Reading recent comments confirmed I wasn’t alone in having a bad experience. Both employees seemed disengaged—one wore an AirPod, the other red shorts—and they rushed through orders at a frantic pace. I hadn’t been to Subway in a while, but the meat selection was hidden behind a stainless steel door, when typically all toppings are clearly displayed.

I ordered the #21 Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken toasted—it came barely warm. When I asked for BBQ sauce (which is in the name), I was told it had been discontinued - very odd. The toppings were sparse, and overall, the quality was terrible. Whether this is due to new ownership or family-run staffing, the service, food, and atmosphere were all disappointing.

I went to subway and order a cold cut trio. The same sandwich that I’ve always order for the last 15 plus years or more and notice that they switched the meat to that little Buddy meat that is very thin. I ask did they change it or Subway and they said they changed it, so they are pretty much ripping off the customers and not to mention when they make your sandwich at this store they have up plastic so that you can’t see when they add the meat. Now I remember why we quit going to Subways! Not too happy by my order. Since I ordered smashed avocado to be put on my sandwich which I had to pay extra for and I did not receive any at all nada. Then I ordered extra steak on a Philly steak and cheese and did not receive that either! We will definitely not be going back there! Lesson learned! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SUBWAY!! the serving sizes are unbelievable!! I ordered online with extra everything and paid extra for it too to see that both footlongs r completely empty!! I was basically just eating bread! There was basically no meat in there at all, 3 tomatoes in the whole footlong maybe 5 strands of onion 4 small pieces of cucumber and a little bit of lettuce. I asked for pickles and they didn’t even put those in there. There was little to no sauce even tho I had ordered 6 different kinds of sauce. Keep in mind I had ordered EXTRA of EVERYTHING. I used to go to this subway all the time before it went under new ownership a few years ago and these new owners (Indians) are vary CHEAP! Since the first bad experience I had here I had stopped ordering from here and went to a different location 15 mins away (on Layton near Meijer, it’s genuinely the best subway and the employees are vary kind and friendly I would definitely recommend that place) although this location is just 2 mins from my house. This place had also stopped accepting coupons but I had happened to be ordering online at my usual new location but saw that this place was also accepting the coupon and the weather was really bad out so I thought id give this place another try instead of driving out 15 mins in a snow storm but it was the worst decision I made. I was vary dissapointed. I don’t normally write reviews but this place deserves less then a 0 star!!

It was great when the old crew worked there, but ever since the owner fired them all and hired his family, it's going downhill fast. It's bad enough that they got rid of some menu items and don't accept any coupons (with sky-high prices), but it's bloody disgusting inside. Ants crawling on the deli counter, gnats flying around the drink dispenser, and a bathroom that you think "I am better off not washing my hands". If that's what's "presentable" to the owner, I'd hate to see what is going on behind the counter. Gross. I just can't recommend this place anymore.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Honestly, I am SO disappointed. When I came here, I was so excited to try Subway again since I LOVED it back in Kansas. My first experience here in Wisconsin 2 years ago sucked, and I was finally going to give it another shot. Well, I wish I hadn’t. I’m so sad. The serving size is honestly a joke. I ordered a six inch white bread with pepperoni and pepper jack cheese. I could tell immediately that they put pretty much no meat on my sandwich. When I politely asked for a little more, she said it would be a double charge so I just gave up right then and there. I had her keep going, only to end up with more lettuce than anything else on the sandwich. If I wanted a salad with a side of pepperoni, I would’ve asked for that. Again, I am just so disappointed. Unfortunately, probably one of the worst Subways I've ever been to. Didn't have any interaction with the staff so I can't downgrade them. But the sandwiches were pretty much like eating just bread. Not to also mention but they look significantly smaller than the sandwiches I normally ever get. I noticed they had a sign on the front door talking about not accepting coupons and the cost of everything going up which I agree with. But I was very disappointed with both of my sandwiches. I normally don’t have a problem with subway.

First thing I noticed was the kid was on the phone not paying attention to me or the customer ahead of me with his ear pod.

Toasted my sub on 6in.

I asked why, I was told that’s the only option.

He put the sun back in and hit a different button so the 12 inch button was not available.

I asked for the receipt at the end. Did not hear me because he was to busy talking on the phone with his earpiece.

I call at the last minute and asked if I could order from the catering section for my grandson birthday as that is what he requested, but I needed it for the next day. The gentleman said sure it would be no problem. I was very impressed. I asked for the veggies and sauces to be put on the side. They had the veggies, which all looked fresh in a box with a container inside with individual sections for all the veggies (also included tongs) and the sauces in individual containers as I requested. Other boxes had the subs I requested and marked what they were and bagged in a very nice handled big bag. Everybody enjoyed them at the party. I will definitely order from the Oak Creek Subway again. The guy behind the counter was rather slow but I could deal with that, what happened next was an issue. I had a gift card that he didn’t apply to my balance. Apparently if you don’t have enough for the full payment they have no idea how to apply it. Not only was that a load of mess it was his response that was the worse. Worst subway I’ve ever been to. Every single time we order on the app they call us to inform us they’re out of bread. Once they were out of the bread of our choice so they changed it to wheat bread without even calling or asking us. They’re always closing before closing time. 2-3 times we went 20-30 minutes before closing time the shop owner locks the store and tells us they’re closing early because they ran out of the supplies.

This location charges more than other locations!!! I asked for double meat which was only one kind and they charged more than what every other location charges. I think that’s unprofessional and I’ll never be back again. I went in to try the new ginger chicken wrap. The clerk knew nothing about it. She didn't know how it should be prepared. In the end she suggested some things and it was aweful! What a waste of nearly $8. Had I known a little wrap was $8, I would have gotten a ginger chicken dinner at an Oriental restaurant for the same price. At least they would know how to prepare it!

When they have specials, don't they train the staff how to serve it? I totally understand the "build your own" concept at Subway, but, apparently, they didn't even have any other special ingredients to go with this new chicken flavor.

I' I could give negative stars I would. Manager at this location is a complete joke. I decided to leave due to poor service. She yells are you kidding me as I'm walking out the store. Actually argued and swore back at me and was confrontational which escalated me into more confrontation. Take your bustedbu elsewhere. Total lack of customer service and communication. My next call will be to their corporate number.

Update:
After my incident I went back and talked to the "real manager" Becky. She told me she watched their video and confirmed what had happened and apologized. She offered me free food which I declined. Afterwards I only go back when she is working whenever possible. The service from Becky is outstanding and truly makes the difference when it comes to customer experience.

The only reason I gave two stars is because the manager (I assume?) who works weekend mornings is always wonderful.

But I will never come back. I went in today around 7pm. I worked at Subway for 3 years and know exactly how easy it is to make these sandwiches. I was one of two customers with two employees behind the counter. The girl who helped me legitimately made my sandwich with one hand. At first I thought maybe her other hand was injured or didn't work, but she did use it to wrap and package the sandwich.

When asked for spinach she put two leaves (yeah, I counted, I'm petty) in the middle of the sandwich. She completely doused the sandwich in mayo to the point where it seeped through the paper. No smiles, no eye contact, and she was looking out the window most of the time that she was making the sandwich instead of actually looking at the sandwich. Never again.
