We all 4 had a different entre and each of us thought it was the best we ever had. From the herb encrusted haddock to the tenderloin steak, the meatloaf, and the schnitzel, we all agreed the food was absolutely delicious. The presentation was very good also and the portions were very generous. The service was prompt and efficient, and our waitress Olivia was also making drinks. We tried a few of their specialty non alcoholic drinks and were not disappointed. The craft root beer was great. Desert was strawberry shortcake and again it was a masterpiece. Every item we tried was unique in presentation and preparation and all equally delicious. This will be one of our go-to places whenever we're in the Appleton, WI area.

Tonight we went here with our dogs and sat in the dog area at the picnic table waited for about 15 minutes. We’ve come here in the past where you sit with your dogs and a waitress will either stand at the gate and you can order or even come by you to order. But this time Nobody greeted us nothing so we had to walk up and get the waitresses attention and she finally tells us that we have to either order at the bar or sit at a table outside the fence which I could literally touch with reaching over the dog fence.

So then my wife went inside to order and she begins to tell the bartender that in the past, the waitress would take our order from the dog area and bring us our food. The bartender goes on to
Say “so you’re the couple with the dogs and yeah things change.”

We order chicken nachos a sandwich and a beer. The bartender says loudly, “I’m going to need everyone’s I.d.” Even tho my wife is 25 and pregnant, so then my wife has to come back outside so I can give her my I.d.

Then the bartender goes on to say “your food will be in a to go container” my wife says “wouldn’t it get all soggy because we ordered chicken nachos and a sandwich?” She assured her it’ll be fine.

So we sit outside at the picnic table for another 15 minutes then the buzzer goes off and everything is in a to go bag. We bring it back to the table and sure enough everything is lukewarm at best. On top of that they put pork in the nachos and not chicken.

Needless to say, we felt unwelcome and basically a nuisance to the waitress and the bartender and we will not return.

Really good food here! I tried the scotch egg, Scottish ale and venison meatloaf sandwich. All very delicious. And dined outside

The menu only has full pours listed but you can get smaller pours which I did

Excellent location for people like me, staying at the hotel across the street and looking for something hearty after a long day by the water

Had heard good things, so checked out.
My meatloaf sandwich WAS FANTASTIC as were the chips.
Wifey had nachos that were really good.
Only issue was we ordered gin and tonic and they made it with, and charged for, Bombay Sapphire which I did not specify.
Waitress offered to correct but I didn't want the young bartender to suffer any consequences, so we declined the offer.

Since trying it, my wife and I go at least once a week! Try it, you wont be disappointed. Not too mention, the in-house soda and beer selections are top notch.

My husband surprised me with their valentines dinner two last night. Our waitress was not very good at all. We got one drink in 45 minutes, and my husband had to leave the table and go up to the bar to get our second drinks. The table next to us they ordered two drinks immediately because she was slow. The meal portion was great until dessert time, which we asked to get ours to go. They gave us one dessert. We asked about our second one, and they said it is ne dessert per couple. They I asked while it should be advertised that way. The waitress didn't even know that until she went back and asked the cater for our second one. Even the owner asked how things were when she came back to our table. He even looked at the menu, and he agreed, and he went and corrected with the other waitresses. However, they still didn't make it right with us couples that were not aware.

Not sure what happened to this place. But for a basic wrap, the chicken was like rubber, bacon seemed to come out of a Hormel package and the fries seem to be basting in a salt bath for quite some time.

I've been here a couple of times, and my overall impression has pretty much been "meh". It's local to home, but I'm not a huge fan of brew pubs so...

Last night my kid wanted the Mac and Beer Cheese, so I looked up the menu on the web (pictured) and called in an order. Arrived a bit early to pick it up, so no issue that it wasn't quite ready. I grabbed a seat to wait and pay the bill. Initially, I was kind of surprised to see the "Environmental fee" since this was not indicated on the website or by the person who took my order. I guess they're covering the cost of the takeout containers - eh, whatever. Then I noticed the price of the Mac and Beer Cheese at $22. My math was expecting $18 for the Mac plus chicken based on the web menu prices. I paid it as was and left a tip - I'm not about to torture the poor kid at the hostess desk. Truthfully, if the Mac and Beer Cheese had been up to par, I probably wouldn't be writing this review, but again - a resounding "meh". I live literally 4 minutes up the road, so there's no really "didn't travel well" excuse for it being tepid or having a broken cheese sauce.

Here's the thing - I get that prices can change, but since this is almost a 30% increase in a menu item, I'd expect that such a change would warrant the cost of having the webmaster fix the prices on the web menu. I guess not. I have a general three-strike rule on restaurants. Stone Arch Tied House is a strike out for me.

Unfortunately 1 star is as low as I can rate.
Tried to stop in last night at like 7:45. Was immediately told we can not be served because the kitchen closes at 8. Even tho their website and Google says 9pm.
So we got to drive half hour for us to immediately turn around and go somewhere else.
Very disappointed. Maybe update ur Google to state ur kitchen closes early......

Update*

The way your staff made it sound... It was a normal thing to close at 8. "sorry our kitchen closes at 8pm". Could have worded it a bit better. Had nothing but poor experience at your other location. Figured we would give this ago to see if it differs between locations.

To say the service is slow is an understatement. The service was nonexistent! We were seated promptly and then ignored. They were not busy, only one other table when we arrived. Two other customers arrived after we were ignored for 10 minutes and they were offered water and a promise to return to take their order. We left. The staff was clearly busy goofing off in the kitchen/bar. Zero star recommendation.

I have only ever ordered carryout because I don't want to spend my entire experience with young children running a muck. Outside over run with small children seems like all the time. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Stone Arch Tied House, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly brewed beer and the lively atmosphere of the Tied House. The interior design is modern yet cozy, with ample seating options and a welcoming ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the beer. Stone Arch Tied House offers an impressive selection of craft beers, each brewed with precision and passion. From crisp lagers to bold IPAs, there's a beer to suit every taste preference. I opted for a flight to sample a variety of their offerings, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and complexity of flavors.

In addition to their fantastic beer selection, Stone Arch Tied House also boasts a diverse menu of delicious food options. I indulged in their signature appetizer platter, which featured an array of mouthwatering dishes perfect for sharing. The culinary team at Stone Arch Tied House showcases a commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, resulting in dishes that are as flavorful as they are satisfying.

What truly sets Stone Arch Tied House apart is their dedication to creating a sense of community. The staff members are friendly and attentive, making guests feel like part of the family from the moment they arrive. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're sure to feel right at home at Stone Arch Tied House.

Overall, my experience at Stone Arch Tied House exceeded all expectations. Whether you're a beer enthusiast, a food lover, or simply looking for a great place to gather with friends, this Tied House is a must-visit destination. I can't wait to return and explore more of what Stone Arch Tied House has to offer.

Our server was fantastic. There were 6 of us & all of our orders were correct & she was very attentive. The spinach artichoke dip was fantastic. I had some leftovers & it was still great. My son gave the chips 5 ⭐! 2 ppl got the Scotch Egg & said they were good. The cheese curds looked great but it's not a shareable appetizer. I had Fish & Chips. It was fine. The fries were a sweet & salty seasoning which was a surprise. I wasn't super crazy about them. The haddock was fine. My husband said the Reuben was good but salty. A friend said the same about the Schnitzel. Overall, it was a good experience but I'd probably try something different next time.

Decided to stop by and give this place a try. It was not super busy, but the noise made it hard to hear our server. We got pizza and a pulled pork sandwich, with fresh chips (made fresh, but not warm). The pizza had lots of oregano on it and the cheese was pretty flavorless. The pulled pork was chunks of pork (not what I think of when I get pulled pork), but tasted fine. We got the cheese curd appetizer and have never gotten square cubes of cheese before. They were good, but for the quantity, they were pretty pricey. Bill was $51 before tip with 1 soft drink.

Not my kind of place/food.

First time trying the place after frequenting Stone Arch and sadly was disappointed. We ordered the blackened cod sandwich with truffle fries and the haddock dinner. The cod didn't even fill half the bun, so more than 50% of my bites had no fish. The wife's haddock was way overcooked. The wife stated the best part of her meal was the rye bread from Manderfields. The truffle fries were okay, though there are better in the valley. The service was also lackluster. We had to ask for silverware after being served our food. We had to ask four different people for either water, silverware or ketchup. One food runner had earbuds in so it was not a surprise they didn't hear us. Unlikely we go back on our own. Will only be back if a group asks us.

As the Cheif EDI officer for the County, I really like to support local. Today that experience failed me, I went in and ordered the brunch burger without egg and I was told 10 minutes. I came back in 10 minutes the burger was not ready. Then when it did come out it was no fries included that was supposed to be included and so I waited another 5 minutes. All in all i waited 20 minutes and my burger was still not done correctly. I will not be visiting this or recommending either.

Went to Stone Arch Tied House tonight to sit on the deck. The food was very good!! Had the scotch egg, pork belly tacos and the bacon jam bruschetta to start. Then had salads for the main. My husband had a chicken Caesar and I had the roquefort pear salad. They probably could have used 2 servers on the patio but it's very early in the season and the server managed very well! I don't have a food pic, but the food was in fact picturesque. My husband and I will be back to try all the other options on the menu! There is also a nice lawn area that is dog friendly with yard games! Definitely worth a visit!

Went here the day before Mother’s Day, 2023, and had a great time! we had one of the big outside tables. Dog friendly! They have a nice fenced in area for dogs and a mix of both patio tables with umbrellas, as well as tables out in the grass with and without umbrellas. The Beer and the Food, as is the case with the main location in the flats, is excellent! If you want to be waited on hand and foot, then go inside and eat indoors here. When drinking and eating outdoors, it’s a more relaxed vibe: just place your order inside at the bar for drinks and food and you’ll do fine. Servers will bring your food out. Their cheese curds are excellent, as are their burgers. I had the Reuben and it was one of the best I’ve had in 20 years of living in the valley. A good bit of their ingredients are sourced locally, like locally-raised elk, regionally-made cheeses, and many other really interesting items you’re not gonna see you at other restaurants.

Really disappointed with our first experience today for brunch. We didn’t have reservations, and were told to go stand by the wall at the end of the bar, but we were then in the way for all the servers and access to the bar. There’s no waiting area.

We get seated, and as we’re walking to our table a couple is taking the table themselves and the hostesses just look at each other awkwardly for a bit before telling these people they needed to still wait for their table.

We ordered drinks (mimosa and a mule) and this was the best part. My husband ordered the breakfast chili and the pickle brine chicken sandwich with hash browns. I ordered the mushroom skillet. The chili came out with a dirty spoon, and we had to sit waiting for our waitress to come back (not sure where she was, it wasn’t overly busy at this point) and didn’t get another spoon until our food came out. My entire meal was lukewarm, then hash browns on the bottom were actually cold and were soaking in grease. My husbands looked the exact same way, we didn’t eat them. The meal had potential, but the cheese wasn’t melted on top and it looked like it had just been sitting.

We asked the waitress for the bill and my husband tried to give her the card right away because it took so long for her to come back, but she quickly left again. As we were signing the receipt another couple came up to the hostess stand asking if they could pay which they were quickly told no, and they said they haven’t seen their server and the hostesses didn’t attempt to help them.

We love Stone Arch and had high expectations for this place, but after this experience we won’t be back as it was essentially a waste of $70.

Had a table reservation for 6:30 on 10/15/2022 for a party of 6. Planned on meeting at 6:00. The host informed us that there wasn't room for us to come in. Told us our table was given to a larger party. He then came out by us yelling that our reservation wasn't until 6:30. Terrible customer service,he continued to yell that if we wanted to wait outside they'd get us a table for 6:30. Umm no we aren't waiting outside it was cold and raining. We had a horrible experience at this place which started with the supposed host who met us outside before we even got in. We had a fantastic lunch here! Offering a similar menu to the main location, the Tied House has a great atmosphere and a fabulous outdoor seating area - not to mention delicious beer!

So disappointed. Couldn't wait to try this place since it opened, but my advice would be to stay away. My husband ordered chicken pot pie for $13 which was nothing more than a cup of soup with a square piece of filo dough plopped on top. Didn't even look good and certainly didn't taste good. I ordered the fish and chips for $16, average at best with frozen fries. Atmosphere is cold and sterile. Was hoping for much more. 🤮

Beautiful new place in town to catch up with family and friends. Very welcoming staff. We enjoyed an appetizer and drinks before the dinner rush. The outdoor space is an amazing addition to the Main Street area with stunning views of the Windmill.

Just as good as the other stone arch restaurant! Though they don't have Shepard's pie on the menu sadly. Still great 👍

The food, beer and service was great! Look closely at the bill if you use the scan and pay app. It didn’t match up with our actual bill. It had a dessert charge on it that we didn’t order. Not blaming Stone Arch for that.

I had wanted to come here since they opened. We ate here tonight and it was great! I had a cup of the soup of the day which was tomato bisque. I also ordered the margarita pizza and the honey wheat beer. We also sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. It was great and I look forward to stopping back here again.

The service was great, the coating on the fish was gross my burger was super charred on the out side and still mooing on the inside and the kettle chips were awful ,but the fries were good

Nice place, good selection of the Breweries beers and a few guest taps. Bartender was very friendly and attentive. Decent food menu but thought the prices were slightly higher then I was expecting but I think that's Biden's fault

First time in Stone Arch Tied House and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The prosciutto sandwich is to die for. Louis, our server was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. I wish I had taken pictures of our food…next time

This is a far cry from the Stone Arch in Appleton that I've loved for years. The portions were insultingly small, and some of the bread was literal black char because it was so burnt. With that being said it's a neat atmosphere and the staff is nice.

I was really excited to try this place but was disappointed in the amount of food we got for the price. There were three of the smallest fish in the fish and chips...about 3 inches each. For $16 I expected a little more. Also there were just two slices of turkey on the club sandwich. Very disappointed and still hungry. Staff was friendly and the beer is good.

Food was amazing, even better than the main Stone Arch location. Seasonal Grilled Cheese and the Truffle fries are an absolute must keep on the menu.
