Found this restaurant while searching for restaurants near the Dells with steak and glad we did. The food was great. Husband had the prime rib and said it was perfect. I had the smothered chicken and it was fantastic! The crab dip tray they give at the beginning of the meal is good but the bread was great! The warm pretzel roll with butter or the breadstick was fantastic. We will absolutely be back!

Group of 4 came in for dinner after working all day restoring power to Portage. We were told it was going to be a 30 min wait. After an hour and 15 minute wait, and watching people who arrived after us get seated, we got up and walked out. What to say? Very amazing steak. I had the 8oz filet wrapped in bacon done medium rare. Cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. Also had very good salad,fries, bread, and coconut shrimp. Very good waitstaff! Definitely will be back.

Last night was my first time at Suzy's. It was amazing! Every staff member greeted our group with a smile. Our waitress, Emily, was spot on. The restaurant was immaculate and very inviting. The food? Oh my, our meal was indescribably delicious. We ate a French Dip Sandwich (Prime Rib), a Half-pound Cheeseburger, a Bacon-wrapped Beef Tenderloin, and the Salmon. Amazing!! This was definitely the first of many visits eating at Suzy's. Thank you!!

Wife and I bought a cabin in Oxford late last fall. Every time we drive up, we past Suzys. We always wanted to check it out. Tonight we did and man were we impressed! From the young man at the bar, to the look and atmosphere, our waiter and of course the food! I stayed at the hotel next door for a week during a work event. We ate at Suzy’s and had a few drinks a few nights. The food was incredible. Whether you order prime rib and lobster, fettuccine Alfredo, steak, or chicken parm you will be happy. The bread stick and green pepper rings are chefs kiss. We also enjoyed our time chatting with the bartender/server Brayden! Thank you for putting up with us, you’re gonna go places! Although the Christmas music would have been nice ;-) Yes the prices are a bit higher but you get what you pay for and then some. If you want good reliable food in a great environment I highly recommend!

Me and my wife went to this steak house on Saturday 03/08/ 2025 to try their prime rib in all fairness it was good but the Auju subpar at best. After dinner we went home and I immediately started not feeling good and me and my wife ended up with severe intestinal issues. The only thing we could narrow it down to is more than likely our dinner. We both had the prime Rib and a salad and dressing. those were the only common dish we ate. I had called and left a message on their answering machine and hear its monday and we haven"t heard anything back from them and we were wondering if others had the same issues from that night.

Came in on Saturday, 15 February. Made a 630 reservation did not get seated until almost 7, this wasn’t a big deal. Our server Angie came to us nicely at first. But the second we mentioned not ordering drinks (I’m pregnant my husband works early) her whole attitude shifted, and she got very short and rude with us. She was impatient with taking our order. Any questions we asked were one word answers, or answered very coldly and rudely. Every other table, we noticed that she was super friendly with, and joking and laughing, and with our table she just took her plates, and would scurry off. The food was OK, but everything was lukewarm at best and very under seasoned. When we left, we opted out of a tip given our service was not the best, and Angie chased after my husband to argue that her service was indeed good, and gaslight him into thinking that she should’ve gotten a better tip. Very unhappy with this experience and completely ruined my Valentines dinner. We will not be returning.

Last minute decision to go out for dinner with friends. WOW. Since we did not make a reservation, we were told half an hour wait. At 5:00. Well we were at our table by 5:15. The food was awesome. The food is always good here, I've never had something I didn't like. But the last time we were here, the soup was just warm, still good but it would have been better if it was warmer. The crab dip plate has gotten smaller and when we asked the waiter to get more he almost said no but brought us one anyway. It was very crowded, but I don't mind that because it tells me that it's worth it. Highly recommend the filet mignon or the shrimp.

Welcoming, caring and accommodating restaurant, attractive casual supper club atmosphere. It was packed when we arrived with many regulars/ local patrons who knew one another. We settled ourselves at a table in the bar area. Almost immediately, the bar tender took our cocktail order on the fly and waitress Alyssa efficient popped in to get us settled with an appetizer dish. They made us feel appreciated in the way they paid attention to our needs. Atmosphere was happy, not overly loud. Sunday dinner and cocktail specials were very affordable and tasty. We'll stop again when we travel I-39.

We don’t make it over to Suzy‘s very often, but each time that we do, it’s a great experience. We had a large group of eight people, our waitress was amazing. I wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out, but on her leg, she had tattoos of the moon phases. She was funny, attentive, and very, very good. Was honestly okay-ish for the price. I had gotten the chicken parm ($17) which honestly was a little sad. Not like your typical chicken parm… was a dry grilled chicken with a bunch of melted cheese on top. Not the best, not the worst. I visited on 05/26/2024 after my shift ended on a co-worker’s recommendation for tasty food. I decided to sit at the bar and order carryout. The host staff was friendly and inviting, however the bartender Scotty was the polar opposite. He was actually rude, and I found his attitude to be offensive! I was never greeted when I sat at the bar instead I was made to feel that I was unwelcomed as he proceeded to ignore me for several minutes as the bar was not extremely busy (which would still be no excuse for the lack of professionalism) when he did acknowledge me again there was not greeting instead I was asked “was there something I needed?” which, in my opinion, would have been obvious considering I was sitting at the bar. I proceeded to place my order for a drink that was one of the specials and advised that I would be ordering a carryout. He responded by slamming things around as he made my drink and then went to ask the host does, he “have” to take my order? To which I was flabbergasted as to why that would be a question considering I was sitting at the bar and that was his station. As law enforcement I get having a difficult day, but that does not excuse from exuding professionalism to which our employers compensate us for and expect. Not to mention it was the day before Veterans Day and as a Vet I felt some type of way as to my treatment when I did in fact sign the blank check for the freedoms so many take for granted! Not sure what the issue was with this guy but upon conversing with a couple that sat at the bar prior to their table being ready (who were greeted by the bartender) it led me to believe that his issue was motivated by his personal views and biases. On to the food and the waiter that took my order. The food (a full rack of baby back ribs) was phenomenal, and the waiter was professional as was the host to whom I shared my experience with. Will I embark upon this establishment again, that remains to be decided as I am not a fan of spending my hard-earned money where I am greeted with non-professionals to put it nicely. As a result of this experience, I am not inclined to recommend this establishment to people that look like me.

The restaurant has a cool Northwoods vibe and the prices were more than reasonable. Had the Prime Rib and after ordering I saw a neighboring table with Prime Rib. He was sawing with a knife and I thought this is not a good sign. The meat was so tough I had to cut into tiny pieces in order to eat before just giving up. The food is really good, but when you make reservations you better make them for 5 or 6 pm because they won't have prime rib any later than that the last 4 times we went there they have run out. We tried to go again 1-6-2024, had reservations for 7pm and the host came to seat us and first thing he said is I have bad news, yup they were out of prime for the 4th time in a row, we then walked out and went to Dinos. Failure to accommodate your customers is a big no no in the restaurant business, especially when prime is featured as a special. Poor management.

We had an awesome experience here last night. The cocktails were great, the steak and entrees were spot on, and the service was top notch.
The fare generally follows the typical Wisconsin supper club formula. This includes a relish tray for the table right after ordering. Bread rolls complemented the soups and salads. Our dinners came out wonderfully. My rib eye steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and served with a cup of au jus that really wasn't necessary with this tender and juicy steak. Others in my party said that the prime rib was also delicious. The shrimp were also large and quite tasty.
The interior decor resembles a northwoods lodge with vaulted ceilings. While aesthetically pleasing, understandably it can get a little loud on a busy Saturday night, though nowhere close to being overpowering.
A special thanks to Tina, who enhanced the delightfulness of our evening with her mastery of service.
While I'm not local to this establishment, it is definitely on my list to return whenever I can find the slightest of reason to do so.

We will be coming back! First time at Suzy’s for my husband’s birthday dinner, we were recommend to go here by some friends. I have an allergy to dairy which makes it hard to go out to eat sometimes. I told the waitress right away and she was highly accommodating. We got the shrimp app, two different steaks, and lobster tail. EVERYTHING was phenomenal and cooked just right. Might just be our new favorite date night place to go :). The staff were great! Angie was our waitress and she was so personable and fun to be waited on by. As a fellow server, I know towards the end of the shift, some servers lose their touch just because they are rushing to do side work or get out on time- we NEVER felt like that with Angie. May go as far as to request her being our waitress next time :)

One of the best meals and dining out experiences we’ve had in a long time! From the happy hour drink prices to the value of the entrees (Thursday night prime rib for $17), that was just the beginning. This was my first time at Suzy’s Steak & Seafood. My friends have been here many times and recommend that we go there for dinner. It was Friday night and busy. We were given a buzzer when our table for three would be ready. We went to the bar and very good cocktails. Our wait time was maybe a half an hour for our table. The restaurant is very clean, efficiently run, lodge atmosphere that’s pleasant with supper club menu.

The homemade fish chowder was excellent.
The seafood platter was AMAZING. We all shared the delicious platter. The ribeye was very tender and done perfect and very flavorful.
