The crispy mustard shrimp was very tasty and ramen was good. Miso spicy ramen was spicy with lots of flavor, I enjoyed that more than the tonkotsu.
Service was fine as you could flag down the server if you needed anything as it's not super big inside
It did look they had a private area which would be nice for a special date or meeting. Unsure if you can reserve it for free.
Price of the ramen seems pretty typical but I still live in the fantasy world of a delicious bowl of ramen should be around 10-12 bucks.

Superior Ramen house is 10/10 for me. Loved the spicy edamame. Ramen was so tasty and had a kick to it.
No wait, and great service!

The name alludes to location of this fabulous place, but as a former NYC resident, in my humble opinion, this place serves superior Asian cuisine. The menu has many more options than ramen, the sauces are fantastic and service is excellent. Beautiful wood interior. With a full liquor license, their selections were top shelf. As someone who just stopped in for a to go dish, I was so appreciative for surprisingly excellent lunch. Will return soon.

I ordered takeout from here and the restaurant itself was very cute and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. I got the pork tonkatsu which was amazing and the vegetable tempura appetizer, which was good as well. I really love the pork, and the flavor was amazing. Will be back soon!

Stopped by for the first time for my sister's birthday and this is now my favorite restaurant in Superior. The service was top notch and the food was absolutely stellar. Special mention to the teriyaki salmon, the plating was great and the taste was even better.

Had to check out the new Ramen house in town! I ordered chicken fried rice and the fiance got shrimp tempura Ramen bowl, we also tried some appetizers. Everything was amazing, only complaint, the shrimp lacked flavor but the crunch was great. Clean and organized layout & decor. Staff immediately greeted us and we're very kind. We loved the mini claw machine in the entry way.

Ordered lunch for take out. I can’t rate the service or atmosphere other than the staff was very friendly when I picked up my order. Stir fried ramen with shrimp and shrimp egg rolls. The egg rolls were amazing but I wasn’t impressed with the ramen.

We do not live in the area but pass by every summer a couple times. Noticed this place and decided to stop and try it. My son is a Ramen enthusiast, visiting various restaurants in SE WI and Chicago area. He said this place was far better than all of those! Plenty of friendly staff, fresh hot meals, and a clean atmosphere. I highly recommend and we plan to return on our next pass through Superior.

For someone who eats Ramen in Japan. This does not compare, but for what’s available in the upper Midwest they do pretty good.
I recommend which ever Ramen you get you make it spicy to add that extra flavor unless you have one of those Midwest stomachs. It is a pretty bowl and has good flavor with good noodles. I would say my broth could be a bit warmer. There was no steam coming off of it. The pork Katsu was good, but they did skimp on the amount of meat very minimal. Otherwise, it was a good size and filling.

The quality of the broth and the noodles were good but not great. As a vegetarian it would be nice to have clear labeling about if the veggie options are truly vegetarian or have meat broth or anything. The vegetable gyoza was good but the veggie entres felt tacked on and neglected. The veggie ramen was a bit strange to me. I have been to a decent amount of ramen restaurants and I'm not sure I've ever seen cabbage in it, especially big squares, but there were no mushrooms / bamboo shoots / nori / green onion ect. Mostly the ramen was just the cabbage and some carrots which were both kind of tough and not pleasant to eat. I would have liked more vegetables in general and maybe tofu or something. Kind of a shame because like I said the broth and noodles were pretty good. It seemed like the omnivores with me who got meat dishes thought they were decent to good.
Something I would point out for any vegetarians is that someone I was with had a chicken dish and I found a peice of her chicken in my ramen. As it ended up being just the one piece and I'm not someone who is bothered by the cross contamination I did not complain but I know a lot of other people with dietary preferences would be bothered. Not sure I would trust them to handle allergens as well where the cross-contamination can be more harmful.

A lovely spot for ramen and Japanese bistro food. The space is bright and well-decorated. The food is delicious. My friend and I had ramen and edamame. Decently priced ramen and really flavorful tempura. Definitely recommend checking out for a casual, tasty, and inexpensive dining experience.

Very tasty ramen! This is one of the only ramen shops in the twin ports to actually serve spicy ramen (I requested double spicy). It tastes and smells like the typical tan-tan ramen, except there is no numbing sensation you would normally get from eating peppers.

Food was very good! I was really excited because the menu advertised soft boiled eggs. I was disappointed because they were hard boiled. Hinabi also does a hard boiled egg so i was hoping this place would be different. I just hate the taste of hard boiled yolks. Flavor of the ramen was good, though! We also tried the curry and gyoza.

If you're a vegetarian don't even stop here. All of the broth is pork based. The ramen my SO got was mid. We traded these people money for sadness in a bowl. Just go to Zen House if you want good food.

Super cute place, great atmosphere. My husband had been waiting for this to open and it was worth the wait. I had the beef stir fry and he had the house tan-tan. Flavors were great and portions were generous. Servers were kind and helpful.
It's great to have another option in the area; few others have been what we were wanting, but this was tasty. We will definitely be back!

I've been patiently waiting for this place to open for months. It was well worth the wait! We placed an order for pick-up, and it was so delicious. The tonkotsu ramen had such a tasty broth, and the pork was so good. The vegetables added a nice crunch! We also ordered a milk tea and a fruit tea, and they waited to make the drinks until we got there to ensure they were fresh. Both drinks were so good. I'll definitely be back!

Brand New Business and today was their first day open after the soft opening and things were way better than expected for a new business. Service went really smooth with just a single hiccup (we got served a milk tea we didn't order). The Miso Ramen and the Tonkatsu Ramen were DELICIOUS, and the salted edamame was standard edamame (which is not a bad thing, standard edamame is awesome!)
10/10 - We've been eagerly awaiting opening for months and am so happy the food, vibes, and atmosphere didn't disappoint!
One big recommendation: please install diaper changing stations in your restrooms!!

Such a cute place, the servers were doing their best for their first day open.
As for the food I’m sadly disappointed. We ordered the chicken yakitori, chicken udon and spicy miso ramen.
Chicken yakitori was small for the price but the sauce was very tasty. Not sure I understand the bell peppers on it but it wasn’t offensive. 6/10
Chicken udon was sadly lacking any flavor. I feel like midwestern standards is doing mid-westerns a disservice. It needed way more flavor but overall wasn’t off putting. 4/10
Spicy miso ramen was where the food went south. Eggs were over cooked but still tasty, pork wasn’t super flavorful but edible, the broth though was off. I’m not sure what happened. There was a flavor of heavy garlic powder/chemicals. I tasted each part separately to ensure it wasn’t something just messing with the taste and smell however it indeed just the broth. Even the spicy oil tasted as it should. There wasn’t any salt to be had anywhere. Maybe the miso they used went out. If I had to guess they are not roasting bones and making real ramen broth, but some other comments from the owners say they are, so who knows.
Unfortunately it was so off putting I could not eat it. 0/10
I hope they work out the kinks but being a ramen place with low quality ramen won’t help their business stay for long. So sad that I still have to drive into hermantown for half decent ramen. Here’s hoping we get some good food soon in superior. 🤞

We ordered spiced edamame, fried spring rolls for apps. They were very good. I got the shrimp ramen stirfry, hubby got the ramen bowl. We both enjoyed our food very much. Some hot sauce at the table would have been nice but it was a soft opening. Service will improve once kinks of opening a new place get worked out.
The place is ADORABLE inside. It's a great location! We'll def visit again!

Cool to have a noodle place back in Superior! Has lots of potential here!
My wife and I attended the soft opening. We expected issues, and there were some, to be sure, but nothing that can't be overcome. I'm excited to have this place mature into a noodle house I can rely on that's close to where I live!
This is a cute little restaurant inside. They did well with the decor and layout. I'd encourage the owners to put some blinds on the north-facing windows of the building, as the sun was coming directly into our eyes at 7pm.
The service was very cheerful...and apologetic!...as they were working out the first-time issues. We had to ask twice for our drinks, but when we got them, they were good: the mango tea was good and 'dangerous' to have something this accessible in Superior, and the house sake was dang good for $8 for a large pour (better than the house sake at Wasabi!)
The food was good. The rolls were tasty but nothing extravagant. The sweet sauce tasted like your standard sweet sauce. The edamame was perfectly cooked and salted to MY liking (which is...not a LOT of salt!), but it was served cold, as if it had been sitting around.
My wife's shrimp tempura bowl was decent. Everything tasted good, but she absolutely loved the boiled egg that was in the bowl. She said it was the best she's had in a while!
I had the house tan tan. It was also good. The broth was delicious and the noodles well-cooked. It says 'spicy' on the menu, but for me, it would be a 'Midwest two' out of five (with five being melt-your-face-spicy); it was still delicious. The pork belly was cooked to perfection. If I could offer an enhancement to the this dish, it would be to scale back the ground pork and put some more sprouts (or something else) to give it more crunch.
I will be back after a month or two to see if the kitchen speed and the service improves. It's great to have a place like this (back) in Superior. I'm optimistic about this restaurant's future!
