Positively the WORST customer service I had ever been subjected to at a Subway.
The young male server with a scruffy goatee told me I could not have the extra lettuce I requested on my turkey salad and then proceeded to give me three times more spinach then i wanted and was very surly about removing the spinach. I asked him to replace the removed spinach with more iceberg lettuce and he said he could not or i would have to pay extra.
I said I had no problem with paying extra and then he said he could not do that because the computer/till was not set up to charge for individual/extra ingredients.
He said he could only put the standardized amounts of any ingredient on my salad and became very surly. Now he was arguing with the customer
Then he made some conflicting illogical comments about a limited number of ingredients allowed....now confusing me about number vs quantity....and it got worse, from there.
I understood the Covid restrictions that were in place a few years back, limits due to pipeline supply issues, but this server was rude, abrasive, punitive and aggressive beyond belief - and we are NOT under Covid protocols or the accompanying economic conditions, to my knowledge anyway, anymore.
I told him I traveled from Missouri to Wisconsin often and had never encountered such hostile service at any Subway as this, my hometown one.
He said each franchise is different. Our local Culver's gets excellent reviews for customer service and they encourage a customer to "have it their way." Sure they charge a bit more. But the customer never goes away feeling actually insulted for spending their money there.
But to have conflicting policies where the customer always loses, and gets insulted by rude servers, is NOT, I would think, what any manager wants to put forth in a small, close-knit community where word DOES get around. At least train your employees in civility!!

Regrettably, my recent visits to Subway have been quite underwhelming. The staff seemed disengaged, merely going through the motions. Unlike previous occasions when I was offered additional options for my sandwich, it appears this interaction has changed. The overall experience left me feeling like Subway has become nothing more than an overpriced sandwich chain. Consequently, I'm inclined to support local businesses moving forward, seeking a more genuine and satisfying dining experience.

Bathrooms were very dirty. Pink ring in toilet which clearly means it needs a good scrubbing. Sink has gunk around drain so I'm sure that hadn't been cleaned either. Floor was sticky and my feet stuck to it. Napkin dispenser was dirty and had food on it. Tables weren't washed.

We put our order through the online app, first time. I did not skip the line! After confirming they had my order I watched two guys make more than 15 sandwiches for at least 5 other customers and waited 20 minutes before I had to say, really? What is happening here? Should I have gone through the drive through? Just walked in and ordered in person? Special instructions were missed; no honey mustard on one and not cut in thirds on the other. Total wait in store was 35 minutes.

You can get any 6" sub made into a salad, yet they cost $14+. How does that make any sense? I went to this location and got a salad. They now put them into the tiny protein bowl bowls, which is just ridiculous. I understand why protein bowls are smaller, because you are focusing on protein, but to make a salad in these small bowls is ridiculous. You get about 1/8 cup of lettuce. I also only got two slices of cheese. I am pretty sure more than two slices of cheese go on a 6" sub. I feel like this location always skimps on everything compared to others. I can literally go to Texas Roadhouse and get a meal for the cost of this tiny salad. Never again!!!!

Last time, they forgot the steak in my boyfriends steak and cheese wrap and forgot my sons chips for the kids meal. We called and were told they'd send a gift card and we never received it.
Tonight we went and got dinner for my whole family.
My father and I both got meatball subs. The meatballs were so old and dry they were hard and just tasted terrible. My dad also only had meatballs on 1/2 his sub.
My boyfriend thankfully got his protein this time but they forgot veggies and dressing.
I spent $60 just to be disappointed again.

I have been to a lot of Subways and I will say my experience has been less than desirable when it comes to the food... However, I have to say this Subway makes up for all the rest. The bread is always fresh and the ingredients they do not skimp on.

I walked into the location on Merrill Avenue at 8:50pm on Wednesday May 25th. I wasn’t even two steps in the door when the girl behind the counter said “I’m sorry we’re closed” as she was removing food storage bins from the prep area.
I said, “But the door’s open and you close at 9:00pm.”
“It’s 8:55.” She said.
She then proceeded to let out the most over dramatic sigh as she started slamming the bins back into place.
Did I come in ten minutes before close? Yes. But when you work in customer service or food service, that happens sometimes.

This location needs to close down until issues are resolved. Drive through takes anywhere from 2 to 35 minutes. Food ordered on app is never made until after you arrive. Never seems properly staffed. I’m done going to this location.

Never fails. Nearly every time I come to this location, at least one portion of my order is wrong. Wrong flavor of chips, no chips, no dressing included with my salads, sandwich made incorrectly. Seriously though. Nothing personal against the employees, but they really need to step it up. Perhaps management can spend sometime working with them on attention to detail, and accuracy. I realize every one is human and makes mistakes, and a very occasional error is one thing. But EVERY time?

I ordered online and then did not have the time to pick it up, so I kindly emailed the support for the store to ask if I could have a refund for it since I didn't pick it up, and the manager emailed me saying yes, and then mailed me a letter with a $10 gift card and a coupon for a free 6 inch sub too! The service was great and pretty fast too, but the siracha sauce was hotter than the devil's sweat this time and since every subway employee has their own idea of portion sizes for all toppings (but especially the sauces) whoever made my boyfriend's sandwich went sauce happy while mine was fine but I got different sauce on mine. So since his sub had been drenched in lava sauce this time, it was 100x hotter than he expected and got half way thru his sub when it hit him. I didn't know what was happening to him but judging by the flames coming out of his mouth I thought he was morphing into a dragon but after the sounds he made I thought he was just gonna die. Scariest moment of my life. I thought I lost my man to the sauce. How dare you cause this tragic moment for us.

I like subway food but don't love it, so experience may vary depending on preference. It's always a little on the slow side, the crew is rarely excited or show any sort of personality (which isn't really a focal point, I guess, but is important for me). They aren't always very accommodating. I had a coupon to buy any sub with a medium drink and get the second for 99 cents. I got two footlongs with double meat, double cheese. When I went to pay they said I would have to pay the extra charge for double meat and cheese and insisted this was on the coupon but it wasn't. I had to debate a bit with them before they gave me the deal on the coupon. I'm pretty sure this would happen again so I won't order similarly so that I can avoid unnecessary frustration
