When I got there, the guy started to help me with my order. The younger lady was more worried about her and her boyfriend’s plans at 8pm (the guy that was helping me). She took his phone out of his pocket and was talking with her boyfriend about what she needed to text someone and was communicating with the other lady about if she could work late so they could leave since they had plans. And was keeping him side tracked instead of seeing if I had anything else to order after the sandwich, I had to say something. I asked for a wrap and the other lady that was there grabbed the flatbread and I asked if that’s what they really use for wraps and she said yes they just roll it? But didn’t make sense since the show actual wraps on the board and I have gotten wraps before. After I paid, I noticed the price of the honey mustard wrap was $11.39 on the board (if I’m remember right, I know it’s almost a dollar difference) and they charged me $12.29 for the roll up flatbread( they called it a wrap).

I ordered twice through the app.

The first time, the app told me that my order was ready. When I arrived; the two workers were sitting down while my order ticket was sitting by the counter; where they started the orders so THEY DID receive it. They apologized though. But .. common... they received it, pulled the ticket and just didn't start it.

The second time they called me that they didn't have any meatballs (that's fine), gave me a second option, but didn't put what I had requested on the sandwich. They both seemed really high on both occasions.

Not worth it.

Owner contacted me right away and made things right. The delivery system is still goofy, and I recommend not using it until Door Dash becomes more reliable in Hayward.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Do not order delivery! It won't show up and they won't refund you unless you want to jump through hoops and come into the store when a manager is working. Should be able to handle a simple refund right away over the phone. Very disappointed in the managers passing the blame.

The worst service ever. Employee toasted bacon only, then became argumentative when I realized she had not toasted the sandwich. Really. Who gets cold flappy bacon on a sandwich. The boy preparing the sub, crumpled up the spinach, literally, wadded it up and dropped it onto sandwich. The most disgusting thing I have ever experienced. The cashier was just there, no communication at all, didn't even slide sandwich across counter. A sad assembly line to say the least.

The girl working gave the vibe she did not appreciate the fact that she had a job. She was outside talking to someone when we got there, it must not have been official sandwich business because he left immediately. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the shredded cheese in the pizza, then it wasn’t cut. So my daughter had to eat it like a cookie. My churro wasn’t cooked through, if at all. I mean it was cold. All and all a fairly lackluster stop that left much to be desired.

Employees are nice and do their job right, but the manager does not know how to run a subway. I ordered one thing and wound up paying for a different sandwich at 1.5X the cost of the one I ordered due to her strange adamancy about the nature of the meats. I love subway but this is why i dont come in here much, i would give it negative stars if i could. The last 2 times I've been in here it been slow. This time was extremely slow and there was no one in front of me. The kid was sloppy with the sandwiches, even drop one in one of the compartment when wrapping them. The phone also rang and he was talk to another coworker or the boss and proceed to have a conversation with them about another coworker for a couple minutes while we waited for him to finish making the sandwiches. We almsot walk out and look back we should of. This is terrible training he should of called them back when everybody left. Even the guy behind me made a comment and said this is why he never come in here. This will be the last time that I will come in here, not worth the price or aggravation.

I recently visited a subway in Hayward, Wisconsin and was lucky enough to have Joe as my sandwich artist. I was blown away by his exceptional customer service and his lightning-fast sandwich-making skills. Joe was incredibly efficient and made my sandwich exactly to my liking. This was not an enjoyable experience. We did a mobile order, and everything about our sandwiches was incorrect. My partner ordered a chicken bacon ranch melt with avocado. The young guy making the sandwich said he didn't know how to grill, so he switched it for a regular italian bread and didn't put avocado or ranch on the sandwich. The chicken or bacon weren't even warm. Was it even heated, my guy? I got a spicy Italian, and when I unwrapped the sandwich, talk about a deconstructed sandwich... all in all, we won't be going back to this subway ever again. They were out of mayo, chocolate chip cookies, and my patience. Overall, it was a complete disaster. Don't waste your time here, go somewhere else.

Was in late tonight, probably 7 cars pulled up about the same time... Me being the second.. the person ahead of me ordered 10 different, all special order sandwiches. I started my order at what felt was an appropriate amount of wait. The 4 elderly patrons behind me didn't agree... Clear irritation and impatientence we're across all their faces. My boyfriend and I are unpleased with the performance of the staff at this Subway. We’re Subway connoisseurs, and acquire sandwiches quite frequently. Although, this time...THIS time was horrendous; as we were confronted with a poorly crafted wrap. Not only was the wrap poorly executed, but there was a major lack of attention between the workers and us customers. The one gentleman asked me 2 or 3 times what I got on my sub at the end. I would understand if it was a busy day, but it wasn’t at all. We are very patient people, but this nearly put us over the edge due to these teenage boys inability to make a simple sandwich and wrap. Despite the communication being horrible, the subs were actually good. But this doesn’t make up for the brain cells we lost during this interaction. We are unsure that we will come back to this Subway specifically, but until then we can only hope that the service drastically improves from now until then.

Whatever you do. DO NOT use the mobile app. They will mess something up 100% of the time. This is the 3rd time in a row that they messed something up. The order strictly says Italian and this is the asiago bread, and they forgot the provolone on the sub only put the parmesan cheese on. Not only that but did somebody eat my veggies on the flatbread? It's the smallest amount ever. Never ever have been reimbursed for their mistakes and will never ever make a mobile order again.

I ordered 6 subs online. I had to call and cancel the 1st order due to my mistake and the guy had an attitude. When we went and picked it up (2 minutes early) he made a comment about we are lucky they got done early. We got 6 miles out of town to the cabin to find out the veggie sub we had ordered had hardly anything on it, it's 80% bread. We called to see what they could do but they wanted us to bring it back. I'm not a Karen but I have beef with this subway. My friend and I did ghe mobile order for 2 footlongs. Ordered at 6:15 ready at 6:40. We got there at 6:40 and there was 4 people inside ordering. We waited for 5 minutes and the lady said the order wasn't ready. She started making them and after they were toasted she left them on the counter for 10 minutes while making others. The order was done after 20 minutes of the specified time. He explained he was sorry for the wait and I said its ok I understand. We went to a park to eat and they put the sauce and veggies on the wrong subs. I called them and said the messed them up. The guy said ok and didn't respond after that. I asked if I could come in and have them remake it. He said no because they're busy but I could come in tomorrow. Couldn't I have just waited in line and had them remake it like I was any other customer? Its the second time my mobile order has been messed up. Last time they didnt toast or cut my sandwich and didn't put the right veggies on it. Other times they didn't make the subs until we got there instead of having it ready by the specified time. And they still messed them up then too. I love subway but I've had a lot of problems.

The poor teenager was overrun but she was doing a great job trying to keep up. I very rarely leave a positive review but when we entered she was busy making subs and when we left she was still busy making subs there should of been a manager or someone there helping because 1 person isn't enough to hold down any great restraunt and we were there for about half an hour and there wasn't a chance for her to breath let alone get any respite which leads to burn out a lot quicker.

One of the males who works there will gladly tell you he is on huber from jail. So when there is only one flavor of bread left at night he says he won’t make more so he’s not late getting back to jail. Why is this person working here if they can’t commit to what the business needs? Also lady named Casandra working there is super rude and snotty. I dealt with her yesterday and she was not happy to be at work. I won’t go back. I’d rather drive to the casino one before going to the one in town.
