Met a friend for lunch during a Packer game and right before the Sunday drawing. It was packed and even then we were greeted immediately by our server Cheryl who was great. Didn’t have to wait long for our drinks, I ordered the Margarita flatbread which she suggested adding chicken and it was amazingggg! We’ll definitely be back:)

Just came in for a coconut shrimp appetizer and a bourbon special … food was delicious and the selections of bourbon great and even received a free Larceny Rocks glass! Service at the bar was friendly and fast. Great place to watch a game as well.

The pizza was, as usual, really good. Considering how busy they were, the service was also good. The employees are very friendly and there are always some good sporting events on the televisions.
Visit on Friday, 7/19/24:
I'm impressed by the crowds in the restaurant nearly every time we visit. Sometimes, this seems to have a bit of a negative effect on the servers' abilities to promptly take orders from the customers. Overall service is very good, however. The young people you have to bus tables and help deliver food to tables are typically outstanding!
Visit in March, 2024:
For a Monday, the place was bustling but, surprisingly, not overcrowded. Most times when we come in, there might be just one available table. Last night we had our pick of a few spots. The food was very good, as usual, and the service was as well. Another very good experience at Sluggo's.

The environment was lively and the atmosphere immediately made us feel welcome. A great representation of local entertainment centers that Wisconsin is known for. I had no idea Sluggo's is a 40+ year establishment. Lived here all my life and don't know how I missed Sluggo's. The staff we experienced were outstanding! Friendly, engaging and courteous. Customer service seemed to be a natural for them. I'll be there weekly after golf league for sure and often beyond that just to enjoy the experience and sample the delicious sounding offerings on the menu. Great Place! I cant think of a thing to improve upon my first visit.

A friend recommended Sluggo’s and I thought I would try it. We were there Friday the 13th and it was very crowded but we were able to get a table right away, and the waitress came over soon after!!! Darcy was friendly and very helpful! Some of us had fish fries, and some had pizza, all of which were delicious! Thank you, Sluggo’s , we will all be back!

Was excited to go for Macho Nachos hadn’t been here in a while. $18 for a few chips and a little chicken with no cheese but lots of onions and black olives. Saw another plate get returned and came back out piled high. I said to our sever too bad ours didn’t look like that. She says maybe it’s because it has sour cream on it ( ours was on the side) my fault they were busy and I should have sent them back. So loud inside, but they were busy. Won’t be going back for $18 chips

We came for dinner about 6:00 on a Saturday night. The place was packed, with a wait for a table about 15 minutes. We put our name in but then a couple spots at the bar opened up. We took those two seats We ordered a chicken sandwich and a Cobb salad (with chicken tenders). Both meals were excellent. We’ll be back soon.

My wife and I were at Sluggo's again and everything was fine as usual.
My wife had the coconut shrimp and I had the beast burger that was excellent once again with a pizza to go.
The only hang up was finding some parmesan chz for our pizza.
Keep having a great staff that provides services, as great as the food.

I love coming to Sluggos! It is my neighborhood bar and every time I go it is a great experience. I love Christina as your head bartender. She is kind and attentive! Dana is awesome and takes good care of you when you're at the table. This past weekend, Natalie stepped up and help celebrate my family's February & March birthdays! Last minute she made sure we could sit together, and order food and drinks, and made us feel welcomed! It was another great memory at Sluggos! Pizzas are so good! Now, the only thing I would love to see is some outside dining or patio -- so much fun for the summer months!

If you're looking for an above average neighborhood sports bar then definitely don't overlook Sluggo's. It's everything you imagine a neighborhood sports/dive bar would be, and the food is definitely on the better end of basic.
When you walk in it's one giant room with a ton of tables and it's a little hectic trying to figure out if you're supposed to seat yourself or wait for someone. Usually someone makes eye contact in a minute or two and seats you or tells you how long the wait is. There's free popcorn and a pull tab machine, Wisconsin staples.
The menu is typical of this type of bar and the beer selection is good. Food comes out fast and is nothing special but does the job.
If I'm looking for a quick sit-down place to eat with decently priced, decently tasting food that's not far from my house then Sluggo's is usually it!

We were at Sluggo's about 15 years ago and wasn't that great of an experience. So, after that stretch of time, we went back a week ago. This past Thursday was our second visit in two weeks, and looking forward to next week for the chicken.

We started coming to Sluggo's about 3 months ago, and now we're coming weekly. The food is great, and t the staff is the best. So glad we stopped in to check it out. We had the pizza for the second time, thin crust is so very good. For a Friday night, the place was humming, but the staff made sure to take care of all their customers.

We've been trying to get there weekly since June of 23. Trisha is so kind, had been away for a few weeks and when we sat at the bar, she greeted us with her awesome smile. Had the chili, so very good, just a nice place to spend some time at. Don't change anything, Sluggos' is successful due to the staff and food, all so very good.

As always, the food was great, the adult beverages were great, but most of all, the staff at Sluggo's is why we keep coming back. Visiting Sluggo's must be the same as Norm visiting Cheers!!

I've eaten at Sluggo's 3 times now. Both the Fish Fry, & Broasted chicken dinner were excellent. I had the muffaletta sandwich, which was good, considering we are in WI and not New Orleans.
The service is attentive & friendly. Sluggo's is a comfortable, fun environment. I am a single middle aged woman and I feel fine going in there to eat alone.

It was very busy but service was prompt. Drinks and refills were on point. We ordered pizza that was loaded with toppings and cooked perfectly. It's a repeat stop for lunch, drinks, and to catch a game.

I enjoy dining at Sluggo's as the staff are welcoming and the food is excellent. I have been going to Sluggo's for several years and have gotten to know the staff by name. Even when it's very busy, they say hello and take care of me. Thanks for taking care of me and my friends.

After 45 minutes we hadn't even had our food order taken. Other huge tables that sat after us were being helped. We practically had to tackle our server to ask for the drink bill so we could leave. She told us we could just go, no charge, as it was utter chaos.

Went there with my cousin on December 5. He had not been there in a few years we had lunch and even though it was very busy, the service was good. The waitress was very pleasant. The food was good. The prices were reasonable. We definitely would go back there again.

It was a busy evening at Sluggos, but we were able to eat right at the bar, so we could stay on schedule. The service was superb. Everything was great especially the food.

So we get to a table(4 of us) and a waitress takes our drink order and some what quickly brings us our drinks. That was where the good ends. Now for the bad we sat there waiting for her to show up to take our order while she was at the bar doing a shot with a guy. When she finally comes over for us to order we get the 6 bone in wings and spinach artichoke chips. We get the apps and we get 5 wings. Our main order comes out 16" pizza. It wasn't to bad for a cracker crust pizza. We get done with the meal and ask for a to go box(dogs got to eat to) then we sit waiting for the check for about 10min. We see the waitress is back at the bar doing shots again. We get up to start heading to the door. I stand in front of her and she asks "do you need something (keep in mind we all have our coats on ready to walk out) I said yeah how about the check. We pay the bill with $0 for a tip. We will NEVER go back again.

They are busy at meal time because they have good food. Our experience on the most recent visit was great! Good food, great server (Jo) and I never remember names. I didn't see pizza as a choice on food recommendations but that is our go to.

A good neighborhood bar. Pizza is excellent if you like thin crust. Our server was friendly and pretty good.
I've been going here for many years, and it's still nice inside, but I think it's time to invest some money in the place. Jon Taffer would agree I'm sure!
