I was really hoping to try this place today, but it seems to be a summertime restaurant only. Both Google and the website state that the restaurant is currently open, as of 3/20/25. However, it is going to be available for sevice around Memorial Day, I've been informed. I found out that George's Encore bar is the same owner, so I stopped in there for the food. It was amazing! Great service and delicious food! Just in case a wanderer like myself decides to stop by Smoke'd on the water during the off-season, make sure you visit George's Encore in the meantime!

I use to come here all the time and buy food and drinks but after my experience today I will not be returning. Between my friend and I ,we ordered the 6 piece wings with fries and the pretzel with cheese. The wings are frozen wing dings and you can taste the freezer when you bite into the wings, and the fries were mostly burnt and barely edible. I asked them if was able to switch my food out for something else and the cook told me “ no we don’t do that here, you can’t go to a restaurant and return half eaten food” ( I only ate 2-3 fries off the top and split a flat) . The pretzel also taste it was a leather shoe stuffed with used paper towels with a dash of salt!!🤢 Not only was he rude as hell with poor customer service skills, but he walked away while I was trying to show him that I barely ate it.

Their employees also lack good hygiene, and barely follows food safety guidelines. Multiple employees were walking in and out the kitchen and did not wash their hands once they entered back into the kitchen!! A few of them were even smoking cigarettes in the back area and going back into the kitchen when they are done. I have never had a bad experience with them until today, maybe the employees were too drunk to cook the food right today!

It's nice for the live music and location on the water. But the food was is not worth it. Wish I remembered to take a picture! My BBQ sandwich was cold and undercooked with a soaked through bun. Mozzarella sticks definitely were the same thing I can buy in the freezer section at a local pic-n-save. I ate the sticks but threw away half the sandwich cause I felt gross eating it.

Come listen to music and buy a drink. But bring your own food!

It's a very nice area of space with Lake Michigan and a boat launch on one side, food, restrooms, picnic tables and the band shelter in the Middle with plenty of parking all around them. Is my first time there to see someone that we know. There's a fun variety of food and drink. Come on out next year.

This is honestly the place to be in the summer!! The music is amazing, the food is spectacular and inexpensive, and the owner is one of the friendliest people I've met in Racine. My son absolutely loves it here, especially the waking tacos. I love hanging out here, and it's also where Heavy Pedal Tours starts and ends!! The two are a perfect combination.

Stopped by with my 9 year old grandson. He LOVES french fries so we stopped for a snack. Heard a band playing so we sat down. I ordered a beer while he ate and took in the atmosphere. Very diverse crowd and family friendly even with achohol being sold. I grew up in Racine as a teenager and thank God nothing has changed. The people there and the rest of Wisconsin are so friendly and always family oriented.

Driving down the LM coast from Milwaukee, I wanted to find a restaurant where we could eat while looking at the water. Smoke'd was exactly that place. The food was OK...and the dude who took our order was SUPER friendly and cool and the food came out quickly. My son and I accomplished exactly what we wanted...ate our Chicago-style dog and pulled pork nachos over looking Lake Michigan on a gorgeous Sunday!

Smoked on the water is a nice spot to hang out and relax during the summer they offer a pretty good variety of different food options ranging from Chicago hot dogs to cheese fries and walking tacos with a good selection of canned beverages with the alcoholic beverages being very reasonably priced most are three or four dollars for a can aside from the Mike's harder Lemonades. You get a great view of the lakefront with boats passing by and plenty of Sun plus they offer outdoor games like bags, jars of chalk for children to express their artistic freedom and toys like jump ropes and hula hoops but what I find most enjoyable is that they offer live music multiple days of the week with the weekends having bands throughout most of the day so if you're looking for a place to unwind stop by smoked on the water and have a good time.

If you love outdoors and music, you have to come and check this place out. Very family friendly, very convenient to get to. The food prices are very economical and they have a great variety to choose from. You can have a beer while sitting and enjoying the environment. Plenty of parking and it's free, they also have bathrooms available. You can walk around and see the marina, and even throw some rocks on the water. Nice backgrounds for photography as well. I love the blues, but they do have different genres, just check their FB page. Definitely worth a stop!
