$50 a steak has to be much better than just okay. We ordered 3 steaks, none of which were done to specs. Everything is ala carte which makes for a strange experience. No bread and special butter, no salad, just a plain, and quite small steak in the middle of the plate. Sides are separate cost. I had the cauliflower which was quite good. In spite of being one of the first diners of the afternoon, it was so loud I couldn't hear the waitress talk. We ordered 2 drinks which didn't come. Had to remind the server and they only finally came with the food. Expensive and not that good. We had the nice view of the river but it didn't make up for the noise and way over priced food. We won't be coming back.

All the flavors are there! We chose to sit at the bar and have small plates with a couple drinks. The service was fantastic and attentive by multiple employees. We ordered the carrots, scallops and crab egg rolls. Everything was phenomenal. This reminds us a lot of the Idlewile Inn which has been closed for some time and we miss dearly. Many people questioned the prices. The prices match the flavors. For many, this is a place to dine for special occasions. The menu, flavors and atmosphere are unique to this area. Give this place a shot, I do not think you be disappointed. We cannot wait to come back. Don't be turned away by a nearly full parking lot. We went at around 6 on a Saturday night and walked right up to the bar. There is plenty of seating away from the bar as well. The bar cleared quickly while we were there so if it's a last minute decision, shouldn't have to wait long to sit somewhere other than a table.

When you see the food presentation, you can't help but say Wow! Then when you taste it you will say WOW even more enthusiastically. On top of that, our server, Matt, and the rest of the staff were friendly and professional. This is truly a gem in Sheboygan County.

It didn’t start well. We had a reservation at 4 pm and got a message saying “If you would like a drink at the bar, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your reservation.” Arrived at 3:40. Chef looked at us and growled “We don’t open until 4!” Chastised, we went back to our car. (Hint: if you don’t want us there early, don’t tell us to come early and maybe keep the doors locked.)After our second arrival, our waiter Michael made up for the rough start. Service impeccable. Food delicious. Will go again. Just not early.

What an amazing experience! Scott knows exactly what he is doing behind that grill!!! A group of us ladies dined at Strip Steak House for the very first time and from the second we walked into the door until we left, we were treated like royalty. The appetizers, the salads, the main entrees, the deserts and the drinks were delicious. The staff was SUPER friendly!!! What an AWESOME addition to our community - each one of us said that we would definitely be back. Nice job, Scott and staff!!

My wife and I took her son visiting from Michigan and her hearing impaired, elderly parents out for dinner. When making reservations we asked for a table in a more quiet table in the dining area. We were placed in an area that had a party of 8 who were very loud! When our dinner arrived a party of, I believe intoxicated, 4 were seated who were even louder. It was so loud that we weren't able to have a conversation, which was very disappointing. All of our food was incredibly good, as was our waitress! However, the ambiance was less than desirable, especially when spending $300+ for our food plus a 20%+ tip. Diners beware.

It was our first time coming here and Michael did an amazing job welcoming us in, showing off the menu and telling us what was special about the place. To start we tried the clam chowder which is probably one of the best I have had, the ribeye and filet were both cooked to a perfect medium rare. The truffle fries are definitely big enough for 2-3 people, seasoned well with a nice aioli to go with it. I’m not sure if the desert changes but they had a mint chocolate chip crème brulee which tastes just like an Andes candy! Overall the experience was very good, the only thing I would complain slightly about is the price. We have been to a few similar places that tend to be cheaper with the same quality, but I’d have to say I would return!

Very good food! We will have to go back and try all the small plates. (They sounded amazing.) Tonight we both got steak, shared the carrots and asparagus and started with bacon wrapped dates. Service was good by Michael. It’s nice to have an upscale place in the area. We both agreed the steak was great but could’ve just eaten all the veggies. They were that good!!

Food was great. Things you really don’t get anywhere else and are really delicious.
Dining area is a little smaller, so you may have to wait a bit for a table. But visit the bar, you won’t be let down.
Nice scenic area.

Excellent food and great service from Kelsey (we ate at the bar). It was a little hazey (grill smoke?)and somewhat loud in the bar area, however a large group had come in. We had a Ceasers salad which was good. I had the stroganoff and it was excellent. My wife had the rigatoni and enjoyed it. Portions were plentiful and enough leftovers for another meal. Prices are above average. With two weeks in they are doing a good job.
