This place is a friggin gem. I had the Blueberry Turkey Sandwich on their homemade blueberry bread. It was delicious. I wish I asked if they sold the bread. My husband got the Caprese wrap and upgraded to the fries. Get the fries… they are freshly shaved potato slices with kosher salt and are positively devine. Great service as well. They only have one cook on Sundays, so the food takes a little longer to come out, but it’s all freshly made.

I wish I would've taken a photo of my meal. The menu said: Chicken Wraps: caprese -fresh mix of basil, mozzarella, tomatoes, balsamic in a sundried tomato wrap. So Im expecting my wrap to be: chicken, basil, mozzarella, tomatoes, balsamic.
My order comes & its loaded with raw onions & lettuce. I hadn't bothered to tell the waitress that I was allergic to onions - bcs this meal shouldn't have onions based on the description. When she can by to check on us I explained this all to her & she didn't apologize, she just said - thats how it comes, do you want to order something different then? (I mean - no, I really wanted what I actually ordered) so she gets me a menu & I settle for french toast. My biggest frustration was there was no apology for the mix up & the meal wasn't offered to be made as the description lists it. To top things off, they weren't packed at all & it took quite awhile to get my french toast. My son finished his entire meal, while taking a good 10min break in between sandwich halves & I still didn't have my "replacement meal". Very disappointed in how this was handled. The menu should be accurate of what's in the dish, I shouldn't have been made to feel stupid about the ingredients being wrong. & I APOLOGIZED profusely for not stating I was allergic to onions & explained it was due to it not being listed in the description. 🫤 still - the only respone was "that's how it comes"

Stopped at Skinny Vic’s to try their Rueben since we enjoy a good Rueben and have heard so much about them. My husband and I both agree that Skinny Vic’s Rueben is the best we’ve had!! That thick piece of corned beef with very little fat was truly wonderful!! The sweet potato fries as well as the regular fries were both very good as well.

All I hear is how Skinny Vics has fried chicken. Chicken and waffles. I have never had chicken and waffles, ever! And, I've only had fried chicken once since 2011 and that was in Las Vegas. So, we drove the over 45 minutes, after double checking the menu. This was for my birthday in April. Arrived and excitedly ordered my chicken, but was told it was taken off the menu. 😱 What?!! Why!?! Oh, why. Birthday ruined. Well, decided to just get a gyro. It was my 2nd pick. I haven't had one of those since 2011 either. But, was told it was also taken off the menu. Ugh!! Patty Melt? Nope, off the menu. Geez. They now have nothing that I can't just get anywhere else. Settled for a Reuben, which I can get 10 minutes from my house. It was good, but 2 Reubens and 2 drinks for us cost $65, which was way too much money for 2 sandwiches. I waited years to go here finally and didn't get anything special on my birthday. So disappointed. We won't be going back unless they end up serving chicken or gyros again. Otherwise, they just have the same stuff other gluten free places have and I can get that cheaper and closer.

Tried to go on mother's day, but my husband, daughter and I were turned away because apparently you can't go as a walk in because they have "ton of reservations". We went at 9 AM and they had plenty of open tables so unless they had 11 reservations for right at 9, I don't get why we couldn't be seated. It's a poor and bizarre business practice.

We've been here before the orange juice and food are good but a little pricey. Fortunately there are way more wonderful places for breakfast in West Bend that accepts walk ins on mother's day and any day for that matter so we won't need to go here anymore. 😊

My first time there, took grandma for her birthday on a Friday morning. Waited 45mins for food. She ordered the breakfast tacos and her hashbrowns were cold. I ordered the breakfast bowl and could not believe how little food was in a giant bowl. The tomatoe was cut into to big of chunks I couldn't fit them on my fork with the rest of the food. I can't believe I paid $16 for the bowl. I would never have ordered it if I saw a picture of it beforehand. I have never left a review before but this was just really disappointing. Grandma doesn't like confrontation so I sucked up paying the $65 bill and left. The orange juice and flavored coffee was good.

The food was good but I thought it was very expensive. The service was terrible. Probably a 10 minute wait to get seated, another15-20 minutes for a waitress to come. We almost walked out. Then she finally came. Took a while to get a simple order such as 2 sandwiches. Then it took too long to just pay. The waitress came back and said they didn't have any coin for the change and was that okay? What? Who does that? We both walked out and said that was the last time. I never have written a review on any business before. I am sorry to do this but the owner needs to know that this needs to be addressed. We were not rude to the help but silently walked away and said to ourselves...we will never be back

I've had the good fortune to visit this fine establishment several times. EVERYTHING I've had has been DELICIOUS!! I've had omelets, Reuben sandwich, Patty melt, Shepherd's Pie, soups, etc. The ingredients are fresh with a unique presentation. The staff is friendly and attentive. We went for a late lunch and brought some yummy desserts home with us. This place is so cute! Our server was excellent. We appreciated so many gluten free options. Waited an egregious amount of time for breakfast food-45 minutes. The owner/chef allows for ZERO modifications to orders. Apparently, in her view, she is the perfect chef and knows what everyone should like. The server was not consistent in checking on us, and we went 15 minute without being asked if we would like more coffee. Once the food finally came out, I was looking forward to this “gourmet” meal. It left me wondering why someone so arrogant owns a restaurant. It was one of the more mediocre Mediterranean omelets I have ever had. My wife’s meal was not much better. Perhaps, this owner/chef should pull her nose down from lofts with which she looks down others. That way she just might learn to make food customers like to eat.

This is my top choice of restaurants in the West Bend area. I ordered a Ruben sandwich and changed out the chips for sweet potato fries.. The corn beef was homemade in quality and flavor. Large pieces of corned beef were inter mixed with just the right amount of sauerkraut and topped with just the right amount of thousand island sauce. They used a marble rye that was neither overly fried and dry nor underdone and overly soft where it would’ve fallen apart when one tried to eat it. The sweet potato fries were lightly fried and crunching outside and slightly soft and inside. Just the right combination and not overly oily. My table mates were equally impressed with the dishes. They ordered in quality and portion. The service was spot on and being helpful and attentive. The facilities were clean, comfortable and welcoming. this is a rare example of a restaurant and it’s employees who care about its product and service

My mom and I went to Skinny Vic’s yesterday for lunch. Firstly, the food was amazing. But, I want to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the Owner and Staff. My sister died on Monday and myself and my mom had just left the funeral home making arrangements for my sister’s burial. The owner heard about this and refused to allow us to pay for our meal. I can’t express how touched we were, and how thankful we were to be treated to such a kindness. It was a light to us in a very dark day.

Wow. I’m a foodie a heart and I’ve travelled extensively around the Midwest and south, eating my way through! This place definitely ranks on my top 5. The atmosphere is oldies modern. Super cool! Very comfortable atmosphere. The waitstaff is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. It beat out a couple European places I’ve been to. They were warm, sincere and it felt like they wanted to genuinely be a positive part of my day. The pancakes. Ooofff. So good. So dang good. The breakfast sausage was fantastic! We have been to Skinny Vic’s a couple of times now and all 4 items we have tried were amazing! I highly recommend breakfast here. The pancakes, omelets, and corned beef hash are all delicious! Vic does a wonderful job with all the food she and her staff prepare.

Jennica has been our server each time and has done a great job. Our most recent visit was on what they call “Sassy Saturday” which makes for a fun back and forth with your server. All the waitstaff are helpful and pleasant to interact with. Be kind is sort of a motto around the restaurant!

If you haven’t been here for breakfast, I suggest you remedy that ASAP!

Make SURE you're here WELL before 11:30am on weekdays, I've eaten here many times, so I know the cutoff, today we arrived almost 20 minutes before well aware of what we were going to order, due to short staffing/slow seating we were FINALLY seated at 11:20 waited on at 11:34 and refused breakfast menu. 1st time I've been disappointed by this restaurant, normally a very good bet. Next time I'll have to get there a bit earlier I guess...just FYI for any out-of-towners...absolute cutoff regardless of prior arrival at 11:30am. Have a good day.

Stopped in at Skinny Vic’s for the second time on a busy Sunday morning. The first visit the food was good, this time it was GREAT! We had a bit long of a wait, as there was some kind kitchen snafu, along with being really busy.
It was worth the wait! I had the everything veggie omelette (Whatever they call it), and my wife had the short stack cakes with sausage. We both had the little potato bites which were done to perfection and went especially well with my omelette! The kosher course salt on them was perfect. Their fresh squeezed OJ is excellent!
I hope everyone gets past the first few lines of this review to what I will say next.
THE SERVERS ARE EXCELLENT! Both times, we enjoyed their wonderful service, and they REALLY CARE about how they served us! Friendly, not fake, and good at what they do. Kinda like the old days ☺️

We drove 30 minutes for a Sunday breakfast. We walked in and we surprised to see open tables. We've eaten there before and expected a wait. The hostess told us that the kitchen was backed up, even with not a full house, and that there would be a 30 minute wait. We were fine with that. With 5 or so tables open, we asked if we could just sit at a table and have coffee and chat while waiting 30 minutes to order. The hostess said that we had to sit on the couch and not at an open table. She double checked with a few other Coworkers and came back and said that we could sit at an empty table. My friend has knee issues and it would be hard for her to get up. We thought it was strange that they were willing to turn business away like that. We left and went to Main St Cafe which was very nice.

Came in on a weekday morning. Moderately busy.
Two guests in our party. Same food order. The only difference was egg type.
One order was correct, the other not. - Not sure what happened there...
My order was missing one of the two eggs, the hashbrowns were missing the recommended additons to them, and the wrong kind of toast came out.
The incorrect order was acknowledged, and missing items were brought out individually, as they were prepared. I declined to have the hashbrowns remade due to time.

The server was apologetic for the errors. The upcharge for the additons was removed from the bill, and I was given a cup of coffee to go. 🙂

I'm not giving a negative review, I do recommend checking Skinny Vic's out. I feel that it is important to share the experience so future patrons know what to expect.

This place has good food and great service. Due to staffing challenges, I think some kinks need to be worked out and in time... When staffing improves, this place will be even better!

I cannot believe I waited so long to try Skinny Vics. The food and drinks were served promptly, the server was more than accommodating, the food was absolutely delicious and the space has a vintage feel to it. We had a very relaxing and fun lunch. I highly recommend this restaurant!

One of mine and my bfs absolute favorite breakfast/brunch places. Amazing smoothies and all their food is so delicious. I like to add extra stuff to my sandwiches and they have always been more then willing to accommodate, I totes understand I have to pay extra for add ons but they never get salty about having to add stuff and the chef clearly makes the food with extra care.

The OJ is fresh squeezed and out of this world.

My first visit after hearing many great things and I was not disappointed. I had the Brussel Hash with Rye toast and fresh squeezed OJ with a bit of seltzer. It was all so good. I went home with a loaf of the rye bread! My server was pleasant and attentive.

Skinny Vic's has an amazing staff that does a great job communicating and serving. The atmosphere is really fun. The food is really good. I have eaten at Skinny Vic's multiple times and I have never been disappointed. I had the Reuben this visit and was again very pleased with my choice! Best breakfast around! Dishes cooked from fresh. No frozen processed items. Amazing friendly accommodating service! If there’s a wait it definitely worth the wait! Allergies taken seriously. If your unhappy with something you ordered serves and cooks are willing to make it right. It’s an atmosphere that you can tell employees are happy to serve the community. Please remember to bring your patience as the fresh menu and short staff in the kitchen things can take longer but the owner refuses to jeopardize the quality of her menu and service to seat more people faster. Empty tables doesn’t mean the kitchen has nothing to do. When I went I over heard a server mention the kitchen had a large take out order as I watched many groups walking in for dine in.

Dont go if you like food. Terribly cut veggies and meat, rushed food, undercooked or not at all. Havent been more dissapointed in a breakfast in West Bend. All of this after a 40 minute wait with more than half of the tables unseated. Terrible. Dont go.

Stopped in and ended having one of the most delightful dining experience. The hospitality is so warm and inviting. Our server crystal was amazing as well as the other staff! The food….. incredible. We have the cranberry turkey sandwich and turkey and Brie. Absolutely outstanding! This is a gem worth an hour drive! We will be back! Thank you for being outstanding. Not many restaurants hit the mark on everything like this one does!

My brother and I came for the first time before a movie and got a shake, a smoothie and 2 Jalepeno burgers. Was a hot fresh burger with good flavor and plenty of toppings and we appreciated the choice of bun you used. Only downside was the slight delay in getting our order taken and the time to get our food. Staff seemed friendly. There was an unfortunate wait for those who came in after.

My husband and I are went in for breakfast the other day. It was our first time there. The restaurant is impeccably clean and really beautiful on the inside with '50s music playing. We were greeted immediately at the door and seated and the hostess was extremely helpful being that it was our first time there. My husband got an omelet with hash browns and I got eggs Benedict with hash browns. The food was absolutely fantastic until, I found a hair in it. Nothing puts me off more. They took it off the bill but my husband couldn't even finish eating his after seeing what I had on my plate. Not sure we will go back.

Went there to have breakfast today. Check in at counter the girl said 15 minutes no problem. After waiting 15 minutes looking at 3 empty tables while im waiting besides 2 tables leave. I ask the hostess how long she came back and said it's going to be 30 more minutes.

The food and service were both amazing. My bloody tasted like it was scratch made and not just some premade mixer, and the bacon wrapped cheese curd was an amazing garnish. I would give them five stars all around, but for a restaurant that preaches they cater to dietary allergies, they should REALLY have some dairy free cheese option. Goat cheese is still real cheese and in no way an alternative for those with a lactose allergy. The Reuben pictured is on their gluten free bread, sadly with no cheese.

Pretty good food, lots of gluten-free options! Needs a bit more seasoning but luckily hot sauces are available. Get the fresh orange juice, yum! There is outdoor seating for us who are covid-cautious, but it's on the sunny side of the building and was temporarily unavailable when I last visited (sidewalk concrete repair). The staff are very gracious and helpful. 😊

Our absolute favorite breakfast place, and we don't even live in West Bend or Wisconsin. Generous portions of GREAT FOOD that you find nowhere else, all served by awesome waitesses. Delicious fresh squeezed orange juice, not to mention mimosas for the ladies! BEST HOT Cinnamon Rolls. Reasonably priced for everything you get. PHENOMENAL!!!
