Although I have not yet had the opportunity to grace this establishment in person, I did order a waffle through DoorDash to my office across the bridge- I have never received a waffle via delivery and not been disappointed until today! My waffle arrived warm, not soggy, and the whipped cream was even still intact. It’s delicious and I HIGHLY recommend superior waffles. I ordered the apple crisp and added pecans, it’s sweet but not sickeningly sweet and the apples are just right. Thank you all so much for making my morning

So delicious! My daughter and I went there. I got a regular waffle and she got a GF one because she has Celiac. They clearly take precautions because she is feeling fine! Neither one of us could finish our respective waffles because they were so filling but I wish we could have because I didn't want to stop enjoying mine! We will definitely be back.

There is also a "chaffle" option for those keto, carnivore, or gluten intolerant among us.

We tried all 3, including the Banana Bliss, the Celebration, and a chaffle version of the pizza waffle. All were delicious!

We love this place. Food is awesome and the staff amazing. We watched the 2 owners go and check on the tables after they got their orders to make sure everything was good. Stopped here on a whim after a Google search for "breakfast." It turned out to be a good find. It is definitely a no frills type of place. You order at the counter, they bring your food to the table and you bus your own dishes.

The food, however, is fantastic! Three of us each had a different variety of waffles, and we all were very happy with them! We will definitely be back next time we come through to try some of the other options!

The Choffles are still the most amazing thing I've ever had come out of a waffle iron. The 'apple pie' waffle was out of this world and the PB&B was astounding (we got more PB this time and it was PB bliss)... We drove 2.5 hrs from MPLS and it was TOTALLY worth it. The staff, the restaurant, and the atmosphere leave nothing to be desired. The gluten-free and vegan options go far and above all of the other restaurants in the area to be inclusive. The experience was great, but the waffles themselves could have been better. They were fluffy but a bit dry. They lacked some of the ingredients that would take them to the next level. Being a restaurant, I would think the ingredient profile would be a bit more rich. More sugar, vanilla, or brown sugar/maple syrup in the batter? The addition of Belgian sugar pearls would also take them to the next level. They are certainly healthier than the ones I would have expected. The toppings outshine the waffle rather than elevating the star of the show.

Wife and I gave this place a try. We like giving local business our patronage and feel everyone deserves a try. The location used to be a Vape shop before and they did a great job with the remodel. It was very bright and welcoming. It's not your typical sit down restaurant though. You order at the counter and then have a seat. Other than them bringing your food when it is ready, it's pretty much a serve yourself kind of place. Grab you silverware, syrup, butter and even coffee condiments. The ambience is simple, as well as the tables and chairs throughout. The menu isn't bad but quite a few waffles resemble that of something you'd get at the county fair. I ordered the Sconie (a Belgian waffle, spread with raspberry jam, with ham and cheese) and my wife, Chicken+Waffle. The Sconie, I believe is to be an homage to the Monte Cristo sandwich, which I love. When the food came out, my wife's looked delicious! Mine, not that great. The ham on my waffle looked like standard store bought sliced ham(only 2 slices) and regular American cheese. It must not have been in the warmer long enough because the ham was still cold in the middle. I will say it was good and I did eat all of it. However, the waffles are quite small. Much like the size you'd make at home. My expectation was, if you're a restaurant selling waffles, they should be bigger than what I can make at home. None the less, my wife's waffle was really good! The chicken tender was crispy and juicy! Together with the sweetness of the syrup and the waffle, it was decedent! I should have ordered the same as her. I did like the fact that they had iced coffee for a beverage choice and with free refills! It was very good coffee too! I drank 2 glasses and got one to go! Overall, I do recommend Superior Waffles. I feel they could improve on some things but the experience was positive. I will be going back again!

I’ve been to Duluth many times and have found restaurants on that side of the water to be busy, no matter the time or place. But the Superior side of the water is home of many hidden gems!

Having Celiac Disease, it’s a real challenge to find food that isn’t going to leave me ill for weeks. That is not the case with Superior Waffles though. They have multiple options for gluten free waffles and they’re cooked on a dedicated waffle iron. The vanilla grog was fantastic, too.

We eat here as a family several times a month and have never had any problems. Food is always delicious and the portion size is filling. They have so many different choices of waffles. If you’re really hungry order two waffles just for you. The side of bacon wasn’t worth the money as you only get two strips, and they’re small pieces. Super friendly staff! Very pretty on the inside! I definitely have to gather some friends for a nice brunch here! It was a peaceful and welcoming Café. They even have a patio area! On top of that. The food was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the hot cocoa as well! (Also, incredible work on the drawing! Really made my day!)

Amazing interior! Fantastic service. Owner is awesome, food is just wildly good. Waffles are fluffy and crispy. Just a wonderful gem for Superior.

Was not very busy at 11am on a Saturday. Was not loud easy to have a good meeting. Staff was helpful and not defensive. Wonderful gluten free choices and tasty. Wonderful no sugar options. Lots of fruits “blue berries, bananas, strawberries” and the nut choices” They had sausage and bacon. We did not leave hungry. Coffee is good they used reusable washed cups “sustainable” cream choices were non-refrigerated “Mini” cups of creamer in a dish at a self service station, no half and half, non-dairy choices or heavy cream had to leave for better coffee. Ordering was not table service but a line up and order at a order desk and then gave you a number. Then they brought out the order. Reminded me of a coffee shop type of service. Hours are really morning only. 2 people with sausage and bacon was $35.47 with tip.
Bathroom was clean and non-binary labeled. Staff were wearing masks on our visit on 27AUG22. We will be back very tasty and in Superior.

Hot honey chicken & waffles were A+ in my book and the ice grog was delicious. I will be back as this will be a go to brunch spot for a sweet or savory tooth. Reasonably priced and nice outside area with yard games.

We came because of the gluten free waffles, but we would happily drive the 500 miles from home to eat here again. The gluten free apple waffle was rich and flavorful. The other person in our group had the Braffle which is a fresh waffle, Wisconsin bratwurst, and raspberry sauce.
