If I could give this Subway zero stars, I would. The place was filthy from the moment I walked in — trash on the floor, dirty counters, and a smell that made me question every life choice leading up to stepping through that door.
The worst part? The manager. Unbelievably rude, condescending, and clearly miserable. Instead of offering any kind of help or courtesy, they acted like I was inconveniencing them just by ordering food. Eye-rolls, attitude, and short, snarky responses the entire time.
And the sandwich? An insult. It looked like it had been made blindfolded during an earthquake. Barely any toppings, stale bread, and no care whatsoever in the way it was built. I’ve seen toddlers with more sandwich artistry.
Avoid this location at all costs. I left hungry, annoyed, and in need of a shower. Do better, Subway.

So pretty upset on 7/5/25. Ordered on the app. This is the only way to get some of the deals. Placed order got 2 subs and the doritos nachos. Went to pick up they said they were no longer doing the nachos. My husband said you have a sign up right there. The guy responded we had it down but a subway auditor came around and said they had to put it back up or they were gonna close them down, it didnt make sense to me but we just got the big cookie and called it a day. So get home his sub was fine he ordered the ham. I opened my sub up which was a cheese steak sandwich. On the app it ask you to toastthe bun or not, I put not toasted. They did not even heat the steak or cheese up, which is how it always comes, who wants cold steak and cheese and they never put the mayo on it, whick is how I ordered it. My husband called the store, they said it asks you on the app if you want it heated or not and it doesn't not and never has. It is always hot sub. Then to go there to receive s replacement sub, the guy argued with him, they made the sub which was still not right and he asked them not to make the new sub untill he got there and they said fine, but they remade it before he arrived. Anyways he couldn't get refunded unless they have the whole order. Really upset dissatisfied and angry. Food is very expensive and I'm not paying for something I cannot eat and not going to argue with an employee where I know I am right. So rude. All because they wanted to close at 6pm on a Saturday. The worker was very rude and just wanted to close because they weren't busy enough to stay accordingto him. A heavy set kid was in charge.

Update 6/29/25
Still really bad. Placed order online and they canceled my order to close the store early because apparently they ran out of bread. I wouldn't have been mad if they would have called immediately after I placed my order to cancel but they didn't call me until 30 minutes after I placed it and at this point, I drove 15 minutes into town and was 2 minutes out from my designated pick up time. Badly handled.

Used to like this place. Its terrible now. Terrible service, not getting what we asked for on our sandwiches, soggy bread and overpriced. Not to mention the fact that they no longer participate in on the app promotions. Bad, bad food.

This is coming from an ex Subway employee! This subway is so disorganized when it comes to its lunch hour rush. Three workers including the Manager/owner working the lunch rush...they where all over the place hopping over each other, running in the back to stock ingrediencies, asking the customers the same questions multiple times. What really floored me about the entire experience was the online orders!!! Since when do online orders come before the customers standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!! I stood in line for 15 mins on a 30 min lunch break to get to the front of the line to be told" I am sorry I have to make these online orders first". I ordered a 6" sandwich!
Get it together Manager/Owner!!! Here is a tip, have 1 person ringing, 1 person on veggies and 1 person staring it off at the meat station! Work on online orders in between. Stick to your station and things will move along a lot quicker, I promise or get more help!!
I normally don't write reviews but I feel that since I have worked at a subway before this was laughable watching these 3 guys run the lunch hour. 8 people standing in front of you and worried about online orders and the drive threw. Customer service is dying y'all!!

Change your hours. Your hours say open until 9 pm on Saturday’s. A sign on the door said closing at 7:00. We got there at 6:40 as did several other people and they kicked us out. Your closing time is not when you leave, it’s when you stop cooking.

I get off work around 8:30 and wanted a sandwich and have tried to go to this subway two times this week and they have locked the doors before closing time. I got there around 8:40 and the doors have been locked both times. Either change times on google or stay open until when you're supposed to be.

This doesn’t even deserve a star, the employee a teenager was yelling at another employee in front of customers telling him he didnt know how to do his job he was messing things up I kindly addressed him and he started to argue with me he started to raise his voice and threw my change I called after I left to speak to a manager and they refused to give me the number. You definitely dont treat employees let alone customers like this ever especially in the service industry.

I went in today to get a veggie sub. I asked for extra pickles and management told me no and that's all he could put on was a few pickles. I'm also a vegetarian. Stop being so cheap to your customers. Then charge for pickles if your going to be so rude. Calling corporate. Even ur packaging on the sub wrappers say extra pickles. Misleading.

Normally we love ordering from this Subway, but this time 4/6 of our sandwiches were not great. Our first sub was literally smashed flat, two of our subs were completely missing ingredients and the last one was completely wrong to the point where I didn't even think it was ours. If we order here again, it will have to be in person so we can make sure it doesn't happen again.

Definitely not a good experience they have no ability on their app to add a different extra cheese to your subs you can add the same cheese for an upcharge for extra but no different cheese the owner wouldn't let us to put cheese on our subs. He didn't even call to ask hey its an upcharge can I charge it and we will put the cheese on there. Nope no call just crossed it out and made it and that was that. Don't waste your money seriously it's what .30 or. 40 for a customer that literally shops almost every day at your restuarant. Not to mention it was a $30 order.. from one owner to another that is sad..

The 6 inch sub as usual for a Subway is only 5 inches. Bread is doughy. No lite mayo anymore. Cousins is so much better and a better value. And no sliced meat. Must be a slow store with no slicer.

I live in the area so I go here often the staff has always been very friendly and the place is always clean when we go. my husband and I really love to go. The only issues was the boss! This incident made my husband not go back. We went in one day and the boss was working on the floor with the other employees It should be an awesome experience to see because it's so rare to see that happened. When we got to the counter the boss took our order, this is where it goes South, The boss started picking our entire order judging and laughing at us for what we got but we only got 2 subs and my husband and I like to add a couple extra things but not much Like different types of cheese and meat, but I didn't think there was anything wrong with that since it is Subway and you can build your own sub! when I asked him to add a couple extra olives because he literally only put 7 or 8 on my sub (I'm not exaggerating). He told me that, that is how many a sob is supposed to get and I should be grateful and reluctantly put 2 more on the sup. I was literally in shock! And wouldn't stop going on and on about how much his storemakes and how he is a lucky man, overall just being really stuck up and pride full. I have been back a couple times and I haven't seen him thankfully But my husband hasn't been back in several Months. Other than the stingy boss. The other employees that work there are very kind and really friendly. I do recommend this place but I hope none of you are as unfortunate as my husband and I were to run into this awful man.

This is the newer store in Mukwonago WI. just off I-43. Staff was prompt & efficient and food was great. Although, prices have JUMPED up since COVID, and since store moved to new location. Used to be able to get two foot long subs for $15-16 including a $2 tip for employees. Now it's $21. Got to start clipping coupons!

Wish I could give this place a zero. That’s what it deserves. I’d love to tell you the food sucked, like it usually does, but I can’t even do that. I came into the store a few minutes after 8:00 pm. The door was unlocked, the signs were lit up, and the hours said 8:00 am - 9:00 pm. As soon as me and my family walked in, the kid working there, (who was busy flirting with his coworker) told us, “hey, uh, sorry we’re closed. We closed at 8:00 tonight.” After my girlfriend asked why they didn’t update their hours or lock the door, the two of them just ignored us and continued their conversation. Subway is usually bad anyway, but this one you can’t even get anything from. Good work, guys.

First I was told I could not use any coupons. Then the girl waiting on me couldn't throw my wrap together fast enough. I thing she needed to get back to her friends that were sitting in there. This was after school. I asked her to put different tomatoes on as they had alot of the white core on them she took off one and replaced it. For paying for the meats and topping of a footlong I don't think you could have made a six inch out of it. Two subs spend $22.00. Sure hope someone gets her help on how to treat customers. Still debating on if I will go back.

Terrible. Ordered the Supreme meats only to get just ham and salami on it. How are you only going to make half the sandwich? My bread was soggy like the sandwich sat in water. Asked for more salt, pepper, and parmesean and barely got any. My girlfriend got the cold cut and didn't have the extra toppings she asked for. All teenagers there and they were all standing around not doing anything. Will not be back to this location.

There are two boys and one girl there all teenagers. The girl had her hair down and wasn’t tied up, she was a snot to not only me but to my boyfriend also. I asked for fresh mozzarella but she gave me regular mozzarella that they have. My boyfriend ordered a spicy italian and he got the regular amount of salami but only got 3 pieces of pepperoni. We corrected the girl that was serving us and she was gonna charge me for extra when that wasn’t needed. They make the subs wrong too. I worked at a subway and my boyfriend did too. So disappointed in this place. I wouldn’t go to this location again.

Ordered online and email said food would be ready at 5:45. Ended up finally leaving with food around 6:20. None of my order had been prepared when I arrived because, the employee said, they were out of bacon. I told him what we would substitute, but was surprised that the 3 items we ordered that didn't have bacon on them weren't prepared. He disappeared into the back--I thought maybe there was a place in the back to prepare food. After about 10 minutes, he returned, with tuna salad--not something that was part of my order at all. Then he started to make my food slowly. When we got to the veggies, he said they didn't have tomatoes either . . . other employee commented that they start to run out close to closing -- this was 6:00 when store is posted as closing at 9:00. He would have forgotten the guacamole that I paid an extra $1.50 for if I hadn't reminded him. He was not wearing a mask and never apologized for any of the bad service or things they didn't have.

Don't bother coming here 45 minutes before closing. The people here close almost an hour before their posted closing time. In addition the sandwiches are made extremely skimpy to the point where they count the amount of lettuce pieces put on the old bread.

I ordered on line to get foot longs for $5 around 5:30 pm. Order was supposed to be done at 6:20. I got my order around 6:45. There were 2 kids working that really didn’t know much. Avoid this Subway..Very Unpleasant Customer service. I've stopped by this Mukwanago location multiple occasions. In particular the Employee with Pink/blonde hair has a very Snobby Rude & Unprofessional minimum wage attitude problem. Just making a Sandwich seemed inconvenient like I was bothering her. I'm the only customer in the store at the time. It seems like she is very angry at the world. Redicilous! Bathrooms are Filthy Dirty and as unpleasant as the Customer Service. Do Not Recommend..there are many other Subway restaurants that are Clean & Will Appreciate your business...
