I would give a 0 if possible and I’m not sure how this place is still running. I had a what appeared to be a minor for a waitress bringing me alcohol (which is illegal). I noticed someone vaping in the back as well as my minor waitress doing the same! The food was okay but a little cold. I would hate to meet the person who manages this place since such poor, unprofessional behavior is what I saw.

Our waitress was very polite and very attentive. Our burgers were ordered med/well, arrived I would say more like medium (a little more pink than we would have liked). It took about an hour between ordering our food and receiving. Only one toilet in the ladies restroom and one in the mens (door on mens bathroom didn’t lock). I don’t think we will be back.

Not sure if we just went on a bad day or what but our experience did not live up to all these 5 star reviews. We were seated quickly and our waitress was very nice. The place appeared clean and had a good atmosphere to it; however, our food took almost 45-50 minutes for 3 burgers, a pizza, and a kids grilled cheese. The burgers were all meant to be cooked medium well and looked closer to medium rare, the fried green beans were very salty, and one burger had a hair found in it near the end. I also do not think a simple 12in pepperoni pizza was worth $20. We do not have plans to return here when looking at our options in Oconomowoc.

The elote steel tank fries are to die for!! We stopped for a few beers and an appetizer or two. The other one we ordered isn't being offered anymore. Would give this a zero if possible. Just visited Steel Tank and was told to sit where ever we liked. Choose a high top table in the bar and then sat and waited to be greeted by our server. Nobody ever came. I can understand that the bartender might have been busy as the bar was slightly full. However another table was then sat by the hostesses and the bartender proceeded to immediately take their order and serve them. Still at this point we have not been acknowledged by anyone. After about fifteen minutes we got up and walked out. Very disappointed we will not be back.

I really don’t know what happened here. My family and I have been to Steel Tank numerous times in the past and enjoyed the food quality, selections and portion sizes. I have to say that I was pretty disappointed tonight- the menu was quite a bit smaller. Many of the tanks and burger selections were not available, and the portions seemed pretty small compared to previous visits. The worst was my fish fry, which I was really looking forward to trying. I’ve seen it there in the past and in pictures here on reviews, and it was nothing like that. My cod was tiny little fingers, and the fry on it was kind of soggy, not crunchy at all. It was one of our favorites, but unfortunately we won’t be back.

Nice location there is a lot of land next door to walk the dogs with a clean up station. The eating area is enclosed and has exit gates. Good atmosphere on the patio. Reserve for a party of eight and they only set the table for seven. We had to pull up the extra chair ourselves. Only brought out six waters for our group of eight. First visit - Swung by on a Sunday for their brunch. It was motorcycle & show car day, also. Not too busy at 11ish when we were there.
Absolutely the worst buffet I have ever had in my life (except the bacon and the fresh fruit). I have been to budget-motel breakfast buffets that have been better.
The food was dry, overcooked, and/or stale.
There was a seat yourself sign and we just started the buffet since the people I went with had been there before.
A new girl stopped by to check us in and we had to ask for drinks. When we were done eating we asked her for the check and she said it wasn't her section and the tip wouldn't go to the right person.
Thankfully another of our party paid four the 4 of us + a tip because I would not have tipped due to lack of service and horrible food.
Other people in the establishment had ordered off the menu and those meals looked pretty good so I might give them a try again. But off the menu, not the buffet.
The people I went with (that recommended this place) were very embarrassed.

I have been to Steel Tank twice now. I REALLY wanted to like it. Unfortunately, my experience has been really poor. My salmon was extremely overcooked and nobody in my party seemed to truly enjoy their food. Lucy was our server and unfortunately she made our experience worse. She barely checked on us and didn’t seem to care about whether or not we enjoyed our meal. However, we did love the mortar rounds and recommend the beer!! This brewery is a hidden gem! The food is EXCELLENT and their presentation is like no other. You will not be disappointed. Their fish fry is my favorite and you gotta try their chopped salad! Stopped here on a bit of a whim wanting to sample some new beer. Owned by a veteran, everything is military themed. Staff was very friendly. Food was quite plentiful and good. I enjoyed the beer cheese sampler (The Howitzer), each was unique with one being more traditional, one being chili like and my favorite, the blue cheese, being spread like. Large variety of beer styles and I couldn’t make up my mind so I settled for a flight of Sour, Hefeweizen, Stout, and Port. All were quite acceptable and tasty, but didn’t stand out. They paired well with the cheese. Would certainly be willing to go back and try the food again.

I have now been here twice and today was the first time with my baby. The food and service was good but I was really disappointed that there was no changing station in the bathroom for my baby. I had to literally change my baby's poop diaper in the back of my SUV. I prefer going to establishments that have changing stations in both the mens and womens bathrooms but I absolutely require whereever I chose to eat to have one at the very least in the ladies room. With that in mind I won't be back until you out one in which is a shame because I think you do a nice job. I saw other families with a baby and another family with a toddler so I hope you consider prioritizing.

Sister in law ordered one without. She was given the one with. After 2 bites, she realized she had the wrong meal. The server blamed my sister in law for having the wrong sandwich. Took no responsibility for delivering the wrong meal to the wrong person. Told me to take the one with bites out of it, and she would bring the correct meal to my sister in law. Again. No ownership for responsibility. What is wrong here??!! And never have we been contacted or commented by the owner or manager.

Not what I brewery should be! I only leave reviews if something is outstanding or something really went wrong... Jessie B's service was absolutely awful! First off, Jessie snapped at my 86yo grandmother for pointing out the chicken strips and correcting her multiple times that it was from the kids menu. Absolutely understood, but the approach was unacceptable! Being that this was a birthday lunch and it's difficult to move an elderly 86yo person, we were committed to the experience. Given that there were other servers tending to their tables, and the "brewery" was less than half full, there is no way our drinks should take 20min to bring out. Apps came out, and after about 10 min, we had to flag her down and ask for plates. Food was OK at best. Pretzel must have been in a warmer a little too long, the burger was just dripping in grease, and there was no red cabbage left. Jessie offered to substitute with extra spätzle, but that obviously didn't happen. Plates and trays from apps were not removed, and it was like playing table Tetris and putting plates on the bench for us to just flag her down again. Menus need to be wiped clean of food, and torn menus should be replaced. Positive that it is veteran owned, but if service continues like this, Steel Tank will be short lived.

We went with a group of about 10 people. It took an hour and a half to get a couple pizzas and a couple orders of wings. A cheese curd order and a wing order were just completely forgotten about. Most of the group had to go up to the bar to get our drinks. My husband and I ordered our food at the bar and got it five minutes later. Leads us to believe the waiter just completely forgot to put our food in for an hour.

The only redeeming factor is that the food came out hot and tasted good.

Side note: there are no changing tables in the bathroom. If you're a parent, you understand...

I would not recommend this place. We were seated quickly but it took 10 minutes before we even got asked out drink order, and another 30 minutes before we were asked about food. We waited so long I was able to write this review.
There seems to be plenty of staff but slow and unorganized. Our waiter had people coming up to order because he didn't stop by the tables. We watched as he went and helped out behind the bar, poured most of his own drinks, and split huge checks. A lot of these things should've been handled by other staff and help from others. We could see him walking around and dealing with other people, but wouldn't stop by to reassure us and let us know wait times. We waved him down multiple times, other tables were getting served before our section. The distribution of staff was poor. We didn't even end up getting our food, and cancelling our order after an HOUR AND A HALF! We asked what the eta was on the food, and no definite answer, just "awhile".
Other people were cancelling their orders and everyone looked disappointed.
I have never been so disappointed in service.

Today my friend and I ate at the Steel Tank, our server, I think, was Noah, or Nole, not quite sure but close, and we were taken care of wonderfully!! The food was AWESOME, and cooked to our individual preference. How very fortunate for the Steel Tank to have this young man in their employ...loved him!!

SteelTank Brewing was way more than I expected when I just happened upon it. It is clearly veteran owned, you will see that on arrival. It is a cool spot with food good music and 26 of their beers on during my stop. They had a bourbon barrel, 4 fruit beers, a miabock, 2 ambers, a cream ale, Scottish, Oktoberfest, German lager, light lager, Mexican Lager, Vienna LagerHefe, Pils, Kolsch, Brown Ale, oatmeal coffee Stout, a porter, pale ale, Hazy IPA, West Coast and East Coast IPAs. They rotate their beer, bring live music and trivia. This is a fun spot with great beer and really good bar food. You need to put this on your list.

Great beers and the chef is outstanding, he prepares 1 off menu special everyday, ALL of which are fantastic, especially the Chicken Pot Pie on Thursday ( my personal favorite )!!!
The Reuben sandwich is the best I’ve EVER had and I love Reuben’s.
Owners, Managers and all staff are great people making the experience Very enjoyable.

Food was pretty good, service was great, atmosphere was nice and everything was clean. I ordered the narco, which is a chorizo chili and cheese covered bratwurst, which was good but not excellent. That's a hard dish to rate because it's hard to compare it to other dishes. I will come back to try their fish fry and beer, when I do, I will update my review and rating.

While visiting from Florida, we met with our local friends to try out the seafood boil. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The seafood was overcooked, over seasoned, over priced, and actually not edible. While we understand that the cook could have had an off night, only the sweet waitress seemed to care about our complaints and the fact that we wasted $175. It was so over spiced we couldn’t even taste the seafood. Although she tried to report our displeasure, No manager approached us to offer to make our meal better or discuss a monetary apology in any way, and we paid our bill and left. We will never return to this restaurant and I feel the need to warn others to save your hard earned money and not order the seafood boil

We were at the brewery last night with a group of about 20. And our experience was so good. Our server Ryan was just phenomenal. He kept all our tabs seperate, he knew who went with who and he still was tending to the rest of the resturant.
And he kept a smile on his face all night. Food truely amazing. We've been there about 4-5 times. And its always a great experience.

This place was great. Atmosphere is open, clean, and easy on the eyes. The food is even better. Some hefty portions here, bring your appetites. We got the club Sammies with fries, would definitely get them again but I've got my eye in the schnitzel for next round.

The beer is great too, I tried the iron something hef, which was great and got a few to go beers as well.

I'm going back for sure, and so should you.

My cousin told me we had to try this place. I was skeptical because I never heard of it. The food is fantastic and I'm not just saying that because I was starving at the time lol. The burger was awesome and the Reuben sandwich was at least an inch and a half thick with corned beef. You won't be disappointed...

Just had a fun dinner at Steeltank! The Ruben with Steeltank fries was piled high,lean and delicious. The 16’ pizza we got was good. Lots of cheese and toppings. I also ordered the seasonal blood orange beer which I enjoyed. We will definitely go back.

Had a business lunch scheduled today and I was craving a really flavorful pub burger, WOW did STBC hit the bullseye! It was exactly what I wanted and more. The Cheese flight with bread pieces was out of this world, astounding flavors! Compliments to the chef!! I'll happily schedule more lunches here for food this good!

Went in on a Saturday afternoon not extremely busy to meet up with a friend who was in town. Building is very clean and well organized. The staff on the other hand not so much as sitting there for over 5 mins at the bar not one of the two bar tenders came by to see if I had any questions or if I would like a drink. Also, both looked like they hated their jobs and didn't want to be there. There was one waitress of staff and he was complaining to the bartenders about work. Beer was decent had their hazy IPA and it was fresh tasting and actually very enjoyable. Would of been a 4 star review if the service was better.

Had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and the jammin' jenny lager. Everything was excellent. Burger was seasoned well and cooked to a perfect medium. Fries were crispy on the outside and hot and fluffy in the inside. The beer was a great sipping beer and refreshing. I will be back whenever I'm in oconomowoc for lunch or dinner. Great!

Just ate at Steel Tank Brewing and it was amazing. Tuesday night was seafood boil night. This was as good of a boil that I have had outside of Louisiana. Their beers were solid as well. The next time I am in the area, I will be eating there again. The service was great as well Jackie F was fantastic and very nice.

Not much as far as options of their food and drink menu. Service wasn’t that great. I sat with no beverage for probably a half hour. The bartender asked people sitting around me for what they wanted but I basically had to jump in front of him when he walked by to get his attention for a beverage. At that time there was probably 10 people in the whole place so they weren’t busy.
