Definitely more of a bar than restaurant. Although there wasnt a drink menu either. Steak and mushroom sandwhich hardly had any steak and mushrooms basically a bun with no sort of sauce so it was very dry. Rodeo burger with sweet potato fries that were over cooked and chicken strips, the only meal that was actually decent and finished. Service was good but did have to go to the bar for any drink refills.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch. We chose to sit outside on a covered patio area, which was a nice place to sit. Our waitress was pleasant, but quiet and didn't offer any suggestions or helpful hints. I had breaded boneless chicken wings that were disappointingly flavorless, served with a small cup of dipping sauce that only lasted for about half of the nuggets (extra sauce was available at $.75/ tiny cup). My wife had a chicken sandwich that she said was just good. In my opinion, I was not overly impressed, but it might be worth a retry just to make sure this wasn't just an off day.

Just went to sweet water spirits & resort in Eagle River Wisconsin. There was a sign on the door just pizza and appetizers. We tried to order a taco salad that was listed on the menu. They said we could order other salad’s but that one was not available. We ordered nacho’s and chicken strips. I had lemonade. The lemonade was ok and the food tasted like it came from Sam’s club pre frozen and just reheat it. The service was ok. I will never eat at Sweet water again. I could have gone to the store andu got nachos cheese and meat and made better nachos and chicken strips. And what they charged for the food I could have gone to Erin’s where they have great food and awesome Pizza.

To start ordering a cheeseburger you pay extra for the cheese. You order chicken tenders and have to pay extra for the dipping sauce. Ordered a patty melt and it came out wrong. Was charged for the remake. I was charged for all dipping sauces like ranch and honey mustard and they didn’t come out until the food was gone. Absolutely horrible service yet I tipped 20%. Also we understand splitting the bill is difficult for 14 people however insisted it couldn’t be done, had to be on 1 bill, and at most use 6 cards. If you did split the bill it would accumulate more tips because 1. We are grateful you can split it and 2. Each person would more than likely tip more than 20% and 3. The bill would have been right the first time.

My husband I were in Eagle River this week. He had business and I went along for enjoyment. Eagle River is a resort town that buttons up pretty tight in the winter, understandably. This means not all restaurants etc are open or fully staffed. I am in a wheelchair and was going to use door dash. Well, I was ignorant in thinking that would be an option! When I called Sweetwater to see what the hang up was in the order, they let me know the situation with unavailable dashers. The person that answered was SO KIND! He offer d to help find a way to get food to me, even if it meant he had to drive it ( there were only two of them there, so I wouldn't allow that). While I have never eaten here before, based on this experience, I will return here every time we are in Eagle River! You've earned loyal customers solely based on your customer service. THANK YOU!!

The Bluegill and Fries was cold after waiting 90 minutes from order to table. The Shrimp bucket was bad, and the waitress removed it from our final bill. 3 weeks ago, I had a Reuben sandwich here that could have been better then Arby's and not as good as Pea Patch in Manitowish Waters. We were staying in Eagle River and it’s Monday evening with not many choices to eat. This looked like a good place to have some food and drinks. Server very nice came to take our drink order and we asked what was on tap… She didn’t know, so we asked if there was a menu for tap. Nope. Changes all the time. We had to go up to the bar to check what there was. Ordered a drink on tap. They ended up not having. We ordered a total on 5 drinks not available on tap that was there. She had to take a picture on her phone to show us what was available. Then I have a severe shellfish allergy. FYI everything is fried in the same oil. So I could not eat MANY things on the menu. I ordered soup with breadstick and a Ruben. Turns out the breadstick is fried in the oil as well to heat up. It was on the same plate with my food and it was known about my allergy. Did I end up having a reaction, yep even though someone else took the breadstick off my plate. Will not go to again due to this. Lucky no Er.

We loved coming here on Vintage weekend! This time has changed our mind. Has a young man take our order and the only thing he did right was tell me about the 3 appetizer deal as I asked for two. After we ate he dropped the check off which was all on one. We asked him to split it up and hIs response was JESUS CHRIST. To which I responded I'm sorry to ask you to do your job. We had to get our own drinks and ask for menus. Then, my husband also had to go to the bar to put the order in with the bartender. A waitress did bring the food to us, but she just sat it on the table and left. Nobody else came back to the table to see if everything was okay or to bring the receipt to us. Probably a bigger treat to visit when you're getting there by boat and visiting during the summer. Upper Wisconsin offers a number of cool lunch joints that are very fun to visit by boat and you can tell this spot must be one of them during the tourist season by the outdoor games and picnic tables. Off season and visiting by car the magic isn't there. Indoors is a little cramped and there's not much to the sports bar decor. Although the crew working there is friendly.

One of our favorite go-to places in Eagle River! We LOVE the broasted wings, and Wednesdays are 50 cent wings! Have also enjoyed the beer battered Walleye on Friday nights.Great view of Duck Lake! Can boat or drive up. Still not sure how the dollars stick to the VERY high ceiling, but it's fun! GREAT servers! They hold up very well under the pressure of a very busy spot!

We were in 7/3 around 4:45. It was busy but we were able to get a table immediately. The server took our order within a few minutes. After that it all went downhill. Both us and the two tables on either side of us waited close to TWO hours to receive our food orders! We thought about leaving many times but stuck it out since we are not familiar with the area and figured by this time we’d have to wait somewhere else as well. We really wish we would have left because the food was awful. We got a dried out fish sandwich, a Cobb salad with hard unripe chunks of avocado containing part of the pit on each chunk, and a flavorless Philly. Never once was there an apology, explanation, or comped food. We have plans to be back in the area next month. We will NEVER come here again. Worst dining experience ever.
