Stopped in for the first time ever for lunch. Bartender was good. Was there for over 40 min got a drink and did not get my food while several other people that had ordered after me got their food and they where done eating. Finally had to tell the bartender that i just needed food to go.

We have visited twice and enjoyed both visits. Good tap selection at a reasonable price, mostly mainstream beers. Food has been good both times. Wings are sizable with many sauce options. Philly cheesesteak was excellent, and I lived for a while outside of Philly, so I have a reference. Highly recommend Stags if you’re looking for a high-value dining experience.

Wasn't too sure after some negative reviews. I think some people complain too much today, lol. When we walked in, we were greeted right away. It was just my daughter and I, and we got seated almost right away. Waitress was at a table right next to us, so whispered she'd be over in a minute. We ordered drinks and a clam chowder. We then ordered fish fries. The clam chowder was very different, almost a little spicy but very good. The fish and potato pancakes were excellent, as was the service! We definitely will go back.

We continue to read good reviews from Stags and the Food we have had was good.
Service is a different story; I have been there with other people three times, two for lunch and once for diner, and each time the service was not good. The final one was last night. We arrived about 6 o'clock and the hostess stated it would be a little wait. No big deal, even though it was busy we found two seats at the bar for a drink while we waited. Bartender was wonderful and we got drinks quickly even though the bar was busy. After about 15 minutes we were notified that our table was ready. Walked up and the host seemed un-prepared for us even though we were notified the table was ready. She proceeded to seat us in the back room where there was a group of about 20 people who had not ordered yet. There was also a table of two next to us and a table of about 6 behind us. Both servers in the area repeatedly visit the other tables while we sat there for over 15 minutes without being acknowledged. The one server then started taking the order for the table of 20. We left. That was our final straw for this place. Three strikes and you're out.
There were other tables of 4 available in the bar area but apparently saving those for groups of 4 is more important than providing good service.

Great place for food in a classic Wisconsin tavern setting. The bartender greeted us behind the the moment we walked in. Saturday afternoon on the way home from West Bend looking for a new place to grab a bite. It looked she was handling the entire bar by herself but didn't stop her from quickly getting us drinks and ordered food.
Ordered appetizer Onion Rings with Spicy Aoli. Breading was light and crisp. Ordered a small pizza for entre. Quickly served food and we were on our way.

We went in to try the food and ended up getting the pizza because it was on special. We had the large pepperoni and sausage with the original crust. The crust was just right, with a little crunch on the edges. It had the right amount of cheese and toppings! Great pizza! Stopped in for a Fish Fry. It was delicious, the potato pancakes are just like my mom’s! My husband had baked cod and potato pancakes, I had the shrimp and potato pancakes, both meals were shared and we both agree it was delicious! Went mid afternoon (3:30) so there weren't too many people. It was a quiet atmosphere ... No loud music or tvs. We got service right away. The waitress didn't know what the specials were or if they were still going on so we just ordered from the menu. Food was fast and hot but seriously under seasoned. We ordered the bacon jalapeno wraps, 2 flavors of wings and the cheesesteak. Everything needed more flavor. We talked about dessert but were so disappointed in the meal that we decided not to bother.

Been here twice now, both on a Saturday and have had a good time, with fantastic food both times. The Nacho Your Average Nachos is the app to get for sure. Not only is it huge and can feed a party of 4, easily, it's fantastic. Also, had the The Boss Sandwich and it did not disappoint. The bartender was the same both times and she is a gem. The food was incredible. My wife had the Philly and I had the Boss. The meat on both sandwiches was incredibly tender. The fries were very good but they could save themselves some money by not giving so many fries. The reason a 4 for service and atmosphere was because we had to get our own menus and get the attention of the waitress. They were very kind people serving us. The atmosphere is that it is a bar and very loud. I would still highly recommend eating there.

After a long Monday, I did not want to cook. I pass this place every day and saw it was a new name & new ownership. Tonight we thought we'd check it out. Totally impressed! We ordered pizza, boneless chicken and sour cream & chive fries. The pizza was absolutely amazing, the food was fantastic!!!

I was here to watch the NASCAR race and unfortunately it had a new owner that remodeled it it away from the NASCAR thing which sucks! The remodeling job was great first class though
The downside was I was in and purchased $62 worth of drinks for the people in there because I spread my money around. When the tab came due I laid down 4 20s to pay the bill and did not any change back of course and I brought it up with the person working there a female and she refused she told me she gave me my money back which was a lie! Love that this place has new owners, a face-lift, and such friendly service! What a change from before! Bravo! I have to say, the new staff makes all the difference. We haven't tried the full menu, but haven't been disappointed, yet. We like to play the machines and I have to say, they are tight. Lol I won't hold that against the place, just an observation.
