrée had turned bad n tasted metallic.

I told the Server and had her taste a small serving of soup n she immediate agreed it was terrible. I asked her to ask the cook to taste the soup, side n appetizer. She returned n said the cook rolled his eyes. And nothing else.

I got the check, nothing was said about the meal, and the amount was over $40, for a meal I couldn't finish.

I asked to speak to the manager, who came by and wasn't friendly. I told him all I've said here calmly. He curtly said, I'll check into it. Turned n walked away. I'm still not sure what that means.

Might give them one more chance. we shall see. Disappointed with them for the years of great meals n service I've had there. Guess it is hard to find good help today unfortunately

We went there for a Friday fish fry. I had the Cod but it seemed a little tough. My friend has Shrimp and enjoyed it. I had broasted potatoes and really didn't care for them as they really had no taste. Should have ordered the fries as I know they have good fries. So disappointing!!! We wanted to start 2024 with friends and family drinks and good food. Granted we did have a large group of 14 but everyone was patient and fun loving - read the group no one was in a hurry....our waitress had attitude from the moment we walked in while they were putting tables together the look on her face and "boy you are really putting me out" attitude was unreal.....you think she would have loved the potential tip from this group. Got a delivery order from Shiffs and holy heck was it excellent!!! Can't comment on the building or service since it was a delivery order but the driver was nice and quick and my food git to me fast so that was good! Said food was REALLY good, better than I was expecting! The mower sticks, wings and burger I got was made to my liking perfectly and if I had one complaint about anything it would probably be the fries could have been a little crisper! Aside from that though, Shiff gave me a great delivery order and I'd definitely get from them again if they retained that quality!

Wow has this place gone downhill. Absolutely disgusting from the restaurant itself to the food served. Food all over the floor and seats of the booth we were seated in. Waiting 20 minutes just to place a drink order. Apparently they are not able to properly make an old fashioned anymore either. Ordered a prime rib sandwich but not sure what it actually was. Teenager standing behind the counter playing on his cell phone appeared to be the bus person. The entire floor was covered in food and garbage not to mention many of the seats. This was the most hideous experience I have ever had at a restaurant.

It was our first visit. I love baked French onion soup and eat it frequently. I ordered it here, and it was one of the best bowls I have had. It's really good... The pub burgers were tasty. My wife, who is very particular with food, really liked the open face prime rib served rare. It was such a large serving that she had some to bring home. We stop at Shuff's frequently and they have been struggling a little with getting and retaining seasoned waiter and kitchen staff. Darius was our server today and he was trying his best to keep the orders together. I order a cheeseburger with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion on it. I know he wrote it on the order ticket. When the plate arrived he had to go back to the kitchen to get the missing onion, lettuce and tomato. The 1/2 lb. cheeseburger and sweet potato fries were good. My wife order cheese and chicken quesadillas and it was served with no salsa or sour cream. The cook was struggling, but Darius was good at running back a second time to get the cook to put the remaining items on both our plates. It was a little busy with the bar side restaurant open only and his partner was on the phone a lot taking phone orders I believe. We both know you have to be patient at Shuff's and they can and will eventually deliver a good meal at a reasonable price. We highly recommend the place even as they work hard at trying to get and retain more seasoned staff.

Placed a to-go order for a couple steak sandwiches. Told could pickup in 10 minutes. Picked up order, paid the woman working the computer for it, but just after I pay and am handed the food she asks me if I had called another time earlier. I answer no....she then starts telling me a story that someone called earlier. She had told them to call back 10 minutes later because their computers were down and she claimed the person on the phone chuckled before hanging up which I gather she didn't appreciate....She told me this in a rather passive-aggressive way with a mildly snarky tone like she thought it was me and wanted me to own up.
I guess this bothers me because as soon as I told her it wasn't me that should have been the end of the conversation. Her saying anything more felt like she wanted to vent her problems rather than maintain any professionalism. Also, I must admit I thought it was a bit perplexing that someone who works as a waitress can't bother to write down an order? Like if the computer was going to be down for hours I'd understand, but just 10 minutes?? Anyways, the food I ordered tasted good, but if that is the sort of attitude that the employees exhibit to their customers I'm not interested in returning.
