I had a very tasty cheeseburger with homemade chips with a homemade aioli sauce and my wife had a chicken cordon Bleu. Bothe very good. They use beef from the owner's nearby farm. Very tidy and you can't beat a 16 oz PBR for $3.

We have been stopping at Jody’s place since it opened and keeps getting better and better! When the weather is decent we love to eat outdoors under their pavilion. There is a half dozen tables inside if you rather eat in, and their new addition is almost complete, I can’t wait to see how she decorates it. There is a small gift shop of handmade items, making the perfect gifts and souvenirs. You can also purchase frozen cuts of meat from their farm or visit their farm store a few miles away. Jody knows how to feed people! She makes an assortment of the best home cooked food you ever want! Try it!

After a Monday hike on Meyer Beach we were looking for something open and near by. Settled on here. Did basics such as burgers, chicken tenders, and cheese curds. All of the food was quite good, service was friendly and helpful. Food was very reasonably priced compared to other places in the area we have been eating at. Been going up to South shore to eat their most delicious and fresh Lake Superior trout and whitefish All You Can Eat fish fry, Friday and Saturday, 5 times this summer. 30 minutes away and worth the drive for me. Yum... hit or miss eating outside with flies. Depends if rained recently, but nothing cannot deal with.

Absolutely loved it. My husband got a sandwich out of the cooler, and I got the special of the day- a patty melt. Husband was jealous (though his was good too.) The patty melt was fresh, the meat was delicious, the cheese and bread were so good. Loved this place.

Wonderful establishment to stop in for a delicious quick meal. We had the Korean BBQ Sloppy Joe with slaw and crushed peanuts. It was served open-faced on a homemade bun. It was amazing. My husband had the fish chowder and devoured it. We finished off with a piece of special cake topped with cream cheese frosting. I also purchased a loaf of bread to take home. All sorts of salads, treats and meats for sale. It is apparent that everything is made with love.

Delicious grass fed beef available in burger form or to take home. The veggie pasta salad is a tasty side, and be sure to check out the cheese case, snacks (beef sticks and the like), and fresh meat to take home. It’s an easy bike road down the hill from the Cornucopia Airport but you do have to bike back up the hill, which isn’t all that bad because you’ll have to burn off the cheeseburger you just had. Beautiful wood tables and local art as well!
