I absolutely love this place! I have been coming here for yearsss. Several birthdays, special occasions, and a go to place after a long day at work in search of a place to eat that I know won't let me down. I was just there last night again and realized I have never even given you guys the great rating you deserve! One thing that I love about this place is the consistency of fresh and quality food. After coming to this place hundreds of times, I have not had a single bad experience at all! The employees are all very friendly and fast working. Keep up the GREAT work Su Casa Grande! One thing I would like to possibly request that is sometimes a small issue for me is when selling chips and salsas to go, possibly wrapping the top of the salsas lids with plastic wrap because two cups rubbing against eachother in one bag usually pops the lid off of one of them on the ride home. Haven't had any messes in the car yet thankfully but hoping with this recommendation I can prevent it in future forsure. 🙂

If you plan on using carry-out, go elsewhere! The restaurant is close to where I work, so when I found the option to order online on their website, I thought I would try it since I could easily order on an extra busy work day. The ordering process gives the option to choose a day and pick-up time, so I placed the order the night before, knowing my next day was crazy. I received an email confirmation with my name and all my contact info, and when I went to pick up the order, someone had clearly written it out, including my phone number, and left it on the front desk. However, my order was not there, and the manager told me that they don't take orders the day before. Okay, fine, but then why does the website give the option, and why did some employee take the order and leave it there? If it's not an option, they had my phone number, why not call and tell me that? They kept telling me I could a wait, just a little while, for my food, but the manager also kept telling me that if I had ordered on the same day, like everyone else, that it wouldn't have happened. Zero acknowledgement of any error on their part, just my fault for trying to order ahead. I'm not sure how I was supposed to know I was ordering "wrong," when it's clearly given as an option on the website. Apparently the employee who took the order did not know it wasn't an option either, or else, chose to write down an order that could not be filled and did not call the customer to tell them this. I understand if the restaurant can't offer it, but then don't list it. I understand if someone made a mistake, but then acknowledge it. Trying to gaslight and turn the blame back on the customer is just atrocious customer service skills. Won't be returning.

Just left after trying for the first time. Everything was bland. Birria tacos only come with corn tortillas, meat was dry, cilantro shreds & consommé was watery and plain. Carnitas were dry. Beans were ok but the rice was flavorless and dry. Chicken in the fajitas tasted like it was reheated in a corn syrup based sauce, not a speck of seasoning to be found. Beef taco salad was dry and the meat was gritty and greasy, so much that it soaked through the tortilla shell. Wait-staff was friendly. Overall not worth the $130 plus tip for a table of 4 that left more than half the food uneaten. For reference, my mom likes hospital food but did not like this meal at all.

The food, service, and atmosphere was great. Laura who was attending the bar was friendly, fast and quick and she served with my friend and I one of the best Margaritas I have tasted in a while. She offered menus and said we could eat at the bar. The food came very fast and we enjoyed every morsel; although, we could not eat it all because it was so much food. We eat here a lot and the service is alway great and the food also is usually excellent. My wife had Beff steak Rojas and it was fantastic I was not extreamly hungry so I had the tortilla soup what a major disappointment it looked like dish water had zero flavor had about 6 pieces of chicken and a plate with avacado slices cheese and tortillas strips I ate the chicken and the avacado and left all most all of the soup in the bowl. I would highly suggest to take this off your menu I have had better tortilla soup from a can. I really expected a much better soup considering it’s a Mexican restaurant .

Ordered 2 burrito dinners and a chimichonga dinner. The food was not warm,nor hot . The Spanish rice was cold and tasted old. The refried beans were on verge of cool temp. All of the food was bland. When you pay extra for onions, sour cream and cilantro at $1.10 each and none of these brought out any extra taste. Brings the meal to 18.99 for the plate. Not worth going here if your looking for authentic tasting dishes from the homeland. Used to be pretty good, now not so much will take my money elsewhere !

Online ordered my food so I do have a "digital" receipt as well as the bank statement that is currently pending that frankly I'm ready to challenge fraud on. Total order online came out to 68 via my digital receipt. Fine went in got my food was told it was 70.16. forgot to double check and even challenged the hostess because it sounded odd. Got home noticed I was missing something called. Got the same hostess who informed me one of my items was removed from the order and we were not charged for it.

Have been enjoying Su Casa for many years! Visited today for lunch. The hostess, Juliana, happily greeted us and allowed us to choose a table we requested by the window. Juliana was very professional, friendly and pleasant - we felt very welcomed! Our server Rosa was very professional, friendly, pleasant, and paid attention to detail refilling our sodas and periodically checking in on us - excellent service! Wait time for our meal to be prepared was very reasonable. The meal began with a generous basket of warm, thick, crisp tortilla chips with a tasty mild/medium salsa - so good! My husband and I both ordered off the lunch menu. My husband chose the Sizzling Fajitas Guadalajara, which he explained came with chicken, steak, chorizo, with a side plate of guacamole, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and rice. He also had the choice of flour or corn tortillas and chose flour tortillas which were warm and soft. He described his food as being very flavorful. The portion size was large; he ate half and took half home. The cost of his meal was $18.99. I chose the two enchilada lunch meal which comes with choice of chicken or beef and a side of beans and rice. Following a vegan diet, I ordered the enchiladas with a refried bean filling, corn tortillas, and enchilada sauce. I requested the rice be omitted as when asked, Rosa explained it was made with chicken or beef broth. I asked that my meal be dairy free as well with no cheese or sour cream. I added lettuce to my order. My enchiladas were delicious with well seasoned beans, delicious enchilada sauce and lots of fresh, crispy lettuce. The portion size was adequate for a lunch meal. The cost of my meal was $13.99. The restaurant is quite large. We sat at high top tables by the window. There were also regular tables/chairs surrounding the large bar, as well as tables in an area on the other side of a wall section. This restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, large parking lot - no problem finding a spot, with well maintained grounds. Lady’s restroom was clean, Kola Care diaper change station, and is handicap accessible. In the past we’ve enjoyed the patio area which includes a beautiful fire place and strung patio lights. The weather was only 36 degrees today, so we didn’t expect the patio area to be open yet. Will definitely continue visiting Su Casa!

This review is long overdue and I sincerely apologize to them. I had a small Celebration of Life for my dear friend in November. I was informed that they do not take reservations but they suggested I walk in early. I did just that and I can not believe how accommodating they were. They gave us a small private room at no charge, cleared the table so I could put out my candles, pictures, flowers and other decorations. They were there to greet everyone that came in and took their drink order. Once we were ready, they took our food orders and it came fast, hot and delicious. The owner came out at one point to give his condolences and make sure we were satisfied. I also have to mention Kayla and Marisol. They were dedicated to making our night perfect and they did. They whole staff was amazing!
I have also been there numerous times just for dinner with my husband and friends. We have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!

Had lunch with friends here on a Sunday as we had heard good things about it. We arrived before the couple we were dining with and asked for a table on the non-sports bar side of the restaurant, as all the tables were high tables on the sports bar side. We asked for a larger table, but we're denied, being told those tables were for six or more. Okay, no problem, we sat down and waited for 15 minutes before our waitress came to our table, who we told, we were waiting for our friends but wanted to order drinks and an appetizer. She left and never came back until our friends arrived. My wife and I ordered a cocktail, and our friends ordered soft drinks as we looked over the menu. We wanted a casual dining experience and took our time. When our drinks arrived, we ordered a couple of different appetizers and told our waitress we hadn't decided on our entrees yet. She took our appetizer order to the kitchen. We visited and enjoyed our cocktails waiting for our appetizers. The waitress came twice to take our entree orders, so we finally gave her our order while we were still waiting for our appetizers. We waited at least 20 minutes more, but still no appetizers. I ordered another cocktail, which arrived promptly. Finally, after waiting over 30 minutes, our appetizers arrived with our entrees! Our friends told the gentleman from the kitchen who delivered our entrees that we were not ready for them, so he took them back to the kitchen. And to be completely honest, there was nowhere to put them down on the small table they sat us at. After we finished our appetizers, we had to flag down our waitress to let her know we were ready for our entrees. They brought them out, and they were stone cold. They had taken them back to the kitchen, and they sat on the pass until they returned them to us, which must have been at least 30 minutes or longer. By this time, I had had enough, but our friends said let's just eat and leave. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had in a very long time! Food, what was hot, was mediocre at best. The shimp ceviche was horrible! The atmosphere was outdated and drab. The sevice was lacking in so many ways. I guess if you want to come here and get drunk watching the Packers play where you wouldn't notice the low quality Mexican food, then you would maybe enjoy this place, but I seriously doubt it. There are way too many great places in the area that would most definitely be a better option. I would avoid at all costs. We will never return!

This used to be our go to spot for sit down Mexican. Always have good margaritas and yummy food buttt it’s been changing lately. Prices for a rice and bean side is double compared to other places and taco Tuesday isn’t really worth it anymore. Our last disappointment was ordering “pico” that was very soupy tomatoes, lime and jalapeño with a handful of onions, it was really sad and had to be doctored up at home with more onion. It’s a loud bar with beautiful atmosphere, it’s just not our favorite anymore. They seem to be catering to the locals which is fine, Waukesha has plenty of cheaper authentic places.

Haven’t been there in a couple of years, used to be our go to mexican restraunt, always busy usually a wait. Went recently ordered drinks, waitress got wrong, ordered food, came out wrong and food was barely warm. Did not include sour cream, asked for some. Waitress brought out1 oz plastic cup, ok thanks. Charged 1.09 for the sour cream. We were there at 6:30 on a Saturday night had to be 15 chairs open at the bar, I said that this is not a good sign even before getting drinks or food. I do not know what changed, but just not the same unfortunately.

Haven't been here in a while but I know for a fact they did not put the lettuce and tomato inside the burrito it was always on the side or on top. Usually you didn't get much of the lettuce|tomato so I ordered extra and was charged $1.90 for little extra that I didn't use because the meal was bad!! Everything on the plate was served luke warm and didn't come back any warmer after I asked them to heat it up please.. I had the beef burrito and the beef had absolutely no taste to it it is not seasoned beef at all. Had a few bites of everything and when I complained about the temperature and the lack of flavor in the beef All they said is they've never had a complaint. I did not ask them for anything other than my check and believe me they didn't offer anything either!! I used to come here a lot I moved out of state and was excited when I was in Menomonee falls they really gone downhill. No customer appreciation at all!! My bill for one person came to $34 for one person with only one margarita. Wonder if there's anybody out there that has had sucasa's burrito without the lettuce and tomato on the inside just curious.

I’ve been coming here for years and in the last year they have started to nickel and dime for every little item. This most recent experience from yesterday was the worst yet.

First we ordered a full pitcher of frozen margaritas for 3 of us. This has always filled up 3 glasses to the top two times, so 6 glasses in total. This time our waitress started to fill the glasses up before it got the table which was odd. Well when we went to fill up the glasses for the 2nd round we were short an entire glass worth of margaritas. Seems like they’re shorting the amount served now as well.

Then we order food and one of us had a burrito which always came with lettuce, tomato, and cheese on this side. This time it wasn’t included and when asked for it they brought it out except didn’t tell us that they charged $1 for each, so $3 in total. Really, charging $1 for lettuce? I also ordered a cup of house hot sauce that used to be in a container 3x the size and it was free. Now it served in a thimble sized up and I’m charged $2 for it.

Overall extremely disappointed in where the owner is deciding to take the restaurant. Assume every extra item will be a $1 charge at a minimum. And watch out for them shorting your pitcher of margaritas.

I just had the worst dinner experience with Carmen I've never had a server that was so inattentive.
We had to practically beg Just to get our water glasses filled She never checked to make sure our food was OK we asked for some spicy salsa and charged us for it without disclosing the additional charge. Same thing happened with my relative asking for some sour cream. If something is going to be an up charge it should be disclosed. When we asked about it she got snotty with us. She had an opportunity to make the situation right and failed due to poor communication. While we were getting the payment together, she made sure to hover over the table to get the money. Worst experience ever!

Good and popular place for mexican food and drinks. Love there Burrito Verde that they have with shredded beef. A little pricey there but, nowadays it's like that all over. Better than a lot of other Mexican Restaurants out there.

We have eaten here many times and the food has been good. This time the food lacked flavor. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce, pico and queso was watery tasting, enchilada sauce was bland, and beef tacos lacked seasoning and no cilantro. Sad when the mexican coke was the highlight. Wouldn't return based on this visit.
