Food was ok, the service was not great. The girl behind the counter seemed more than irritated that we had come in for lunch. She served my salad in a to go box, kept glaring at us throughout our lunch. When my Husband walked past to grab silverware she rolled her eyes. We were there 2 hours before close so it’s unclear to me what her issue was. Won’t be going back.

I normally love so chopped and always enjoy getting wraps from there. But today the wrap i got is just kinda sad... There's more wrap than the stuff inside and some of the ingredients aren't even chopped up. Not sure if the missing chips is because my mom (who ordered for me) forgot them or they weren't offered. But for the price I was just expecting more

So I personally didn't order anything for myself but a Friend ordered a pepperoni flatbread for my Daughter and her son to share, and they brought out a Margherita pizza instead, and my Friend also ordered a salad and they messed that up too but They said they would remake the pizza and that we could keep the Margherita. The Chef had a second opinion and instead of being a man he sent a woman to do his work for him while he cowardly hid, He sent the waitress to come tell us that yes they made a mistake but we still need to pay the 14 dollars for the pepperoni flatbread even though they made the mistake. We of course declined to pay and the waitresses agreed and told us they will refund us and give us the pizza for free. Personally I would never recommend this place after this experience. So if you come here be prepared to be treated like garbage by the Chef who's also a coward.

This is the first time I visited So Chopped and I got the steak bruschetta salad for both me and my wife. The salad was absolutely phenomenal (the aged balsamic vinaigrette dressing was fantastic and neither of us have been fans of vinaigrette in the past.) The atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant are outstanding and the service was above and beyond. I will definitely be going back.

Love So Chopped, great salads. Price is average. You order your type of lettuce and fixin's. So good. The problem is the hours that they are open, they close at 3pm, and as of late if they are open at all due to staffing. Went the other day and sign on door stated they were closed due to no staff, but to go next door and grab a premade salad from the coffee shop. I went to grab a couple and there was literally one sitting there, not sure for how long. So I left empty handed. Also parking is a bear.

Disappointed. Should specify on the menu what is served hot. Ordered a Sante Fe wrap which had avocado and hummus and it was served hot. Kinda weird. Wouldn’t have ordered if I would have known that. Wraps are typically cold. This is more of a burrito.

This is a very nice salad shop with a delightful array of choices. You can choose one of their preselected recipes or create your own. Either way it is made right as you watch, not prepackaged. The food was all fresh, appealing and delicious. You could have also made a wrap, but I was looking for salad. We ate outdoors with a view of the river.

I was very pleased to see the addition of vegan "chicken" to the salad ingredient offerings. Thank you so, So Chopped! I always have the make-your-own salad with sesame-ginger dressing. Greens are fresh, veggies are fresh. I usually add avocado. So delicious.

It was the first time I had been to the stores. The coffee shop. I could have stayed longer, but others were waiting for their coffee, smoothies or whatever else they had in mind.
Bodacious has a large variety of olive oil, and white or dark balsamic vinegars. Delicious doesn't do justice to their selection. You tell them which oils and vinegars sound interesting to you and they make up a tray for you. They'll take you next door to the salad part of their stores and bring you some pieces of bread so that you can taste what you choose. Oh my goodness! It seems as though they get all the goodness out of the olives. To the point where you close your eyes and it smells as though you are actually smelling the olives themselves. It's not your everyday olive oil. And the vinegar? Well put it this way. I just had to drink what was left after the tasting. Delicious! If you walk away from the store without purchasing anything? Then your tastebuds are sound asleep. People come to the store to purchase fresh salads, grain bowls and whatever else the restaurant has to offer. I know that I'll be returning there again.

First time ordering from here. The salad was delivered within a half hour, driver was polite.
I ordered the steak gorgonzola salad. The portion size was good. Flavor of the dressing was fine as well. I had a problem with the steak itself. I found the meat cubes to be rather chewy and honestly it didnt really taste that good to me. This could be just me. The rest of the salad was good. I will try this restaurant again as I dont feel one try is enough to decide. I only took off one star and I hesitated doing that.
Also the salad was delivered in a cute little bag. Nice! All in all give it a shot. Many good reviews on this restaurant!

The entire building consisting of So Chopped, Bodacious Brew, and the oil shop (can't remember the name) are an absolutely amazing addition to downtown Janesville. The entire building was gutted and remade to offer an inviting, clean, and relatively upscale environment without being exclusionary. Highly recommended!

This place was awesome, part of the Bodacious Three businesses! Lots of healthy, modern and fresh choices! Everything made to order! Nice venue out back, ok view of Rock River. Prices fair for the amount of food and ingredients. The Olive next door offers dressings that you can put on your salad ordered from So Chopped. The coffee house two doors down is quaint with a nice loft for conversation!

I made my first stop into So Chopped yesterday to try something new with my in-laws visiting from The Netherlands. My life is forever changed. The fact it took me a year to walk through the door is embarrassing now. This place is FABULOUS. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is helpful, professional, and very friendly. The ambience is chic and inviting. Being able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful summer day was icing on the cake. Kudos, So Chopped! You have a new loyal customer.

I went here for the first time yesterday. I picked the basic salad that came with my choice of lettuces, 4 toppings, and choice of dressing. I also added ham for an up-charge. I really enjoyed their creamy Italian dressing. It was nice to know that all of their dressing is made in house at that location. All of the ingredients were fresh and great tasting. Nice place, but the $10 Philly Wrap was disappointing​. It seems they are using high quality ingredients, but all of the soft onions, cheese, and veggies in the wrap turned into a tube of mush. The flavor was very bland overall. Side of Spicy Gorgonzola sauce just didn't have a good flavor.

Maybe the salads are better, but those will add up fast if you like alot of ingredients.
