Food is always good. Place is usually cleaner than most subways. Service is good most of the time unless the regional manager, Mike, is there. He is never as friendly as the rest of the staff and honestly makes me quite uncomfortable.
Amber and Shayla always bring a smile to my face when I go in to visit with their exceptional customer service☺️

I gave the lady my order, she asked 6 inch or foot long. I said 6 Inch. When she passed it down for toppings I noticed it was a foot long. So I said I'm sorry that's supposed to be a 6 inch, boy did she get mad!
She bellard back " I ASKED YOU IF YOU WANTED A FOOT LONG YOU SAID YES"
ME: 😳Ah no, you asked if I wanted a 6 inch or ft long and I said 6inch.
Her: NO YOU DID NOT
Me: You don't need to be rude, but I did say 6 inch.
Her: I AM NOT BEING RUDE, YOU SAID FT LONG. (Continually yelling at me very loudly) in front of other customers in line.
Me: I did say 6 inch, I'm sorry you didn't hear it, you.....
Her: JUST STOP, STOP RIGHT NOW OR I WILL REFUSE TO GIVE YOU ANY FOOD!
Me:😲.......watching her cut my sandwich in half and toss it down the isle......I did not say anything else paid for our meals and left. But you best believe I will NEVER go back there again!

10-8-23 @ 1130am NOT FRIENDLY TO PEOPLE OF COLOR DO NOT VISIT THIS SUBWAY LOCATION IN BLACK RIVER FALLS WISCONSIN I don't recommended this subway at all soon as I walked in the atmosphere definitely changed. Started to place my order and was instantly mocked about my choice of meatballs and to add Bacon and jalapeño peppers..... i ignored it the first time moved on the next lady was even worse smirking and very rude asked her please can she wrap the 2 half's of the sub separately, she ignores me, I'm like ma'am excuse me helloooo. At that point i knew what it was I told her you know what you and your Co worker have Been hostile towards me since I walked in this place. Tell you what, ill go someplace where I'm appreciated keep your sandwich i don't want it. IF YOUR OF COLOR DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE SUBWAY IN BLACK RIVER FALLS WISCONSIN

7/6/24 @ 11:30 am I place and order for a footlong Philly cheese steak. The first young lady was very kind. The second lady that completed the meal was very very rude and unprofessional, an older lady. She gets my sandwich, doesn't ask if I want oil or vinegar or salt and pepper. She just wraps the sandwich up walks away. I told her 3x I'd like a combo with chocolate chip cookies. She doesn't respond. She goes to complete the next customers order. I say to her again ma'am id like a combo. She says why didn't you ask in the beginning. I say ma'am I did 3x. She responds well I didn't hear you.I Say 2 chocolate chip cookies. She then ask do you want chips. Again I state, ma'am id like 2 chocolate chip cookies. She says you can only get 2. I say ma'am that's what I said 2. She then slings the cookies to me instead of placing them on the counter. She then ask would you like a drink. Ma'am I just said 5x a combo. Dosen't the combo come with a drink? She proceeds to tell me what other customers request. I said ma'am you work in customer service you're rude and unprofessional. She throws the cup on the counter. As I'm explaining what happened to my friend that's paying for the food she's screams "WHATEVER!!!" Really loudly in front of 5 other patrons. Like I did something wrong to her.

I think it's ridiculous that you are giving 2 pinches of onion on a 12 in sub since when can't I have my sub that I'm paying 13 dollars for with as much onion as I want never had this problem at any other sub way and I'll never go to this one again

June 8th 2024 around 1pm.

The manager was very friendly but the worker adding the toping was overly rude when making the sandwiches. It was a 4.5 star review prior to toppings. Subway is never light on toppings. This woman was putting one piece of onion at a time. Kept having to ask for more. Smallest light subway foot long I’ve ever had.

Friend ordered a special sandwich. She didnt know how to make it. Asked him to repeat the menu ingredients of the board. Other two workers were great.

On 5/22/24 At approximately 5:15 pm a senior class trip was on it’s way back from Wis dells stopped at this subway as we have been doing for years but today we were told “Because you didn’t call ahead we won’t serve you “ now mind you there is also a Taco John’s there also there was a total of 28 students 2 chaperones and a bus driver and we were the only people there so most of the students went to TJ’s as the subway employees stood there with no business watching us What kind of business does this kind service at a major intersection on a freeway. We won’t go back as a bus driver I will find another place that will take better care of us

Never Again will I go to this Subway
They dropped my sandwich pulling it out of the toaster. Then they had to remake it which took forever. They gave less meat and cheese as prior. When they got to the vegetables she gave 4 cucumbers, asked for more and she said we could only give 1. Other subways give double that. One of the ladies who was ending her shift checked us out before the sandwich fell so when they finally got it done we could leave. We paid however when we got the sandwich the lady who made it glared at us for leaving even though be paid. They didn’t even have flatbread even tho 4 people asked for it and they said it’s not ready even tho they brought a bag of flatbread out 2 minutes later.

Fantastic experience! We called to see if they could make two platters right away…normally Subway requires 12 hour notice. They were willing to make them and have them ready in 20 min!!! They were amazing.

Arrived here around 8:25, and the employee was working by herself. We stood in line for a few minutes and after she finished up with the group in front of us, she closed all of the windows, and told us she was “too busy” to get to us before her close (9PM). I kinda just looked at her confused, and she continued to continue to work in her register… honestly overall just a weird expierence.

Bread was sooooo soggy from all the dressing. Subs were like soup, couldn’t even taste anything besides the dressing. The other sub They literally threw it in a bag so had to piece a sub back together. We called & they didn’t even care to be honest. Unfortunately Would never recommend…. Stopped at 4 pm on Saturday 31st. They were completely out of bread. Had a 6in Wheat looked old, sitting on their shelf. Asked the counter person who was a girl, if they had more bread, she said nope, and that was it. Very disappointed on the service and around dinner time and on a Saturday, to be out of bread and not making anymore really made me mad. I will not stop there again.

Last two times I've been here my orders have been messed up. First time they didn't make any of my sandwiches right ordered chips and didn't get the right ones or a cup when I asked. This last time ordered online again and my order was correct but no love put into the packaging of the sandwiches just thrown in bags not wrapped and squished where everything is a mess I've ordered this same order for a long time never been told before that melts get put into bags. Only once have I felt someone was less than pleasant, but EVERYONE can have a bad day.

The subs are the best! I WOULD like to be able to get ½ the amount of tuna & ½ the amount of turkey without having to pay for DOUBLE meat - like Pizza Hut when you put 1 meat on only ½ the pizza..... 😁

Otherwise, it's definitely in my top 3 restaurants in Black River Falls WI!

Got a veggie delight sandwich. I asked for avocado and he mixed the chunk of tuna that had fallen right into the mix and on my sandwich. I’m a vegetarian and he didn’t even attempt to take it out. At the end I asked for very light vinaigrette and he put a large amount of sweet onion dressing on. Enough to drip a puddle out of the sandwich. On top of it all the veggies were skippy. All I get is bread and vegetables so you’d think there would be a decent portion at least. Not impressed.

Certain employees look like they only have a nodding acquaintance with soap and water, their clothes look like they haven't seen the inside of a wash machine in months!! One in particular did nothing but complain about customers coming in ...ummm, isn't that what you're there for?? Poor quality and service.
I ended up finding brown hairs on my foot long right after ordering it. The hair was inside of the bun and a bunch of small hairs on the bottom side of the bread. Completely lost my appetite. Did not receive an email back after my complaint to the store. Definitely don’t plan on returning.

Awful! Took 10 minutes before I asked Taco John's if someone was working the Subway counter for 2 kids to come out from the back. I asked for the new ciabatta steak and garlic aioli sandwich. They didnt have the ciabatta so I ordered white, no big deal. I paid for my meal then finished ordering my sandwich to find that they didnt have the garlic aioli either. Ended up getting the chipotle sauce, which in the end wasnt the sandwich I wanted at all. Felt I shouldn't have had to pay for my sub, but didnt ask for service recovery as the 2 employees now had a line and seemed overwhelmed. As a manager in the hospitality industry, I recognize being slow is hard, but taking inventory of your stock so you know what you have on hand when a customer asks (instead of making excuses on demand), stocking the chip racks (which were empty) and having someone present at the front to greet/acknowledge potential customers should have been what the employees were doing, instead of sitting in the back. Not impressed and will not be returning.
