This is the second we have stop at this subway and we will no longer go back. The manager needs to know what happens when they are not there.

First time they were closed at 5 pm on a Friday- employees were in there - but doors locked.

Other time we stop there on a Friday night (we hit this subway on our way up north) drive through was closed as employees were doing splint runs - timing each other on how fast they can run

Tonight- Friday night - sign is not lite up so it looks like they are closed - tried the door and they were open only to find out everything is put away and they only have wheat bread available.

Just ridiculous

Google Maps showed the FLBOGO code to buy one footlong and get one free. We tried to order on our way here, but the website kept changing the pickup location on us. Once we got here, we tried a different device and were able to pick the correct location. However, the app would not accept payment. It cancelled out at first, and subsequent tries presented an “oops” message. Failing this, the employees could not help us and honor the deal. We tried again, but it ended up past 8:30 and the system would not let us try to place the order anymore. We wasted over a 45 minutes on this process and ended up with nothing. Fix your systems, Subway, and train employees on how to enter discounts or always have a manager on site.

I tried to use a subway gift card at this location (a feeding America gift card good to be used at 6 different restaurants) I was told they couldn’t take this gift card and have never taken this kind gift card. Why put subway as an option? The girls working the register won’t even try to use it. I won’t be returning with the poor service.

I go to deforest subway often and I've never had a problem but today Lisa was the rudest lady I have ever met! Told me my options were white or wheat and then continued to be so rude and not even ask me what I wanted on my sub or let me speak... I was waiting outside for the store to open, which I had no problem doing. At 8:00AM the lady working, Dawn, unlocked the doors. So I proceeded to get out of my vehicle and walk inside. The second I get inside, Dawn says to me in a very disrespectful manner that they are not open yet. So I asked if she wanted to re-lock the doors and unlock them again when she is open. (But realistically it was 8:00AM, the time they are scheduled to open, and she is the one that unlocked the doors.) At this point in an even more angry tone she asks me if she wants me to have her drop everything, stop opening the store so she can help me. I simply said, “No. But I sure don’t appreciate her attitude. To which she replies with, “we’ll go somewhere else then!” Again, in a not so very nice way. So I go outside to my car where my brother was sitting in the passenger seat and he asked me what’s going on. I told him what had just happened, so he decided to go inside and try to talk with her since he is a GM at a chain restaurant and he can possibly get a better understanding of where the issue is. So he goes inside and immediately asks for her name so he can talk to her by name respectfully. And after stating she was the district manager and her name is Dawn, she starts yelling at my brother saying that I came in before they were open to which my brother replies with, I work in the industry and I couldn’t imagine having a job after talking to customers like that. To which she demands he get out of the store as well. My jaw dropped. I couldn’t believe what happened. I understand people having bad days. But this was way over the top and for no reason. I don’t care what your title is in the company. But you would think the higher up in the company someone is, the higher the standard they would hold for themselves. Again, she was probably having a bad day, but this is still unacceptable.

Not sure if it was an employee or a manager that yelled at me when I came to pick up my to go order. Ordered on the app & all fountain sodas are “OUT OF STOCK” so I couldn’t pick out a soda. Obviously fountain soda isn’t out of stock, I believe it says OUT OF STOCK when they are out of their small sized cups. I clicked to have chocolate milk as the drinks with the meals being there is no up charge. I paid to “make it a meal” so that includes the cookies AND A DRINK. But being that I couldn’t order any fountain soda, I chose milk. When I went to pick up I was yelled at that I have to pay extra to have a fountain soda when I attempted to grab soda cups. Make it a meal includes the drink, it’s not my fault the app says your soda is out of stock. I paid for the drinks whether it’s chocolate milk or a fountain soda, there is no price difference. I couldn’t believe the way this staff member approached me and yelled at me in front of everyone. Zero professionalism, above and beyond inappropriate way to talk to a customer.

Came in today at about 11:50am on a Friday…walked in and there was about 12 people ahead of me. They had 3 employees working. All 3 women behind the counter were pleasant and moving the line along as fast as one could expect with that many individual sandwiches being made to order. Being an adult and a rational and reasonable person, I expected to wait a bit before I would get served and get my food.

All said and done, the sandwich was worth the expected wait. The service industry often has unrealistic expectations thrust upon it and the workers often get the brunt of it. Todays experience is why I will continue to frequent the DeForest Subway (can’t say the same about others necessarily)

Used a gift card today. Haven’t been to Subway in a long time. Was very disappointed with meat quality. I ordered a cold cut combo and when I got home and tasted it. Funny taste to it. Opened it up and looked at the meat, the edges were old, gray looking. I took it back and showed it to the manager. She offered me a free meal. I said no thanks and left. I don’t want to get sick. On the way to Milwaukee I stopped here. It was the worst subway I have ever been to. The server was very slow. She overloaded my sandwich with bacon and drenched it in mayo. Visited for an Online Pick-up order today for 2 foot-long subs. We noticed only 2 workers inside with a busy restaurant. Pro: Food was ready on time and a worker came outside right when we arrived for curbside service. Cons: They did not give us double cheese we paid for and sauce was on the warm sub when the note (clearly shown on printed receipt) specified to put sauce on the side. While pretty minor, it would be nice to have associate/s pay closer attention to their work.

Cleanest subway I’ve ever been in. Appreciated the employees were both masked and gloved. Gabrielle and Alex were courteous and made sure that the knives they used were clean and ingredients didn’t come into contact with other ingredients when they cut things for us. This is a fantastic Subway location. I've been here, twice, now, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. In addition to that, the dining area has been spotless both times I've visited. The food has tasted overall good. Yesterday, I ate a Turkey subway on wheat bread and the bread tasted like paper. That's the one complaint I have, so far. Otherwise, the other components of the sandwich tasted great. I'm not sure what the issue with the bread was - whether it was a toasting issue/ingredient issue. That took a little bit away from the overall good experience that I had.

This Subway is special in that the employees were particularly friendly. The restaurant also uses a black pepper grinder and offers a delicious mustard seed condiment (haven't seen these in any other Subway). The sandwich that I purchased was delicious because of these.
