Beautiful location on the river with an outdoor patio. Everything from wine tasting to mixed cocktails and slushes. Extensive selection to choose from for every taste. Especially enjoyed the live music, which was at a tasteful volume to enjoy the music and still socialize. There was an ample selection of food as well, from fish fry, sandwiches, flatbreads and appetizers. Great place to gather with friends and enjoy a walk downtown or along the river afterwards. Great winery, with a little gift shop too! Amanda, was a great host/server. She took the time, to provide excellent recommendations and was very friendly. This was the perfect place, to enjoy a flight ($12) of delicious wines and do some work (free wifi). Food is unavailable, as the kitchen is closed on Sundays. However, excellent choices around within a 2-5 minute walk recommended by Amanda. My favorite wines were the Jefferson (aged in a bourbon barrel) and the matromony (a coffee flavor).

This winery is awesome. We like to come on Sundays when the flights are half off.

I signed up for their reward program and it builds up quickly. There are a lot of different wines for different customers, I like more red and dry and my husband like more sweet- Stable Rock has all of these and lots in-between. I saw a sign of theirs that said the use fully solar power to run the winery which is awesome to see.

We came with two kids (they had tablets and kept quite) who were welcomed.

We have not eaten here. I have Celiac, and they have gluten free options, I asked about their cross contamination process and it doesn't sound safe. There is no separate area, but that's ok for me. I can eat first or bring in my own safe food, and then go to the winery.

For somewhere half way between Waukesha and Madison, this is the perfect stop.

We always come here and love the wine and ambiance. Tonight we came and it was busier than usual. We were treated by the older lady at the bar very rudely… she rolled her eyes when she had to make my husband’s old fashion. She treated the customers behind us so much nicer. I went up to order another glass of wine and was also treated very rudely. The 6oz pours of wine were not 6 oz… they were 4oz. I was not served in a wine glass either but a plastic cup. I hate drinking wine from a plastic disposable. If the lady behind the bar can’t handle the stress of when it’s busy, then maybe find a different job.

After my 3rd visit, I can say, the woman behind the counter has never been friendly or smiled. She’s never made any suggestions.
