My first experience at the Union Grove Subway was fantastic. I had never been to this Subway location before, but I'm sure I'll be back. I was a little surprised at other online reviews for this location because my experience was great.

We wanted to order a couple platters of miscellaneous sandwiches for 13 people. We called around 12:30 PM on Saturday to place the order and were told it would be about 45 minutes to get everything ready. We walked into the store around 1:10 PM to find that everything was ready for pickup. The inside of the store was clean and the staff was very friendly. We were very pleased to have such quick service over the lunch hour.

We ended up getting two custom sandwich platters and two topping trays that included onion, tomato, pickles, green peppers, jalapeños, etc. I regret not taking a picture of the topping trays because they were beautiful.

We ended up with plenty of food for the 13 of us and had many of the vegetables left over for use in a breakfast casserole the next morning too. Everything was delicious and fresh. We'll be back.

Apparently Google only lets you leave one review so I'm going to add to this one because I didn't learn my lesson the first time. Worst sub sandwich I've ever bought in my entire life. We ordered two of their Series Club Subs. There wasn't enough meat on them to even know there was any. I literally had to open the sandwich to see if there was ham turkey and bacon in there. There was only ONE MICRO THIN SLICE OF EACH MEAT. Pathetic. I now know why it's called Subway because they sell sub par sandwiches. If anyone reads this before they order, close the app and order from Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's, Cousins....ANY PLACE OTHER THAN SUBWAY.

Why, in the middle of July, would you be putting pink tomatoes on sandwiches and salads? Don't you know it's unnecessary, unacceptable and a ripe tomato adds great flavor? Terrible and bland.

I ordered a deluxe sandwich. 1.5x meat. The “sandwich artists” said deluxe multiple times. I did not get 1.5x meat. I got 6 PIECES of each meat and the short was intentional. Double check they’re work or give your money away.

I believe the owner was working that day, he smelled pretty weird, and I heard he was paying managers 7.25/hr. The meatballs get held on for too long and are dry. The bread is not tossed out on time and makes it soft, chewy, and hard to eat. I will never be going to this subway again.

So haven’t been a subway fan for years, but was craving a sub. I ordered the Great Garlic, not good. The rotisserie chicken that comes on it looks like baby food and close to the consistency of it. Half of the sandwich was warm from being toasted while the other half was still cold. Staff was nice so that was the only plus side.

I ordered two sandwiches one was a pizza sub and one was a tuna sub. The pizza sub was not toasted as requested. The tuna sub was toasted. I had to ask for the chips and they forgot my soda. Then they said I had to come back I said I wasn’t coming back and I wanted refund when I do come back and that was not an option given.

We found that the level of service, quality and satisfaction is HIGHLY dependent on the time of your visit. Last week we bought two sandwiches for a late dinner (about 7:30pm). They got the order wrong and were VERY stingy with the ingredients. The entire staff were like zombies, just going through the motions (poorly) and the ingredients bins were almost all empty (maybe they didn't feel like bringing out more only to have to put them away in an hour or so??). Later in the week we figured we'd give them another try. This time, lunch (around 12:30pm). They were fantastic!!! The lady at the register could not have been more friendly and the whole crew was upbeat and customer friendly. The sandwiches were made very well and were delicious. The difference in the two experiences was striking. A STRONG five stars for the lunch crew - a generous one star for the evening crew. Averages out to a 3 star rating.

Waited in the drive thru a little too long for 2 blts. So I stopped to look at the subs. It looked like they stepped on the bread threw lettuce in the air and tossed in a bag
The kicker was the hair. So I took them inside. I asked for a refund. She was willing to remake them but I lost my appetite seeing how careless they had been made. She called the owner Mario. He refused a refund. I asked her to call him back and she had him on the line again. He was too much a coward to speak to me. He told his employee she would be fired if she gave me a refund. The poor girl begged me to let her remake them. So I agreed because I was not getting anything else. She did remake them. In front of me. She said she wouldn't have eaten the ones from the drive thru either. She gave me marios name and phone number. Im trying to reach cooperate now with no luck. But don't worry I will get someone to hear this complaint. BbB will also be notified. What a horrible buisness. Dont let your kids work for him!

As a union grove citizen I have been to the subway only once, why ? The reason is for when I went I went with my girlfriend and ordered a sub. Some creepy tall dude I think his name was Jonathan he was hitting on my girl friend who was 16. The worse part is both of are subs were messed up and when we tried to get them corrected they gave me attitude and mumbled a swear word at us. The tomato’s also tasted rotten and I gotten a stomach ache. Would not recommend.

You are better off eating anywhere else than here. Subway isn't great food to begin with but this location takes it to the next level. The owner is obviously very cheap based on the lack of staff and directing employees to use the bare minimum of ingredients. I ordered a chicken and bacon wrap and they filled the brown warming tray less than half way with chicken. Then when it came to get toppings I asked for cucumbers and received a mere two slices. This was the same for the tomatoes. They skimp on every single topping and even the meat and cheese. Not to mention they have a no coupon policy and pay employees dirt. The employees are encouraged by the owner to ask for tips instead of him paying them more.

You would think with all this they could at least afford decent ingredients but that is not the case. The lettuce was brown like it was sitting out for days. I watched as they piled slimy spinach on top of another person's sandwich which is a tell tale sign that the spinach has gone bad. The banana peppers were pale and discolored. The tomatoes were soppy and lifeless. All their topping bins had no covers which let all the vegetables slowly rot. Service was extremely slow and staff were just going through the motions.

The wrap I received was the most unappetizing, disgusting excuse for food that it was better off in the trash. I could not even finish my wrap but I will say it did satiate my hunger because it made me lose my appetite.

Where do I even begin, after they couldn’t find the kids cup they asked if I would like something else I asked for the next smallest size of soda which was the 20 oz which was fine. Then instead of charging me an up charge for the soda they charged me for a whole new soda. then after I pay they said they already made the kids soda and she didn’t know she said she guesses I can have this one for free which i already paid for with the kids meal since she charged me a whole new soda. After approximately 20 minutes of waiting we got our food. They had put no joke 2 slices of ham and the two other subs were not cut, cold and also had next to no meat, just when you think it can’t get any worse the breads hard. This would be maybe a little more understandable had it been busy but we were literally the only car. I would highly recommend avoiding this subway and going to the dairy queen right next to it since I have yet to have a problem there .

I frequent Subway quite a bit and order the same wrap everytime. I have been to the Union Grove store before and have not had any issues. Today in the drive thru, I ordered two wraps; one with a different cheese and one without tomatoes. Simple difference, but one wrap was so terribly rolled up, it was all tortilla and only half the size of the second sandwich. I was absolutely disappointed because I paid eight bucks for a subpar product. Lastly, the person who rang up the order had zero people skills.

Steak sliders were extremely good for the price, the two young gentleman who made my sandwich were awesome in customer service with a smile, down to the lady at the register, they all had smiles and we're so polite, it means a lot to us in the trades who are so use to attitudes and poor service daily. After the steel toes come off it was nice to sit down and enjoy a quick bite after such a long day. Definitely made my night better and easier to go home to the wife and kids with no bad vibes, thank you Subway Union Grove for having such awesome employees!

Was accidentally charged for things I didn't order or receive. Wasn't upset just didn't want to pay for what I didn't get. Went in and asked for a refund and was treated like it was a huge inconvenience and ended up leaving without it because they were majorly understaffed and the kid sat there and acted like he didn't even know what to do and my sandwich was in the car getting cold. Won't be back again.
