If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Walked in and the sign said seat yourself anywhere and we will serve you. We sat down a were waiting for friends and the “manager” said we couldn’t sit there very rudely and told us to move somewhere else so we did. Our sever brought us waters and said I’ll be right back. We waited 30 minutes and she did in fact not come back so we got up and left. Place wasn’t even that full and multiple other groups came in after us and weren’t served either. Sucks I was excited to try it.

Couldn't tell you how the food was because after waiting for over 90 minutes, we still ended up never getting our food. Our server never returned to inquire about refills or provide an update on our food until we stopped her. Then, when asked to speak with the manager, he was not helpful. He apologized for the long wait and blamed it on new kitchen staff and new waitress. While I understand the pains that come with managing a new team, that doesn't negate poor service and giving an attitude when asking about it. Then, when I specifically said to please confirm if the food was coming up next otherwise we would just cancel our order, he never returned to our table, so we ultimately left. Every table around us waited a minimum of an hour for their food as well. This place had decent reviews, so we wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, due to the poor service, we don't see a need to return. Also, it's worth noting, although this was a Saturday night, the establishment was not "busy", and two other tables that came in AFTER us, received their orders before we did, this of course added to the frustration.

It honestly pains me to write this but I feel the need to warn others. My family and I have loved this restaurant for years. My son has Celiac Disease and it is one of only a few restaurants that have a dedicated fryer for gluten free food. It has been a tradition of sorts to hit Stack'd prior to an Admirals game or concert at Fiserv. It has historically been outstanding. I was a bit concerned with the number of low Google reviews posted in the last few months but we hoped they were a fluke. Unfortunately, they were not.

It started with drinks. My wife ordered a Diet Pepsi and she was informed they were out. It was surprising that a restaurant would run out of any soda on a Saturday afternoon. The first beer I ordered they were out of, so I ordered another. They had one bartender working doing all the drink orders, so it took quite a while to get them. I began watching and saw our drink order come together. I saw our waitress grab my beer and walk toward the taps. I could see it was a bit on the low side. The bartender said to our waitress "that is the last of it." In other words, the tap was out and she could not top off my beer. Despite that, she did not come back to inform me that beer was out as well. Instead, she served me that original beer. What was worse, the beer was stale.

The food was no better. My wife ordered a burger cooked at medium. Her burger came out cooked at well done and then some. I also ordered a burger cooked medium rare and it was well done as well. What was worse, I found two bone fragments in the grass fed beef. We all had french fries as our side and I would estimate that about 80% or more of the fries were a half each in size or less. Very disappointing. We will not be back.

Used to be the best burger in the MKE area, sadly not anymore. New owners or managment? Burger patties are clearly frozen preformed dried out bricks, used to be fresh beef that was the most juicy burger ever. I ordered a beef burger medium, and a burger that was more done than well done, extremely dry, and clearly a frozen patty. Picture actually looks far better than in person, there was no pink or juices in sight. And no more tetras tots!

Stopped in for lunch after taking my son to the museum upstairs. I was worried if they'd be prepared to deal with a toddler. It was no big deal at all. I had two people helping out, and they gave him milk and grilled cheese. He accidentally spilled his drink, as toddlers do, and they handled it all in stride. So, A+ for the staff on making our experience relaxed, and even a little fun. My Texas burger was pretty good. My son liked his grilled cheese, fries, and even ate some of my tater tots. I'm sure this is an uncommon/family-oriented review for the restaurant, but they were up to the challenge and deserve praise for it.

Service was atrocious. Was disrespectful to my wife. He was inconsiderate in answering questions. To all the woman in our group he was unprofessional. They practically threw my bill down. Once a good burger place, now very disappointing and leaving much to be desired. We were "greeted" by a red headed fellow with poor people skills and bad manners. I hate that this will be my first negative review. But I have to be honest. The spicy white cheddar cheese curds is what gave this place two stars instead of one as they were really good. However, the rest of the food was subpar and extremely lackluster. The cheese sauce for the loaded tots was grainy and super bland. All of our burgers were not cooked the way we wanted with unevenly cooked areas that were rare, medium, and well done. The seasonal fruit that I ordered for my baby was not what I expected as it consisted only of grapes and cantaloupe which is my fault for not asking for the variety. Besides the spicy cheese curds the only other redeeming factor was how friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable our hostess was. Otherwise, won’t be coming back again :(.

We went out for dinner for my husband’s birthday on a Friday night, clearly only one server working. Fine we ordered our food, didn’t get half of it, sides or appetizer. Got done eating and our drinks hadn’t even arrived to our table so we canceled them. Why would you not get your drinks before your food? How about the appetizer, doesn’t that come before the meal? They took off the items we never received but still. Poor server, felt bad for him. He needed to check what we ordered to make sure we got it all. Came in on Sunday for the Packers game. We were surprised we were the only two people here. Food was good. Nothing great or more than your average bar food. Pricing is $16 and up for almost everything on the menu. We had two burgers and two beers each, and before tip, it was $70. Condisering, you can go to some pretty amazing spots in Milwaukee, including a lot of upscale venues for this pricing. I can now see why we were the only two in the place on Sunday for the game.

Always the best burger options! So many good ones to choose from or create your own. Love that it's grass fed beef, and that they also offer bison, turkey and portobello mushroom as well as vegan option. Bun options are amazing and can get gluten free if needed or have naked with lettuce. Amazing fries with many sauces to pick from. Great shakes both with and without alcohol options. Comically bad. 20 or so people seated with nearly a dozen staff and pure chaos. Kitchen staff arguing for a solid 30 minutes straight with one literally throwing order tickets in the air in frustration. Wait staff standing at the pass shaking them down, demanding orders and fueling the arguments. Maybe they’re all new?

Food safety here is pretty sketch. It would appear black nitrile gloves are used in place of handwashing. Unfortunately those gloves don’t get changed and they’re doing everything in them - everything. The guy with no hair and beard is wearing a hat but no beard net. Long haired staff skip all the hair control measures. Everyone is in and out of the cooking area - handwashing? Nope.

Receipts don’t match menus but that’s just how it rings up.

Everything is wild. The show of it all is the redemption.

THIS IS NOT A REFLECTION OF THE MEAL. Everything you want out of a burger, fries, fried pickles, slaw, etc. is perfect. We will be coming back for sure.

At 6:30 last night our party of four ventured over before the Villa Terrace Drone show at 9pm for a bit to eat. Outside seating had no less than 4 tables occupied, no more than 7 tables occupied with 3 or more tables open. Inside, there was a party of 2 just finishing up their meal. We were seated immediately and began looking at our menus having just ordered drinks. To be fair, service was fine. In the same way that if you were giving someone a review, you would say, “yes, you in fact meet expectations.” And they would respond, “C’s get degrees!” That kind of “meet expectations. “

We placed our order of four burgers only one of which was build your own. And then we talked about electric cars. And waited. And then we talked about the RNC. And waited. And then we talked about the real estate market. And waited. And then we wondered if someone was needing to slaughter a bull. And waited. And then we assumed that the bull had escaped, they had to phone a cowboy to wrangle it, they had to drag it back, butcher it with very dull knives, and potentially had to do it with their teeth because for the love of all things holy it took a long time.

When the meal came out, everything was stellar. I craved the leftovers. Having started our meal just after 6:30, we finally wrapped up and were out the door at 8:20ish. It’s a stellar meal and I do believe they are all doing a perfectly adequate job and making some great food. Next time though, I’ll bring a granola bar to hold me over until the meal comes.

I have to tell you that standards here have really fallen while prices have risen. You know how if you have leftover fries at home and you heap them onto a plate and microwave then, they're a clumpy, soggy mess? That's how my fries were on a recent visit. If you can't afford to keep the fry oil hot, you're already out of business. The table next to us had Tetris tots. I can eat novelty frozen potatoes a lot cheaper at home. Also they've switched from Coke (fizzy and delicious) to Pepsi (flat and gross).
Two sandwiches, one beer, and one soda came to about $70 with tip. For $70, we could go to Culver's three times, Chucho's twice, or Momo Mee once. The following weekend we did go to Momo Mee, where we got two entres, one beer, and one soda for less than $70 with tip, had interesting food, superior service, and enough leftovers for two lunches the following day.
For $70 for two people, the food and service need to be outstanding, which they're not.

If you're an older person who doesn't want to make accounts to order food online, this isn't the place for you. Called them to place order via phone, had to call twice before they answered, they said they were too busy to do phone orders. My son placed the order online only because it was his birthday, he wanted a bison burger and there was none to be found in local stores. Went to pick it up, parked right in front- if you frequent the 3rd Ward you know how hard parking is to find- so were they really that busy? One son wanted med well, one wanted med rare, both were cooked the same, well. Fries, while there were plenty, were very thin, oily, and soggy. If you want that atmosphere and don't mind spending $45+ for two burgers (no drinks), plus making an online account to order, you're fine. If not, go to Culver's or even Red Robin.

The staff is super friendly, and very ready to accommodate. They are well known for their ability to safely provide gluten free food, and it just takes a quick comment to the server to get knowledge. The milkshakes are superb. A little pricy for a whole meal, but the food is very delicious so it’s worth it.

My girlfriend and I recently attempted to dine here and were excited to try this place. However, I only have negative things to say as upon arrival and directed to our seat we were neglected for the rest of our experience. After waiting for 30 minutes without being served to even put our order in, we decided to finally leave. This 30 minute period included multiple staff members that made EYE CONTACT with us and still refused to serve us. We were not even acknowledged. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a place that so obviously refused to serve us thus ruining what should have been a good meal. The workers and establishment should be ashamed of themselves and this experience has seemingly become all too common in todays America. Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY.

I brought my wife here on a weekend trip to Milwaukee. I had been here once before and had a positive experience. We were greeted by friendly guy who immediately made us feel welcome. Likewise, the waitress was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Kick in the Pants burger and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. Highly recommended.

Our waiter was only okay. He forgot my friend's tea that she ordered and he really didn't check with us much to see if we needed anything. The food was about average. The Wilbur Burger that I ordered was supposed to have lettuce and pickles on it but when I opened my bun after the first bite, I discovered that there were no pickles and lettuce on the burger like I had asked for when I ordered. Also, the french fries had no taste and were way too soggy for my liking. The only thing that was to my liking were the wings in buffalo sauce. Another reason for the 2 star rating is the men's bathroom. It only had one toilet stall and one urinal. Not only that, there was no hand soap and the paper towel dispenser didn't work. improvement is definitely needed.

Stopped in yesterday after visiting the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, which has their entrance on the back of the same building. Our whole group had burgers. Willburgers and build your own combinations. We tried: Classic buns, pretzel roll, and Texas toast. Caramelized and haystack onions. Cheddar cheese and blue cheese. Regular fries and sweet potato fries. Fried pickles. I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting. Covered a good amount of choices but there's plenty more we could try in future visits. Burgers are made with a high quality, grass fed beef. We also had one person order a turkey burger. The bacon they use is delicious. Everyone really enjoyed their lunch! Our server was very friendly and attentive. Definitely worth the stop!

Waited 20 minutes and only got water after asking a server if we could please be helped. It was busy, but still saw many tables who arrived after us get water and food before we were even acknowledged. I really like the location and inside of this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive. We always received a fresh drink when ours was getting low. The appetizer, cheese curds, with dipping sauce, were very good and the burgers were big and tasted good. I liked the idea that you could build your own kind, with various toppings and bun. I have had better burgers at other places, but all and all, this was a good place.

I've been here twice, each time I've had an overall less than desirable experience. The price point is too high for the level of service. First time I was here a year ago every order to our table had some mistake and they weren't that busy, maybe half full. This time the food had some quality issues, not quite cooked right, bacon was too tough to chew and I couldn't pull it apart with my fingers either. I also would expect a premium priced burger place/bar to keep up on maintenance. Several booths show signs of damage and wear, one of them the same giant tear in the corner that been there over a year... Clearly not investing in your business for long term success.

If you're looking for gluten free,they seem to get that right as we've not had issues with a sensitive allergy at this place.

We had a really awesome experience here tonight. I have Celiac and need to eat gluten free without cross contact. I've heard that Stack'd would be able to accommodate and they absolutely did.

I was debating between a burger in a bed of greens or a gf bun. My server said the burgers are so big I wouldn't even miss the bun- and he was right. The hangover burger was really good and the fries were perfect. They also gave information on their menu about a dedicated fryer.

What really brought it up to 5 stars was the service and atmosphere. We came with 2 little kids, and it was a great space for them. We ordered a vanilla shake and my husband mentioned they would split it, so the server brought the shake already split the shake in two cups, each with whipped cream. The kids also devoured their food, which is always a win.

I know next time I go back, I'm trying the chicken tenders.

First time here and let me just say, I was very pleasantly surprised. Burger was cooked to perfection and the fries tasted homemade fresh, and while I ordered a rare burger, it is indeed rare that I get what I ask for. My greeter was also my waiter and he did an excellent job just the right amount of attention without overcrowding me. I figured because the food was great I had to try the root beer float and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this joint, while the prices are higher you do get what you pay for.
