Husband and I split a Cuban and Mac n cheese for lunch as we had salad waiting for us back at the motel. We were blown away by how good the Cuban was, wow! Mac n cheese was good too. Staff was friendly and quick service.
If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. Sad we live 4hrs away and won't be back again until next year, can't wait to try another sandwich!!

I believe Superior Cubans is a food truck kitchen first, walk up sandwich shop second. In an old auto dealership / auto shop, this take-out only shop is open on Friday and Saturday.

The Cubano sandwich was pretty tasty, although they could keep the meat a bit more tender/juicy.

The corn cup has good hope and served with real cojita, but our order came out mushy and the corn not so sweet. Likely was cooked long before ordering, unless mushy corn is the taste preference in the north country.

Overall review is positive, but the place could make some improvements to earn a repeatable and recommendable pick.

1. Pop up some portable tables and chairs in front... Make it look like a place people would want to go (otherwise they limit themselves to the more adventurous).

2. Keep the corn crisp so it pops when eaten.

3. Juicier meat in the Cubano.

This place is incredible!! My husband and I stumbled here on our way driving out of Duluth and we were blown away. I got the creubon sandwich and it was soo delicious. Everything was so flavorful and well balanced. I’m so glad we found this sandwich shop. Everything is yummy!

I saw all 5 star reviews, and I dont necesarily dissagree. I had a Cuban sandwich and the street corn.
The cuban sandwich was definitely different, which explains the good reviews. Roast beef was high quality ham was also very soft. Bread was pretty crunchy, a bit hard but nothing to complain about. The mustard and pickles compliment the sandwich in a weird but pleasant way. I just cant rate it a 5 since that, I reserve for foods that will WOW!
Dont get me wrong its delicious but to have to wait till next week to get one is a bit rough since they only open 2 days a week.

Exceptional! After searching for restaurants near by this one came up. From the outside it looked sort of iffy. After looking at all the positive reviews decided to give it a try. So happy I did! Tried the Cuban sandwich and the tacos. Both were very good! Nice flavor and generous portions. Delicious! Highly recommended.

My friend and I came here on a whim after we were searching through restaurants in the area. We were pleased to have stumbled upon this place after trying the food! A few things to note. We found it easy to miss initially since it is tucked under a building but once you find this place you won't forget it. There is no dining area, you order at the window, and wait for the food to be prepared. Lastly, the lady who took our order was very friendly and inviting!

Onto the food now. I have had Cubans in the past so I took on a chance on the Creuben to try and change things up. The Creuben was a play on a traditional cuban, but it also included house thousand island and pickled red cabbage. I wasn't sure what to expect and if it would work but it elevated the sandwich into something that was totally delicious. The pickled cabbage adds a nice acidity to the sandwich and the sauce adds additional flavor. Another component of this sandwich that really stood out was the bread they used. It was crunchy and buttery on the outside but soft on the inside. The bread made the eating experience even more enjoyable because nobody wants dry bread. They were generous with the meat and other fillings too.

Overall, everything was executed perfectly and it is now my favorite "Cuban" sandwich to date. My friend ordered the traditional Cuban and it was his first time ever having this type of sandwich. He was equally pleased and we will definitely come back to explore more of the menu.

The sides are good, the Cuban sandwiches are AMAZING! I am especially a fan of the Boca Inferno, it has just enough kick and zing to set off the flavor of the meats and cheese. Great sandwiches, fills you up and at a reasonable price.

My husband and I literally just ate here 30 minutes ago, we drove from rural Duluth just for the food! I have to say this was some of the BEST food we have ever had. It was seasoned wonderfully, full of flavor. The pork tacos were AMAZING, we also got the Cuban, and the Boca Inferno. The sandwiches were so good! I just had the chicken tacos, I'm very impressed! Even the Hispanic guys from Texas liked it! Was a huge hit on the refinery! I highly recommend this place!

Had seen this place in passing for a while, and finally picked a time to check it out.

Amazing! I am a huge fan of the Cuban sandwich in general and have had authentic in southern Florida. This rivals any that I have tried.

The unassuming order window makes it even more authentic. Order was ready quickly, service was friendly, and the food was AMAZING.

We shared a classic Cuban, the Bocas Infero (spicy Cuban), the Mac n Cheese, and the rice and beans sides. All were top notching, for a very reasonable price.

What a place. Awesome food. The kind of food people stand around in front of a window for. A dozen people and I waited there anticipating cuban heaven without even a picnic table or bench to rest on... it's worthy of that.

I will say the tacos don't hold a candle to the cuban sandwiches. They were worth the 7 bucks but were a bit dry and under dressed...the cuban sandwiches are center stage. The inferno is my favorite but you can't go wrong. They are a show stopper.
