My family met up here for old-fashioned in fish fry. The old-fashioned did not disappoint. I guess it’s what they’re known for. The fish fry was great very feeling very fast. The sweet potatoes with the honey cinnamon butter was excellent. I would definitely come early and come hungry. It will get busier later in the dinner time our. But it’s definitely worth getting too early.

The Silvercryst Supper Club and Motel were definitely enjoyable for the duration of our stay. Rooms are clean, reasonable, and we'll appointed for any stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our meals were delicious as we enjoyed the Chef's Prime Cut with sweet potatoe fries and the tenderloin and shrimp with rice pilaf. Both meals were cooked wonderfully to order, and were very delicious! The chicken chili was also excellent! We found the bartenders to be delightful and efficient. Be sure to stop in at Silvercryst if you're in the Wautoma area!

The moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the nostalgic charm of this historic supper club. Our friendly and attentive waiter made us feel right at home. The Sunday special—broasted chicken—was clearly a crowd favorite, and for good reason: crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. I have never been disappointed by the meal chosen or service. The restaurant staff has always been very accommodating. The bar area has a low key feel and the drinks are always great. The thing is that I don't quite understand is the supper club description as there is no salad bar or cheese spread or a small veggie snack on the table to share. So I will say it's a delicious place to eat but it really isn't a true supper club. Just my opinion.

The hostess is always the face of the restaurant. In this case we felt immediately unwanted. I asked her 2 questions and the responses were down right unfriendly. She was sweaty and stressed. On to the meal. The breadsticks were stale, the chicken was extremely dried out, and the steak sandwich had to be disassembled and cut with a knife because it was so tough. We felt the waitress was in a hurry to get us in and out. This was the first time our friends experienced this restaurant. They were highly disappointed as well as I. We will not be back.

Went there for Easter dinner... for the 170 we spent between drinks and food.... it wasn't worth it. We had 3 drink each and it was 70 at the bar and there was 2 of us drinking and 2 of us were drinking soda...then we wait forever and we were like okay maybe because it's Easter they are busy... mind u we made reservations weeks before.... so they pull us back almost 30 mins late past our reservation... well we get back there and it's not even packed or full! There are tons of open tables everywhere. Okay whatever... then we get buns in a basket... 4 cold buns that we're literally from the grocerystore. Not even warmed nothing... okay we get passed all that. Then we order our food. For the prices of the food you def don't get much... the brosted chicken was dry as ever. The steaks were good. But u get a super Lil steak even at 12oz and the baked potato that came with it was burned on the bottom and none of their meals are cheap. Except the ayce brosted chicken. The waitress never came to recheck on us. We get done eating what we can she finally brings us our check. I haven't been there in years. This was my first time back and it wasn't anything like I remembered. Also not to mention the building isn't very handicap friendly. My parents have super bad knees and all them stairs just to get into building. And I didn't see a ramp so if u have a wheelchair don't even bother going and wasting ur time. I normally don't give out "bad" reviews because I have worked in customer service for a long time... but the only pleasant part we had was the bartender. She was nice. But everything else wasn't worth it in the end. I could have had all that we ordered bought and cooked at home and it would have been better and cheaper which is what we may have to do now. My dad just wanted to treat us to something nice and special... well I can tell you my parents won't go back and I love eating out and not that they probably are gonna care about my review but I won't be back either. Bur i Will mention it's a beautiful supper club. The location is beautiful. The scenery while you eat is beautiful. The cabins you can sleep in look cute and it's right on a lake. I didn't stay at any cabins or anything so I can't review that. But the location and scenery are a 10/10.

Went there because that's where my grandson wanted to go for his bday,,service was horrible, had to ask the waitress 3x for a steak knife, she never asked how the food was,she obviously wasn't trained to work at a supper club..there were other ppl there with a bday& they were entertained with staff singing, when I asked about that ,we were told that we had to prove his age,hes13!! Last Saturday 2/22 I drove 35 miles to come here for prime rib (yes their Saturday night special) We were seated at 6:05 pm were promptly informed by our waitress that they were out of prime rib! That is ridiculous! So we had to order something else which was a disappointing excuse for a ribeye steak that looked like a sandwich steak! Told the hostess about our disappointment and she said why are telling me I’m not the cook! This place has really went downhill! Use to be an excellent place to eat but no more!

Service was good, the food sucked! I ordered the prime cut ribeye. It came out almost grey looking, no grill marks looked like they boiled it in water, was not very tender and no seasoning what so ever, and for $36 I was really expecting a great steak. The best part was the mushrooms. Even though they charged $7.50 for those! My friend ordered the all you could eat ribs, and he said those were dry and tasted weird.

Been a regular customer, enough that the hostess recognize my girlfriend Renee. We told her a table for 2 and to put Renee on the waiting list. We were told wait time would be about 30 minutes. So as normal, we went to the bar to wait. Ordered drinks and after an hour wait I went up to ask how much longer as we had been waiting an hour. We'll the hostess looked up at me and said Renee you can come up now. I said to her that her tone was very rude and condescending. Her response was, Well that's just how I talk. So the other hostess took us to a table because she wouldn't move. I asked the hostess that took us to the table if she could let the manager or owner know that I would like to talk to them. She looked me, said ok but I'm sure she never said anything to them. At this point I'm sure I will never come there again. It wasn't super busy as I've seen in the past so that isn't the reason for the problems. What a shame to put such disrespectful people as your greeters.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Silver Crest Supper Club in Wautoma, Wisconsin, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The steaks were the true stars of the evening. Each cut was seasoned to absolute perfection, bringing out the rich, savory flavors that only come from top-quality meat and expert preparation.

The tenderloin was simply outstanding—a melt-in-your-mouth cut that was cooked exactly to my liking. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into selecting and preparing this piece of meat. The prime steak was equally impressive, juicy, and bursting with flavor in every bite.

What truly added to the experience was the service. Our server was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Their warm and welcoming attitude added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

We were not welcomed when we arrived. We were told they did not open for another hour so we put our name in for when they opened. At 5:00 we went up to give our name and were rudely told that the girl who supposedly wrote our name down was not the hostess she was. I wanted to turn around and leave. Very rude!!! One amazing supper club! I visited July 10th, a little late for the review I know. I love the decor on the inside. The staff are incredibly nice and professional. Stopped in for dinner tonight(July 16th). Was sat at our table around 5:25pm. First thing I noticed was how slow our server was. Once we put our order in, we waited over 40 minutes for our food, and during this not once did our server stop in for refills or to check in. Then the food came, my mom's top sirloin was so tough it could barely be cut, we did not bring this to the waiters attention because once again he did not stop at the table one time, and we didn't feel like waiting another 40 minutes for a replacement. $100 for 4 people, not even close to worth the price. My Alfredo was okay but not worth $22, far from it. The place was not busy either, no excuse for the service we received or the quality of the food for the price we payed.

I drove from Waupaca which is at least 20 maybe 25 mi. Was anticipating being able to dine here. When I arrived, there were two handicap parking places. This was good. Upon trying to enter the building I realized there was no way I was going to get to eat because I could not manage the stairs. I asked a gentleman in the parking lot if there was another entrance and he was familiar with the facility and told me there was not another way in.

This is very disappointing to say the least.

UPDATE! : Almost immediately after my review of disappointment, I was contacted by Silvercryst Supper Club. Michaela assured me that the signage issue was already resolved and offered the apology that I received was most welcome and heartfelt. I was invited back as a special guest and I am most appreciative.

This last Saturday I returned with some friends to celebrate my birthday. This dinning experience was most memorable...the food was delicious and the service a pleasure. I look forward to return to see everyone at Silvercryst Supper Club again real soon.

My family has had a long history frequenting The Silvercryst since the 1970’s. It was always the highlight of our summer vacation… watching the bands and having pizza together. We carried on the tradition with our children but sadly I have to report that we will not be back for pizza. The recipe is not the same and the last 3 times we ordered it we were very disappointed. Not sure if the recipe is different but I know for sure they cheaped out on the quality of the food. Wisconsinites know good cheese. Very sad our pizza journey at this iconic place has come to an end. Drove 2 hours from Milwaukee to try out the supper club with my girlfriend. We had a nice lake view inside the restaurant but that was about the only positive thing. I ordered the Crabby Bull (crab legs and tenderloin) and she ordered the ribs. Her food was well priced and good while mine was the complete opposite.

My crab legs had a fishy smell and taste which indicates them not being fresh. As soon as they were brought out that smell was very apparent, the chef should know better not to serve them. I also believe they were frozen due to very inconsistent temperature throughout the crab legs.

I got the tenderloin medium rare (didn’t have the characteristics of a tenderloin, very chewy.) It came out with blood pouring out of it and had a gray hue to it. Yikes.

My sweet potato mash was very bland and the top was discolored to a brownish blackish color.

Now being that it listed market price on the menu I had expected it to be around $50-$60 due to the rest of the menu being under that. You can imagine the shock when the bill came and I was charged $90 for frozen crab legs!

The receipt has a card option and a cash option. Card was around $139 while cash was around $133. I paid with cash. I was charged the card price which resulted in me being short $6. I intended on tipping the $6 anyways so I informed our waitress of her error and told her she could fix it and keep the extra $6.

I understand honest mistakes happen but she grabbed the receipt and held it up acting like she didn’t know there was a card price and cash price. She had an attitude when I brought it up which leads me to believe it was intentional and possibly so she could get an extra tip! She never offered to give me the difference that I was owed, instead just saying “I’ll fix it in the system later”

I really would like to give a full 5 points for the food and drinks. We really like it. compared to the price It's considered worthwhile. But what's not okay is Waitress At first we thought she was busy. But it really wasn't that busy. We ordered a shrimp cocktail for appetizer. But we didn't get it. Maybe it's because she forgot. This is understandable. But while we were eating, she only walked up to ask us once if the food was okay, and then never came back again. As for the steak, I actually ordered medium rare, but the steak I got was so red that it was bleeding in the meddle. But I didn't say it was served because I felt like I could eat the steak raw. More than an overcooked steak ,After that she handed us the bill without even asking if we wanted dessert or not. (Even though we had planned that we wanted to try dessert) Normally we tip the server 30-40% of the price of the meal, but we only tipped her 20%, which to me felt like it was too much for the service I received. It was only an hour and the restaurant wasn't busy. Overall, I'm okay with food and drink. But I'm not happy with the service.

The drinks were weaker and the food was okay. I had the shrimp Alfredo and it didn't taste any better than Olive Garden but was more expensive. Multiple people at my table disliked their steaks. The staff was very kind though and the live music was nice. I'm not sure I'd go again, overall.

Went to dinner on Friday fish fry, my wife and the others love their baked fish fry. They absolutely prepare the fish perfectly.
All you can eat baked fish is hard to find, it's a nice change from fried. They do have fried as well.
If you dip your baked fish in drawn butter, it is like a poor man's Lobster. Fantastic.
Can't wait to be back.
We drive 35 min to go there, that's how good it is.

We drove up here from the Milwaukee area to meet with friends visiting relatives, as they now live out of state. Worth the drive. Prices good, food was excellent, & the service was amazing!! My husband's family used to rent a cabin nearby, when he was a kid, & was curious if it was still as good, as it was back then. Did not disappoint. We'll return again in summertime. Highly recommend.

Took our sons family out to eat. Haven't been at this restaurant in a long time. We all had steaks ask to have them medium they were more medium rare. Server didn't come back to ask if the steaks were cooked the right way. For the price of the meals the steaks should of been cooked right.

30$ a plate for a very bland steak and 3 shrimp over seasoned with paprika with a very run of the mill salad with 1 cherry tomatoe no cheese no croutons. And basic fries. Also got Alfredo dish that by the time it came out the sauce was soo thickened from sitting it wasn’t appealing. I just wouldn’t recommend the long drive if your hoping to find better food then what you can do in your own home for half the price

We're new to the area & staying in our camper on weekends while we get our land ready to build on. Been trying alot of surrounding area take out food. Forgot to take a picture of my steak but we asked for well done and got medium rare with blood on two steaks and when it was time to pay they gave us a bag of mints to get the tast off our breath which we left because obviously they must need the money. My friends and I have been visiting Waupaca every summer since we were kids. Last summer, we sought out a new supper club, and we discovered Silvercryst.

We dined there for the first time in July 2022. We had an amazing experience! Our waiter was engaging and funny. The food was delicious and perfect. After our meal, we were already planning to go back this summer.

What a difference a year makes. We ate there on Sunday August 13, 2023. The waitress was unremarkable at the start. Took our orders. The food came out and it was terrible. My beef tips, which were to be cooked medium well, were blood red inside, and very tough and chewy, and not hot. My friend's fish dish was swimming in some sort of miserable sauce - he barely ate. And the waitress was pretty much absent once our food was delivered. I had to ask a bus girl to get me some more water.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. We will not be back.

Stopped there for dinner on a Sunday afternoon drive to Wautoma. The pizza, drinks, live music and outdoor atmosphere by the beach were all good. The steak for the meal was a little dry, even though it was medium rare. It tasted good, though. If we eat there again I'll order the steak with mushrooms. The server was great and the dining room was very nice.

If it wasn't for the waitress, I would of complained. Honestly, every time, I've eaten there, I ask myself, why I go back. Most time the pizza is burnt, the steak is not great, the chicken is dried out and yes the food comes out fast, but just slopped on the plate, I had broccoli as my vegetable and the taste was horrible. I won't be going back, one too many times I've given it a chance, they need better quality to the menu. I just thought I would take family out to a supper club with history...the view and the waitress was the best part.

Supper Club: Zander walleye was good as well as baked salmon, however at first bite it was a bit fishy tasting, they should have soaked it to get that taste out. Mashed sweet potato is very good. I used the cinnamon brown sugar on top of salmon to hide its old taste. Register early to dine & in person. Request a window facing table as you will then dine looking out over the lake.also Bar occasionally has a band playing: call ahead for season schedule.
