Very disappointed. Ordered 3 sandwiches online and all were incorrect. I arrived before my order was ready and there was 3 customers ahead of me. I saw the worker making the sandwiches. Very very slowly. I would have waited to ask him to remake them but I know I would have been there for the rest of the day waiting.

Haven't been to this subway in a while, now I remember why. The store was empty, but took 20 minutes from start to finish. One one guy working the line and took forever to make a sandwich. The other woman working didn't even step up to assist.

Women's bathroom was out of order with a sign saying use the men's bathroom. The men's bathroom had a chair by the toilet, and it was full of puke! Needless to say, I didn't touch anything. After ordering my food and drink and paying for it, I find there is no ice available. I would have never gotten the drink knowing there was no ice, and I'm disappointed the employee didn't say anything ahead of time. I should have went to McDonalds!

carolyn was completely unable to handle even the basic task of making a sub. no one on staff knew how to make a wrap, and they ended up calling a worker who wasn’t even there for help. the communication between carolyn and paul was a disaster — neither knew what sandwich was being made or what to charge customers. i genuinely felt bad for the trainee, who was doing his best in the middle of the chaos. for a place that’s ‘under new management,’ i expected better organization and service. i wasn’t going to leave a review, but carolyn’s comment to the guest behind us — ‘his accent was too thick, talk slower’ — was beyond unprofessional and unacceptable.

so I've come here a few times and it was fine, a nice older man made subs for my bf and I both times. This time, the young man there spoke his sentences way too fast to distinguish what he was saying. I wanted a baja Chipotle chicken sub and I wanted it toasted. usually they know what to toast, I couldn't understand what all he was trying to say so eventually said just toast the meat and cheese. This guy was nice though, very polite and cheerful. but after the toasting, this very large person with glasses continues my sub. I've seen them here before walking around in back and now I see why they were working in back. I understand building a sub at subway. But I asked to put on what comes on the baja Chipotle sub. they asked "anything else" instead of asking if I wanted the ingredient that, you know, comes on the sub I asked for. I turned to my bf for guidance and HE checks the ingredients for the sub I wanted and says the sauce for them and the pwrson tried to act like it was my fault for not specifying what ingredients come on the sub when thats their job. I've never had a more stressful and confusing experience at a subway. please, enunciate your words and don't let the large person with glasses talk to customers they pmo

Make sure you check your bill! Sent the fiancé there for dinner, got 2-12” subs and a 6” sub and large drink. I entered it in the app and it came to $33 and then I check my bank account and she was charged $42! What a rip off this place is!! Won’t ever be back

Edit: I'm updating this, because it's been a while since I reviewed them. Yes they are nice people there. The issue is is they're so slow and not efficient at all. We were behind a couple others and one was making the sandwiches (which they were getting like 5), but while the one employee was making those 5, the other was just standing at the register ringing them up as they went. He could've helped us instead while the other one was working with the other customers. Cause you don't ring anything up until the end anyways. We waited for 15 minutes then left.

Placed order on line. Came 5 minutes after it was supposed to be ready and there was no order. Six people in line and I was told to get in line. While making my food the gentleman working picked an item off the floor and handed it to another customer, then proceeded to finish making my order with the same gloves on.
If I wanted my food product touching the floor before consuming it I would’ve asked. I’m sure that’s probably unhygienic and disgusting to most.

Finally have some decent people but what the hell is up with taking away all the wraps and leaving Peta bread???? The point if having different flavors of bread and previously flavors of wraps.. is the point is..... OPTIONS AND options please and thank you are all we want. Spend almost 50.00 bucks and bread was so hard on pizza sub dogs couldn't eat it.. They enjoyed my Xtra meat and cheese. And the pita bread is absolutely disgusting bring back atleast Tomatoe/ Basil wrap.. but I would need some incentive to go back. Maybe be secret shopper or something back for 2 different dinners not being anything edible not saying everything but I actually lost more to Subway than the casino the past couple years

I recently visited this Subway on 07/18/24 and had a pretty pleasant experience. The two gentlemen who took care of my order were very polite, respectful, and efficient. There were zero issues with the service they provided. The store’s location and its exterior appearance might not be very inviting, which is unfortunate because it doesn’t reflect the quality of service inside. Overall, despite the outward appearance, the staff’s professionalism and politeness made my visit worthwhile.

I hate to write bad reviews but I feel compelled because I've gotten food poisoning twice from this specific subway location (Eagle River). The first time you wonder if it's really subway because I eat at other subways (Three Lakes, Rhinelander, Wittenburg, all over the state)and always order the same thing. But to get the same kind of sick soon after the next time eating here, I can't call it a coincidence. I hope this location can clean up but I won't be testing the waters again.

I go to Subway a lot at home and on my travels. This one has consistently not been very good. The service is unusually bad no matter what time of the year I visit Eagle River. It has never been very clean and the meat and cheese is slightly below room temperature. I would avoid this Subway. I recommend the nearby St. Germain Subway. It's one of the best I've been to. If this review has been helpful hit the thumbs up and let me know.

I've been there 2 days in a row 2 different employees was not impressed with either. Their customer service pretty much sucked. Food was Mediocre As we ask for a light sauce on our meatball sub and apparently that was too much to ask.And the other sub wasn't much better. I suppose it's better than McDonald's. But they surely need to improve their customer service. Truly surprised usually smaller towns have nice employees. Unfortunate for this one.

Although the sandwiches were quite tasty, the employees were not friendly. I did not feel welcomed to order there and the environment was hostile. When we asked for extra toppings on our sandwich one employee rudely asked “ what else”. Then threw the extra toppings, olives and vinegrette, then proceeded to not cut out sandwich in half fully. After recieving our sandwich’s we asked for a cup of water, and had a cup tossed haphazardly onto the counter almost falling off the counter. The olives we added onto our sandwich tasted like they might have been expired, overall this experience left me feeling unhopeful for humanity. I will not be visiting again and would not recommend visiting.

I have to agree with half the other people on here the owner needs to take time to reach out to local customers and stop relying on the tourists to make his or her money. It's time to make a change and start with the staff. They are beyond hateful and rude. My daughter has a disability and your old lady at the counter wouldn't help her she had to call me crying without a sandwich because she didn't have time to help her. Hold that phone... you didn't have time to help a customer a paying customer becauae they needed a little assistance.

I wish I could say great things about this place however it's just not possible. My wife ran subway for a long time and never did she ever have issues like this one. To the owner I think it's time you evaluate your employees as your have some pretty hateful older women working in your establishment. They do not have a lick of customer service pushing away the residents of the town, those traveling know no better. The young kids just slap a sandwich together with next to zero care what it looks like. My steak had so many onions on it it looked like an entire onion in iitself. It's absolutely no wonder the prices continue to rise because your cost of goods has to be out of this world high. Using gloves is a great thing however how sanitary is it to use gloves in the veggies then use them to touch the cash I gave you and turn around and go back to the veggies. I wish the owner not the manager the owner of this establishment would reach out to me because this behavior and condition has went on far to long. For the sake of this establishment I know it could be ran so much better as well as gain a few more friendly faces and smiles. A hello welcome to subway and a thank you have a nice day goes a long way when your dealing and working with the public. For your employees it's pretty simple if you hate your job that much and hate customer service why choose that path. Take your bad MOJO and go somewhere where customers are not what is paying your pay check. Without us spending money at your place you wouldn't have income please remember that. I used to enjoy Subway and the prices, now it's just another greed driven rip off fast food chain.

The person who made my sandwich didn't toast it until after he added the tomatoes, green peppers, and spinach. The hot veggies was not what I was looking for. If I wasn't pressed for time I would have had him try again.
I will not go back to that location. I also noticed that the prices seem higher than normal. I wonder if Subway is trying to make up for lost sales due to COVID-19.

My dad and I drove from Three Lakes just to get dinner from there since the one by us was closed. We were VERY disappointed that the staff was not wearing masks. Typically where I have lived Subway was a place I loved to go. However in Eagle River there are many times when I go there and they only have 1 employee working. 1 person makes the food, puts on veggies and rings you up. Then then throw away the gloves and put on new ones without washing their hands. The owner should work it or hire people so there are 3 employees. 1 to start the sub, one for veggies and 1 to ring you out. When we pull in the lot and only see one employee we just leave every time. Workers there work hard but can't be happy when they are doing the work of 3 people.
