I used to love Singha Thai and this was my first time back in years. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a nice atmosphere. We were greeted and sat right away and our server was kind and attentive.
We ordered the crab puffs and they were as delicious as I remembered.
Unfortunately, I felt the Pad Thai was pretty disappointing. It lacked flavor and the spices traditionally found in Pad Thai. The ingredients seemed fresh but it was just super bland. Topped with lots of bean sprouts and raw cabbage, which added to the already bland flavor. It was garnished with a lemon which was a little different, because usually Pad Thai is garnished with a lime. The portion size was huge-like way too much food. The noodles seemed a little overcooked and when reheated they turned to mush so I had to throw away the leftovers. There are a lot of restaurants that serve great Pad Thai and this is not one of them, unfortunately.
Based off other reviews, it seems that there might be inconsistencies in how the dishes are made, perhaps based on who’s working that day. I would visit Singha Thai again but I definitely wouldn’t get the Pad Thai unless they revise their recipe!

The place isn't pack for dining but there is a lot of orders for take out. Service was slow, so you will have to get their attention to order. We waited for about an hour for our food. They didnt bring it out until we asked how much longer. I understood that they're busy with take out orders but dont forget about the diners, too.
The food was not great and didnt taste like authentic thai food. The two dish we order looked the same, the only difference is the meat. It was very odd because the description stated different ingredients. There was too much sauce and seem more like stir fried.
You're best off going to the other thai restaurants on national and east side. I was highly disappointed with this one.

The servers were polite, but cooking speed after submitting our order was noticeably slow for only 4 tables seated at the time including mine being a table of 2 (no party bigger than 4 from what I saw). The cook time for the three entrees we ordered took almost an hour before they came out.
The worst: this food is just not thai authentic. The food is more for the american palate - bland, no spice, no strong flavors, and blatantly missing asian specific ingredients.
We ordered 3 things:
Tom Yum Soup w/Chicken. No spiciness to the dish. Tom Yum is and should always be spicy. The mushrooms used were the plain white you buy at a Pick n Save. Where are the: straw, oyster, enoki, shitake type mushrooms that you traditionally see in Tom Yum soup? The chicken was over cooked as it was rough to chew like it's been boiled too long and/or chicken wasn't properly marinated ahead of time to have a soft texture. The broth lacked a lot of spices. All I could taste was sourness. Just a soup done bad. 1/10.
Steak noodles w/mustard greens. I ordered this wanting a beef dish. The cuts of meat were too thick. Couldn't chew a piece of beef without cutting it into smaller pieces. The traditional thai style does not make a beef "pad see ew" noodle dish with beef cuts this thick. It needs to be sliced a lot thinner and, again, marinated better, if even marinated at all, for a softer texture (the beef cuts were also overwhelmingly chewy n hard to break down). Taste of the sauce/gravy was only okay. The noodles sort of congealed together under the beef, veggies, n sauce. 2/10.
Grilled duck w/mustard greens. What looks like duck breast was sliced very thinly in 1 to 2 inch by .25 inch cuts. It tasted mostly sweet. Not much meat for the price. Looked sloppily put together and tasted as such. 1/10.
Atmosphere is decent, feels a little outdated, but fine nonetheless.
The price is expensive. 3 dishes costed me about $65.
If you have a palate for authentic south-east asian foods, this place ain't it. This is more of an expensive Panda Express/Lee Ann Chin.

5 star all the way each and every visit. Kinf of a hidden gem located within a strip mall in Greenfield. It's always full of people but the wait isn't long, which is a result of my latter statement. It's a little higher in price, but the amount and quality of the 🇹🇭 food is second to none. I wish they'd put the Char Sui plate back on the menu. It's beautifully decorated making the dining experience that much more wonderful.

Don’t come here, a total waste of money and terrible Thai food. We got the pad Thai which was far from traditional, incredibly sweet and had far too much fish sauce 🤢. The vegetable curry tasted like curry powder and water. Zero use of aromatics that make curry so good. The eggrolls were dripping in grease and had very little flavor. Save your money and go elsewhere.

First time I've been back in 25 years. Brought my wife would never been here before and it was something special. The portions the quality of food was absolutely over the top. It's so great being back in Wisconsin knowing this place is only gotten better. The service was outstanding we have zero to complain about. My wife had sing high beef and I had casserole noodles with beef. We have enough food for 4 days and I'm not kidding. We had the tempura shrimp in the beginning. Grab everybody you know Wonderful local place that's been around for a long time and still prospering.

Buffet was cheap fried fast food Chinese food than Thai food. Buffet was egg foo Yung, processed fried chicken pieces, some stir fry vegetables that were not very fresh. No curry, no coconut or shrimp fried rice, or pad Thai.

I had the crispy sesame shrimp and it was great. The salad is strands of carrots and cucumber with dressing.and it was delicious. Small breaded shrimp about 15 and crispy thin noodles with white rice and soy sauce for dipping. They also have a buffet, small selection of items but smelled good. Second time there 4-15-25. We had our Ten cousins get together and I had sweet and sour shrimp with egg rolls. I ate my food and have enough for two more meals. The food is very good and if was fast to get. Prices are fair for what you get. They moved 5 tables for two to set us together.

A family favorite for DECADES!
The Pad Thai recipe is absolute PERFECTION! Crab Puffs are the greatest "rangoon" you will ever eat. Racha chicken breast comes slathered in sauce but is still crunchy! What kind of sorcery is that?
Once inside, you no longer feel any "strip mall" vibe. An Asian jungle oasis awaits you!
Service is always expedient and accomodating. Dining in, I feel, gets you even MORE food, and the portions are already gigantic. A family of 3 or 4 could likely dine on a single dish. Not joking!
There is ALWAYS a congregation in the restaurant of family/friends. It brings a special kind of vibe when there's ownership family present & eating the same meals they serve to the public. I appreciate this presence!
Dining room always seems to have plenty of available seating and theres a steady flow of pickup orders (literally only 1-3 minutes between pickups during our hour dining on a Thursday evening).
I overheard a neighboring table being concerned about an onion allergy. The server was very accommodating and questioned the kitchen for its presence in sauces and dishes.
I truly hope this establishment outlasts my lifetime. I would hate to try and find a replacement, as I've TRIED to find Thai food as appealing to me, but it ALL has fallen short.

Went here with a girlfriend for dinner. The ambiance is nice and moody. Great for conversation. The service was great and the speed of it was exactly what we were looking for. Food came out hot, quality of ingredients was great, and the portions were large! We tried the pad thai (obviously), rancha chicken (highly recommend!) and Kang pa. All were a hit and will be coming back

We order take-out pretty frequently for lunch. One order of Racha Chicken (I don’t know if I spelled that correctly) feeds three of us. We love that dish! There have been a few times the chicken was dry and tough to eat, but most of the times it’s not. Anytime we’ve eaten inside the restaurant, the service has been really good.

I ordered lunch for the first time from here. I got the pud kee mao which is a wide rice noodle tossed with your choice of protein, or not, and veggies like carrots, peas, and broccoli. The veggies still had a little crispy which I love. The sauce was very savory and soaked into the noodles without them being soggy. The Thai tea was just ok. It was a bit bland.

This is my go-to place when I have the Jones for Thai food!****Edit.....what happened to this place? I ate in & ordered 2 meals to go. The beef with broccoli had tough, low grade cuts of meat & it smelled a bit old. Know what I mean?? Didn't finish (which is unusual for me), got my to-go order & left. Sat for a while waiting for my bill when it was obvious I was done.
The capper? Once I brought the carryout meals home, there was a HAIR in BOTH! Right into the garbage.
Never ever going back there. Be advised!

Avoid at all cost.
-Overcooked meat, low grade meat,
-use katchup as a sauteed sauce,
-soupy curry (dont know how to make curry?),
-soupy lard-na,
-no flavor bbq pork??? (colored pink sugary 1inch pork -ewwwww),
-use katchup in noodle soup???
-$21 for frozen chicken strips stir fry, everything was so sweettttt and saltyyyyyy (diabetic, warning!)
Overpriced, bad server (foods didn't come in the same time, no checking up, no thank you). Cooks is/are incompetent to cook.
Robert Irwin would flip the whole table and split it out. One thing that you can eat is plain steamed rice.
Btw, seems like the only one who care about restaurant is the Latin busser. He is the only one who did ask how is everything, and our water glasses weren't never empty.

This is our first time and will be our last. Service was okay, I couldn't hear or understand our waitress, she spoke to quiet. They had a few people, I'm assuming their family or relatives in the dining room. Majority of the time, all I heard was them talking and kept looking at us. We felt really uncomfortable. Food was on the bland and mushy side. No flavor. We ordered the chicken basil fried rice(very dark brown color). Chicken massaman curry, alot of potatoes, seemed like it was more of chicken/potatoes dish with a dash of light coconut milk but no flavor. Padthai noodles was smushy. Egg rolls tasted nasty, had a smelly weird taste, overdue you can say. The only thing that had some good taste was the fried tofu...They packed our leftover food for us, but they took the dishes to the front n left it out in the opening for a bit....our waitress never came to check on us until one of the lady noticed my daughter's water was done and told her to come to us. The photo showed padthai on the left side and chicken basil fried rice on the right..

Had the buffet with a friend today. The food was pretty bad. The only thing that tasted alright was the rice. None of the food tasted like Thai food. Tasteless with all overcooked meats with old vegetables. The eggrolls were bland and filled with nothing but veggies even though it said BEEF. The sweet and sour chicken was very bland and pieces overcooked. Tried a fresh egg foo young pancake and their “gravy” which was more like brown water. It was terrible. A soggy tasteless pancake with some veggies in it. The kung pao beef wasn’t even spicy and was not very good at all. I tried the yellow pork dish and the meat was very cheap and overcooked. That was the only dish that seemed to hand any taste but was just some over cooked pork and Bambo shoots. Lastly I tried a scoop of fresh “lo mien”. It had a faint peanut sauce taste but really bland as well. I will definitely never go back again. The one older woman was very kind and always refilling our drinks but the food was just not good. There are other Thai restaurants around Milwaukee that I’ll be sticking to.

2 stars mostly for the service.
Couple older ladies were the waitresses.
I didn’t like how they went around refilling people’s water. Wasn’t pouring the water carefully or making it look professional.
One waitress seemed nice & had a professional demeanor,
the other one I can’t say much about.
Most of the food we ordered was ok
but I ordered the chicken Larb dish.
I am Asian so I know this dish well,
it tasted ok.. but it was made so plain.
It’s supposed to have at least a couple different kinds of fresh herbs.
At least green onions & cilantro!
Only herb they put in is a little amount of green onions.
Was disappointing to me when I got the dish

Not been here in 17 yrs and decided it was time to try again. Order pud thai.. one big clump of over cooked noodle in meh sauce. Dumplings were bland, squid was terrible- no flavor at all, egg roll was grease bomb- literally dripping oil like it had not been drained out of fryer at all and no crab in crab puff...HOWEVER... THEIR WINGS ROCKED. DELICIOUS. UNFORTUNATELY, I probably will not go back for one good item out of six that cost $70.... and a shame because it looks like a beautiful restaurant.

First time trying this restaurant after pasting by for many years. Not a lot of positive things to say.
Lots of seating offered, but always empty whenever I stroll by, I've always wondered why and now I know why. The place look clean and tidy, but the amount of empty seats look overwhelming.
I love Thai food, let's just say I almost didn't want to pack my leftovers. Ordered the Pad Gaproa/pad kra pao and a friend rice. They were both drenched in soy sauce, which was made both dishes very salty. Not to mention the cut of meat that were used tasted stale and were large cuts. Usually pad kra pao are made with minced/ground meat.
Waitress was kind, but wasn't very attentive. Took our order, brought our dishes and never came around to check up on us nor refill our water. Regardless, I still left a 20% tip, but that will be my last time here. Majority of the negative reviews were accurate.

Ordered takeout:
(Not worth it!)
Ala Carte - Garlic Pepper Shrimp for $15, not worth the price. They also need to add a better description of the meal, as it wasn't what I had expected. It was more of fried rice with small shrimp and cucumbers (more rice than anything else, as the rice was 3/4 the container it came in). I basically paid for rice.
Two eggrolls for $5. Plain, a lot of bean thread noodles, some carrots and onions, no ground pork (as described), and very greasy. Not worth it.
Som Tum Papaya for $10. In my opinion, comparing this size with other locations is not worth the price. The dish was plain. I had also asked for spicy - no spice whatsoever.

Dined in on a Sunday for lunch. Cute interior decor. “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” by Green Day was playing over speakers that sound like they were on their last leg. Great song but, did not fit the Thai theme and atmosphere of the rest of the restaurant. Their menu is HUGE. I was surprised to see so many different choices on their menu. I question how they are able to keep up with a menu so big, but somehow they do. Service was slow at first, I waited a while before the server came to take my order even though there were not many people eating in. However, the food was brought out pretty quickly after putting our order in. Staff were friendly.
I ordered the Crab Puffs, which is their version of Crab Rangoon, and the Thai fried rice with chicken. As someone who loves Crab Rangoon, the Crab Puffs were disappointing. They were hot and fresh, but it tasted like it was just plain cream cheese in them, didn’t notice any pieces of imitation crab. Not very flavorful. My Thai fried rice was good, HUGE portion. Plenty to take home in a take-out container. Definitely not the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to, but for the price I paid ($23 total for everything I ordered, including a soda) it was a decent experience. Generous portions for a good price. I would consider returning in the future to try another dish.

The staff were extremely friendly. It's a family owned restaurant. They appeared to be having a family meeting in the middle of the dining room. I wondered why the restaurant was so empty on a Friday night at 7pm. But, I instantly figured it out after I received my food. The chicken wasn't fresh and extremely cheap and similar to imitation chicken meat. The ground beef tasted like a pork/beef mixture. So, I ordered a steak meal. When the food arrived. I noticed that the steak was cold and the sauce smelled like vomit. When I informed the owner/manager. She told me that it was supposed to be cold. I can only assume that the meat was cooked hours ahead of time and refrigerated. I'm not a fan of cold precooked meats. I've been to other Thai restaurants. And, the food quality was far better than this place. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This unassuming looking dining gem located in a small strip mall in West Allis is the real deal, serving authentic and delectable Thai food for over 30 years. With its extensive menu, and each culinary offering a masterpiece, you can't just stop in once!

Had pad thai and spring rolls. Pad thai wasn't that bad the those spring rolls were not right. At all. Raw eggroll wrap as the wrapping is not good.

We used to eat regularly here. Most if the times we don't even need to look T the menu as we all know what we eat here. But this time the restaurant disappointed. Padtgai noodles were gone bad and when we complained, the server and the chef/owner was very rude. They said no one else complained. They never apologized or offered to me a fresh dish. Very bad customer service.
Would never step into this restaurant again.

Food is decent, just that the papaya salad isn't that good. Its pretty bad imo. It needs better flavoring and more stuff put in the papaya. Not enough spice, not enough sweet, and not enough ingredients to be call a thai papaya salad.

I have been coming to this place for years and never once have I been dissatisfied. One of the best Thai places in the area if not the state, egg rolls, pad Thai noodles everything is great. Lovely service if you want to dine in, but don't be surprised if it's busy because this is a popular spot.
If you love Thai food or you are thinking about trying it, this is the place to go for sure!!!

The only reason I gave 1 star was because they were nice when order was picked up.
The fried wonton (whatever their called)were dark brown, black around edges & stuff inside was dried up.
1st of all the cook should have never allowed them to go out. 2nd the person who packaged them should have asked for new ones.
When I called to get debit card reimbursement they said they couldn't because it was ordered online. 2nd option was to deliver new ones, but I was told I'd have to pay delivery fee.
In NO WAY were they even willing to correct their mistake.
I said I was going to give them a bad review & I was literally told "go ahead, we don't care". I said "well thats VERY OBVIOUS " & I then hung-up.
My words are the full TRUTH & I highly recommend not eating there.
P.S. fried rice wasn't even good, so entire meal was waste of money, gas & my time.

My family and I came here while visiting Utah. The staff is so friendly... the food is delicious. The vegetable fried rice is out of this world! Perfect blend of spice to flavor. Anyone passing through the town has to eat here once. (We ordered one fried rice for takeout, came back for another in the same night.)

My friend and I went for lunch and it was our first time there. The server was very kind and we took our time looking at the menu which is extensive. The portions are huge, you will definitely have leftovers and they still taste great the next day. We were able to just eat at a leisurely pace and didn't feel pressured to leave. There were even regular customers that gave us recommendations on what to order. All in all a great experience

I've been searching all over for Haw Mok Gai since 2004 and was very excited to see what seemed to be a version of it on Singha Thai's menu - Hou Mok Pla! But it wasn't the same. The Haw Mok Gai I'm used to has a very unique taste which is provided by dried kampfer. This must be a hard-to-find ingredient or maybe not commonly used because I've found both the dish and the ingredient literally nowhere in all my travels. But the Hou Mok Pla I had here at Singha Thai was ok. Being vegan, I asked for it to be made with tofu and they did so. A little bland and unexciting, but not bad. The appetizer of fried tofu was very, very dry and the sauce, while tasty, didn't help overcome the dryness. My boyfriend's Pad Thai was also just ok, he said it was a bit too sweet for his liking. We've eaten here a handful of times, spread out over the course of 25 years, and it's always been the same. We keep hoping it will get better. It doesn't, but at least it hasn't gotten worse. This is a very middle-of-the-road place, don't let the huge menu fool you. And why do they have white paper covering their nice-looking placemats? I don't understand that at all.

It’s not that the food is bad, it just doesn’t taste like what it’s suppose to. The pad Thai wasn’t that horrible, greasy, pad Thai, consistency wise it was great. But the flavor is like…burnt peanut? It tastes like it’s missing an ingredient. Also the chicken is weird, so maybe opt out of that. Their Thai egg rolls are good, a little greasy but the flavor is alright. Their portion sizes are huge, and there are a lot of good reviews— which makes me think that it isn’t bad, it’s just not for me.

Numerous options to choose from and the amount of food per item is incredible. Have tried a ton of different dishes with friends and family and am always impressed.
Pro tip: Order different dishes no matter what, as they bring it out in a way that makes it easy to share between each other and there's ways plenty.
