It feels a bit sketchy pulling in the parking lot and around the building but we had such a lovely experience! Service was exceptional (I believe our server was Ashley) and really helped make the experience. We got the spicy artichoke dip and while I wouldn’t call it spicy, it was certainly flavorful and would recommend. My boyfriend’s steak pasta was a little overcooked but he didn’t mind because it was delicious and my ahi tuna was perfect (pictured)! To top it off, great drinks and a fun view of the river. 100% will come back when we are in the area.

The Surf and Turf is a Culinary Delight!

I visited on a hot summer day and sat outside on the restaurant’s riverside deck. The water view with the gentle breeze was perfect. I was welcomed with refreshing cucumber-infused ice water. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection, already sliced into tender, bite-sized pieces that melted in my mouth. The grilled shrimp was juicy, flavorful, and expertly seasoned. Everything was beautifully balanced by sweet, crisp julienned carrots, which added just the right contrast to the richness of the dish.

It’s rare to find a place that delivers both ambiance and culinary excellence, but 1212 Studio nails it. I’ll definitely be returning — this spot is a gem.

When we arrived, I asked if they had any specialty drinks. Bartender told me to scan the QR code for a drink menu. No recommendation when asked. My husband ordered a bottle of beer. Skunky taste. Expiration date Nov 2024. Bartender gave him a different brand, but never removed the others from the cooler. So, assuming they were going to continue selling those. Asked for a printed menu. Was told I had to scan the QR code. Couldn't believe they didn't have one printed copy for a couple of the older folks in our group. Food was average. Brussel sprouts were dry. 20% gratuity automatically added to our bill because we were a group of 10 even though each couple paid separately. Cucumber water was a nice touch. Won't go back.

We've been back almost every time we're in Green Bay, only gets better. Anybody in town next week for NFL Draft should check it out. Only a couple miles from what will be a crazy downtown. Make a reservation & avoid long waits. Enjoy!

Good customer service, Great atmosphere and location but the food just comes up short. First thing's first, even though the restaurant's name is "CAFE and Wine Bar" this is NOT a cafe. The coffee is either instant coffee or made from low quality pregrounds yet priced like a premium coffee. The irish coffee is just this same low quality coffee with a shot of cream Liqueur on the side (yes you have to pour it in yourself). When we asked our server about what type of coffee it was she had no idea that their were different types of coffee. She did try her best to be helpful but just lacked overall understanding of food in general (when asked if the fish was fresh she said it is made for each order). Additionally, contrary to the many Lay people's reviews the food (fish in my case) DOES NOT seem to be fresh, when it was brought out to us it showed some signs of have been previously frozen. Now let's move on to desert, I was thrilled to see that they had apple crumble on their menu which I love to eat and make! As soon as the plate came out I was immediately skeptical but looks can be deceiving ( especially with a dish that looks like a pile of dirt) so I decided to still give it a try. With my first bite skepticism turned to affirmation and with my second bite affirmation turned to disappointment. This particular apple crumble seemed to just be vanilla ice cream with canned apples and a packet of quaker oats cinnamon apple oatmeal spread atop it. This was the final nail in the coffin for Studio 1212 and our meal.

In conclusion, Is this a cafe? NO.
Is the food good? for the most part it is, the plates are well portioned and most of our food was quite delicious.
Is it fairly priced? Absolutely NOT, (use your company card here).
That being said the service was excellent even if a bit underprepared and the location cannot get any better (literally a stone's throw from the fox river). A restaurant which, with a few many changes and price reevaluations, has potential to be a powerhouse in Green Bay.
But I encourage you to visit them and draw your own conclusions!

Edit: there is no way to reply to a reply so I will place my response here. For anyone wondering, "San Francisco Bay Coffee Extra Dark Blend" is in fact a preground coffee. Having so many great local roasters in town why not give one of them a call? :) . Like I said in my original review, Fresh doesn't mean made to order, it means not frozen. And finally I'm happy to hear the Apple Crumble is a popular dish, that doesn't change what it's made out of/from. Mcdoubles are one of Mcdonald's most popular dishes, doesn't mean they're good.
Do you have a response to the many diners (myself included) who have said your items aren't fairly priced? You seem to have skirted around that question. In terms of price, what quality advantage do you have over a place like The OC? Which is just on the other bank of the river and offers much better prices.

Great food, all appears to be home made with fresh ingredients, but the only reason I can’t give 5 stars is the price of the drinks. It was sticker shock when the bill came. A single shot cocktail is about twice the price of anywhere else in town, like what you expect to pay in Chicago, not Green Bay. Nice location with views of the sunset over the Fox River. Interior is not acoustically friendly so it’s a little loud if you are trying to enjoy a peaceful dinner. We will come back for the food but will not order drinks next time.

We have gone to Studio 1212 several times. Unfortunately they just cannot get the service right. It should not take almost 20 minutes to get a drink after you order and have the waitress come back to check if you need anything. All of the staff is mediocre at best. It is unfortunate because the food is very good as well as the atmosphere.

Was hesitant to try after viewing from the outside (a bit tough to find down the street, with little to no lighting near river for parking), but was very pleasantly surprised after meeting friends for dinner and drinks. Place was "hoppin" upon opening in the early evening. Absolutely LOVED the food. Edamame had a delicious seasoning. Fries were drizzled with pamesean & balsamic and were yummy. Salmon avocado toast was INCREDIBLE, and the seasonal pumpkin marshmallow panini (dessert) was also tasty. Wines were a little pricier, and although I had a good cabernet, enjoyed the red blend wine more. A new favorite place when visiting Green Bay! Definitely returning, and have already recommended this cool little venue to friends and family.

Very disappointed! From the minute we arrived they told us it would be at least 45 minutes for appetizers because they “had a large party and were extremely busy”. There was one party of 8 people but otherwise not busy at all. There was several open tables. Ordered a charcuterie for appetizer and it was awful. There was nothing to it and the fruit on it was brown and soggy. For my meal i I ordered a well done burger and it came blood rare. The waitress said “I don’t work in the kitchen”. Was brought out another burger and it was also rare. Wanted to order dessert but again was told it would be 30-40 minutes as they were “so busy”. Not a good experience at all.

Patio had a nice atmosphere, can't say anything about the food because we were seated for about 25 minutes without a server even acknowledging us. Waitresses brought multiple drink orders to the same table next to us, and even took the time to help the party take group photos without so much as saying hello to us. I've never walked out of a restaurant for poor service before this.
Menu looked good though, and the prices seemed very reasonable. Maybe this place is okay, might give it another shot one day.

We were seated outside because we didn't have a reservation. The outside patio can definitely use some improvements. The inside vibe is not warm and cozy but contemporary and trendy. Hopefully patio redo will be part of future plans as this restaurant is really popular. The menu has so many delicious choices it was hard to choose. Drink menu is awesome also.. Our waitress was amazing. Wish I could remember her name to give her a big shout out! All encounters with the employees were delightful, which probably speaks well for how they are treated by owners/ managers.

It seemed to be kind of a yuppie place or a high end place. I'm not much into wine bars. I would visit again. The tuna brussel sprouts sounded really good. I ended up with the gyro. The gyro I found not having much meat. I would say if you're a hearty eater, this is not the place for you. Small portions for a big price. At Arby's a chain restaurant, I can get significantly more gyro meat for a great fast food price.

I stopped at this place, and it really fulfilled my expectations.

A cozy atmosphere and, from the moment you arrive, they receive you very friendly as you are already part of the house.

The very complete service, a very attentive waitress, pending that you do not lack anything. The food was very good, the drinks were excellent.

not sure where to start with this review….but 1 star is being generous. im not usually the type to complain or leave bad reviews but man, the experience I had tonight will unfortunately make me not come back.

To start things off we came in and it was BEYOND hot in the restaurant which made the experience very uncomfortable. We ordered our first round of drinks and they were fine. We all placed our food order; Greek salad with chicken. The salad was listed to come with tzatziki dressing but it came out with Italian dressing. Then we asked for tzatziki dressing it was supposed to come with and we watched the kitchen staff pour Kraft blue cheese dressing into dishes and bring it out; once again not the dressing it was supposed to come with. There were multiple wilted, soggy and brown pieces of lettuce in the salad as well. Throughout eating those very underwhelming salads we watched the kitchen staff wipe sweat off their heads (due to the extreme heat in the restaurant I’m sure) then proceed to handle food/plates without any gloves or washing hands. The waitress never came back to check to see how we were doing til the end when we were ready for our bill. While waiting for our bills, we finally got our second round of drinks delivered to our table. Those drinks very inconsistent compared to the first round. While finishing our drinks the man behind the bar starts yelling at his staff…I get things get busy and hectic but there’s no reason to yell like that; especially in front of customers

Went to Studio 1212 on a Thursday evening with my spouse. There were four other tables of two in the establishment while we were there. We arrived around 7pm and left at 805 pm. The food was fantastic! Kudos to the cook! I had the Avocado Vegetarian panini and parmesan basalmic fries (although the fries were cold and tasted like they had been left over and doctored up with the parmesan and basalmic, I'll still give high ratings for the food as I've had these here in the past and they really were phenomenal). My spouse had the Ahi tuna and grilled Brussel sprouts. Both to die for. He drank Budweiser. Hard to complain about that.😊 I was vacillating between there various flavors of old fashions. Was trying to decide between the Chai, Pecan and Peanut Butter. Asked our server and she had little enthusiasm for any of them. I'm hoping it was just an "off" night for her as she wasn't engaged in customer service at all. My spouse asked for a side of basalmic and it appeared to be an imposition. She returned once to ask how things were but oddly didn't stay for an answer (thankfully the food WAS so good and we didn't need anything further...) It seemed odd as well that there appeared to be an owner or manager present behind the bar area and not once did this individual approach any of the five occupied tables to check in with his customers. All that being said, I've been to Studio 1212 before and would return again. Great food, good drinks, music that is at an enjoyable level to listen to and yet still engage in a conversation and the the icing on the cake is the view during nice weather. This quaint Cafe is located right along the river. Here's hoping my next visit I get a better server. 😊

Studio 1212 is situated on the Fox River in Green Bay (behind Zellers). We arrived by boat they have very nice outdoor seating area. Inside is open and spacious. This time we sat at the bar drinks were very good there special that night was an Apple Old Fashion. Didn't have one but their Sangria's look good as well. Dinner was Chicken Avocado panini and Ahi Tuna. Everything was very good.

We stopped here to check out the food and the wine. The staff greeted us upon entrance, very friendly. We were allowed to pick our seat. Our waitress was promt and answered all of our questions and helped us decide on our menu choices. The Artichoke dip wqs not spicy as the menu emplys, but eas very tasty with our glass of Riesling wine. My spouse asked for a burger patty to be added on the his Mac N Cheese, which the cook delivered without complications. The Greek Salad was a perfect dinner size fresh salad.

Studio 1212 is a delightful waterfront spot with quaint chic decor and a relaxing waterfront patio.
Great food with good variety on menu and wines and beer to satisfy everyone. The Mediterranean appetizer was a delight and the lamb done well. Great flavors, even with the standard fare. They don't deep fry with a healthier nod done well.

I REALLY wanted to like this place but I came here twice with a friend and we had a bad experience both times. The most recent time we ordered a salad and a sandwich that had avocado on both and the avocado was rock hard. Then instead of covering the meals or comping part of the meals, they gave us a gift card for next time (that we couldn’t apply towards our current bill). We did end up ordering a dessert because we were still hungry, which they offered to pay for but unfortunately that was not good either. We didn’t have the heart to tell them at the time. Lastly instead of them letting us know how much was on the gift card, they left that information out so we went to ask and found out it was only a $5 gift card. Our food totaled over $30. Needless to say, we aren’t going back but we hope the table next time us enjoys our $5 gift cards.

We couldn’t believe the soggy fish and cold fries were $22/plate. A Culver’s fish sandwich for $6 is 100x more enjoyable because it’s actually hot. I advise you try a different item on the menu if you go. It’s a shame... great location along the water.

We sat outside on the patio. Every employee was wearing a mask. The red and the white sangreal was excellent. Plenty of food options to choose from. I had a cracker crust pizza and my wife had the fish tacos both were very good. Very attentive and friendly service made this an excellent experience. Will definitely go back

Always busy...then you know it's good. Food is simple but very well executed. Good quality ingredients. Decent wine list. Shorter draught beer but very decent. Options on bottle beer. In sum can't go wrong with this place. And they have outdoor seating as well.

I love this place. They are always so friendly and considerate. My friend and i are meat and dairy free. They modified two of our entres and were so nice and easy going about it. The bussel tacos we had were amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

Out for anniversary with friends. My sister in law highly recommended. Not sure if you all had an off night last night. Waitress was very slow. Took forever to get drinks and friends salad had way too much dressing, my husband's pasta with shrimp has only 6 shrimp in the bowl. Read reviews and was looking forward to trying.

The concept of this restaurant was just confusing. It's small, for starters. I feel the kitchen is larger than the venue itself. The wine I had was great. The pasta was subpar. The waitress was fabulous and humorous and attentive to our needs, but that was about the only positive. I was with a party of three who requested tuna off their very limited menu. They came back and said they only had one tuna, which totally threw a wrench in my plans. If you have so few entrees, one would expect you have the materials in stock. There was also a 'band' who overtook the room to the point where I couldn't even talk or hear members of my party. I would not return.

I called prior to heading out as I have a six year-old son and wasn't sure if it was appropriate. The phone greeting was wonderful - she noted that it was busy, but my son was absolutely welcome (note that there is not a kid's menu or kid's menu pricing). We were seated and ordered right away. We went to Studio1212 for a much needed date night. The service was slow; but good, and it was ok this night since we were enjoying the night kid-free. We shared a couple small plates and a pizza, and the hummus was tasty and we enjoyed the pizza! Very flavorful sauce and the crust was crunchy. The kitchen will hopefully work out their kinks and learn how to properly get food out in an order that works for tables; ie don’t send everything at once if you wanted to order appetizers, etc. We will go again to give it another try soon. Nice patio area right on the water!!

My wife and I tried it because we had a gift certificate for there, and so glad we did. I had a beer and my wife and a martini before dinner, I got a bottle of wine to go with my tenderloin pasta, while she had a shrimp pasta and they were all amazing. Beth and Mark were great to chat with and extremely friendly and explained everything well. The prices were right on par with the atmosphere. We will definitely be back often!!

A great variety of drinks - mixed, wine, and beer. Staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy chatting with us. I haven't tried the food yet - seems a bit on the pricier side, but also a bit on the fancier side. However the place and people are welcoming. Great spot along the river - can't wait to stop out when it gets warm and hang out on the outdoor patio.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to by far. FANTASTIC food and an even better atmosphere. The owners are so personable and kind to every customer, old or new.
