i usually get food here at least a few times a month, although the food is standard, i think its important to stay consistent with closing time. it says on the door and on the website that it closes at 10 most weekdays, i can almost 20 mins before closing time and they already had their door locked. disappointing.
if you wanna change the closing time, please change the times instore and online. its ridiculous

If you don’t speak Spanish never order in store.. order online it will be maybe 50/75% correct as far as your toppings.. (never ask bc manager tells you he can’t read it’s too hard) but it’s alright and open on the north side til 10pm

So I order from Subway at least once a month and usually I go to a specific on on high point on the west side because the owner of that one is AMAZING! But I was on the north side today so I went to the Sherman ave one. I have gone here quite a few times and it’s usually always good! Today thought I placed my normal mobile order. I went in and there was a long line and I didn’t have to wait. I went by the register and they moment the workers noticed me they asked if I had a mobile order and the name. I gave it to them and I was good to go!! That is UNTIL I got home and my husband opened up his sub. He gets the steak and cheese with lettuce, onions, and Baja chipotle sauce. Today when he opened it the whole sandwich was COVERED in sauce! It was oozing out as you can see in the picture. The whole sandwich is a pink color and there was Baja chipotle sauce gooped on the white paper cause it came out do the sandwich. I double checked, I did NOT say extra on anything including the sauce. But there is NO WAY this is the normal amount of sauce. I worked at Subway for 2 years, I know the normal portion size for sauce and this was WAY OVER that! I went on the app to try and fill out a survey or get in touch with someone and it’s impossible! Even their “contact us” sections doesn’t have a way to contact anyone! It’s just a list of FAQ’s!!! And there is no survey or anything! I found a Reddit page actually devoted to how hard it is to send feedback for Subway! Most people say the company just doesn’t care about anything! I sure hope that’s NOT true!! But anyway this is the ONLY way for me to give feedback! I would really appreciate a message or something from this locations owner/manager! I don’t complain normally, I have worked in the service industry for over 25 years. I was a trainer at EVERY job I have had in the service industry and a Manager at every job the last 15 years. I would want to fix this situation. Thank you for your time!

This place is Probably the best Subway in Madison. Lots of locations in Madison don’t participate the deals, why even bother to send the flyer to my mailbox? Their subs quality are better than the locations that don’t take the promo codes. I don’t mind drive 1-2 miles for this Subway and when I save on the deal, I tip more to the restaurant. I truly hope they continue to thrive in the long run because they’re doing an excellent job!

it is always the two same guys working there they are always in a rush even if there is no one next in line they ask if i wanted my sub toasted n i said yes,my sub was never toasted and never go there if you have a family order they will catch a hidden attitude. the customer service was okay they have good manners but that’s about it. overall go to a different subway i’ve had my friend tell me they were being made fun of for ordering a lot of stuff,my friend hads a big family to feed!!

Don’t go here if you’re trans.
The person who made my sandwich on 6/25 barely said a single word to me and never looked me in the eye, despite being very friendly and cordial with everyone else. I literally had to ask him what he wanted me to do because he just kept gesturing to the food without telling me what he was even asking.
Every other employee was very polite and helpful, but no way am I coming back if he’s still there

Last night (5/4/24) my roommates and I ordered online and picked up the subs. When we got home and checked them, none were made correctly at all. The philly was missing the peppers and onions; I asked for pickles and spinach and mayo on my Chicken Bacon Ranch, had hardly any pickles (like 3 or 4), no spinach and no mayo; we asked for extra tomatoes and mayo on the club and cucumbers and got only like 4 tomatoes and like 3 cucumbers and at least half of the sandwich had no mayo. I called this morning and spoke to the manager and she said she would review the video and call me back. I called again this afternoon (5/5/24 at about 2:15 pm) and spoke to the shift lead and he accused me of scamming them. I snapped and told him that I only complain if something isn't right. I will never order online from Subway again!!! If I want it done right, I have to go to the store.

This Sherman Ave location has very inconsistent service. I recently tried to order two subs using the advertised BOGO offer. The website was down or was malfunctioning and did not allow us to order at all. I called thinking they would take care of it, and was told there was nothing they could do. The advertised offer could not be honored because their site was down?? That is very poor customer service. Very disappointing.

super incompetent worker…. wouldn’t remake my sandwiches he knows he made completely wrong. Initially i watched him put tomatoes and pickles on my sandwich but i assumed that sandwich was for a different customer cause he acted like he didn’t hear me when i said there wasn’t any tomatoes or pickles on my order. when he told me my order was ready i asked him if he could take the tomatoes and pickles off. he asked if i wanted a new sandwich but i told him that it was okay and to just take the tomatoes off. obviously i didn’t know he didn’t toast or put any cheese on either of my sandwiches. i was patient, respectful, and i even tipped and he still refused to remake my sandwiches when i came back and told him there wasn’t any cheese on them. but gave another customer who’s card declined multiple times a free sandwich. don’t order pickup or delivery. he also took my order ticket out of the garbage to confirm that he messed up…

I’ve been a regular customer at this subway for over 17 years. No matter how busy this shop is, the staff here make the highest quality sandwiches just the way you crave them every single time. Amanda the manager is by far the best sandwich artist subway has ever seen. Her staff are amazing, friendly and have the best work ethic compared to any other sandwich shop I’ve been to in Madison. I look forward to getting my lunch here every day I work. I hope the staff here know how much their customers appreciate them.

Low staffing. Very long wait. Low supplies. They only had wheat bread and no turkey. The solo employee didn’t ask me for an alternative choice but instead stated he’s out of turkey as he placed the last slice on my sandwich then proceeded to finish with ham.

Typically have issues with subway. But today was an icing on the cake. One sub I ordered was not even wrapped, just but in a paper bag. Also, I put down to add lettuce to one of the subs in the comments because it wasn't a veggie option and I know you typically don't "toast" veggies (been going to subway since I was a little kid) and when I received my sub. I didn't have lettuce and there was a written note stating that it wasn't an option because lettuce doesn't toast well. It has always been custom that the only thing that gets toasted is the bread, meat, and cheese if the customer wants it that way or the meat needs to be put in the toaster oven. I myself have worked in food service, especially a business that literally makes only subs.

Very friendly staff, my server was very nice and friendly. He went out of his way to help meand good recommendations. Got a long well with him. Seems like the kind of guy I would play Mario cart 64 with. I didn't get his name but his ID on the receipt is 2367.

Can't complain about the food. The soda machine was acting weird when I used it and when I got home both drinks were flat and disgusting. I had to throw them out. I wish someone had told me if the machine wasn't working before I spent extra money. I was left with no drink for my meal, I could have gone to another store for drinks had I known.

Good food. I like the variety of veggies Subway has to offer as compared to other sandwich places.
The prices have gone up though it seems so more pricey for a meal. A six inch Turkey meal was $9 something.
The service was a little slow today. I think there was a new person training. But the staff were still polite and I could see they were doing their best.

Subway never disappoints! Always has and will be my go to sub place! Has many great options and is always delicious, I highly recommend trying some of their sweet onion sauce oil? Not sure what it is just saw sweet onion and it makes any sandwich taste amazing. Prices are fair but I do miss their $5 foot longs but oh well!

Today I went into this local subway to my job to purchase two sandwiches a bowl of soup and some cookies they seemed very rushed and messed up my order multiple times and when I realized what I had got to the car that I had not received my three cookies I went back in to asked for them. A male then forced me to go out to my car to get a receipt for three cookies. When I returned it back into the store for my three cookies keep them repeatedly kept looking at my receipt to prove that I bought three cookies that he not only five minutes ago rang up for me he also continuously stated that he did not ring me up. What ever happened to the customer is always right even when I’m through with my receipts. Worst customer service ever

Food is always good & sub bread is always fresh, but employees never seem to want to be there. Occasionally one will be friendly, but mostly they serve you very "automatically". I continue to shop there only because I prefer Subway subs over other chains, but I certainly don't keep returning because of the service or staff. It always feels very "cold" & uninviting.

A friend and I went in for lunch and both got the same thing. Within 2 hours we were both cramping really bad and felt super sick. I called the manager and nicely explained what we got and just letting her know so no one else would get sick. and she says "hmm thats weird"... seriously unprofessional. and then said "hope your day gets better" ... not anything like thank you for letting us know or we will definitely resolve this thank you for the heads up. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN.
