Upon entering and looking for two seats by the bar, Melissa (forgive me if I got her name wrong), the bartender, helped to open two chairs up. She was super informative, never pushy, patient, kind, and really made my experience memorable. I sought this place out because I love spicy wings. They have an incredible selection of dry and wet flavors. I chose their hot-hot and the habanero mango flavors. The wings are very large (not those dinky ones), grilled, and tossed in the sauce! The Hot hot wings were AWESOME! They left a little warmth on the lips that could be transferred to unsuspecting recipients of kisses, lol.

The vibe here was ultra friendly, and the liquor pours were generous. All the menu items were fairly priced for the quality and quantity in comparison to other places I have visited. I am looking forward to returning to try their hamburgers and potstickers!

We had the Reuben Roll appetizers, Big Bucket Burger, & Grilled Mother Clucker (I really like saying Mother Clucker lol). The food tasted great & the service was also great. My wife had a combination of a Happy Thursday & a mixed drink & I had a couple NA beers. We definitely recommend checking out South Bound Again & we can't wait to go back again.

It was the most unfriendly place I've been to in a long time. She only gave the regulars decent service, and there was a noticeable difference between the drinks we were served and theirs . The exhaust system needs work. The grease smell was overwhelming.

First time here. Stopped in for lunch. I had the "no bun meat feast" w/bbq sauce (smoked chicken, brisket, pork). Very good, meats were tender & had good flavor. Good sized portion, enough for a carry out 2nd meal.
Had a drink, played a game of pool & just appreciated the atmosphere while watching NCAA basketball.

We had the half pound smoked brisket sandwich and they did not disappoint. Great food. We will be back to try more. My only disappointment was not having premium soda. I feel every bar should have Coke or Pepsi or both. I am not a fan of off brand cola's.
UPDATE: We try to get here as much as we can. The people are great as is the food. Tom rocks the food out. The wings TOTALLY ROCK and the taco's are great too. We had chicken and beef taco's.

So we’ve been living in South Milwaukee for almost 4 years and always looked for places that sold great chicken 😁. Today we decided to try South Bound Again, I fell inlove with the chicken. The Waitress/Bartender was so nice, welcoming and assisted me with her favorite choices on the menu to help me decide what I wanted. The food was delicious chicken was crisp just how I like it, the fries AMAZING and my boyfriend loved his garlic park, bbq wings as well. This is a beautiful bar, but the layout is a little weird. It's a tight squeeze to get to the bathroom from the dart board. The wood floor is a little wonky where you stand to play darts also, but not too bad. The food is really good! And so far, the people working have been friendly for the most part.

We weren’t quite sure what we were walking into. I think this place was a liquor store back in the day. But once you walk inside it is like an old rustic southern bar. Came in to get wings at 8pm and was asked to leave due to being under 21, regardless of the fact I had been here before as well as being with someone over 21. Was confused considering it is labeled as a saloon and eatery. Called in an order to pick up, food was ready and was good except for the curly hair I found in my food.
