Terrible Experience!

Terrible experience, time after time!

The Mr. Goodburger gentlemen can’t seem to get a single order correct. I’ve tried giving this place numerous chances. Between the wrong items, missing items EVERY VISIT (the result of employees getting a little too ‘smoked out’ on the job), soggy tocos, rude employees, extremely long wait times while employees sit texting or smoking outback, I think I will just call Truk’d and pick up or drive across the street to the food truck at Menards. Save your money and time, the food truck in Menards is the same price and a FAR better experience, with much better food!

Went to Taco Bell thinking “fast food” meant fast—silly me! There were plenty of staff, but most of them seemed to be on an extended coffee break while the rest of us waited forever for our orders. I don’t typically write reviews on places but EVERY time without fail that I have come to this Taco Bell I end up getting served by this kid who acts like a tweaker, and says the most off the wall things. He at one point said “bad things will happen back there if your food is wrong” and asked me what my drink was a good 18 times. I’ve had times my food has been quick but wrong, and when my food isn’t messed up it takes 15-20 minutes to get my food even when I’m the only person in the drive through. This person genuinely concerns me every time because they just have to be high out of their mind or off their meds. There is no other explanation💀

Tried ordering food from the drive through. Your speaker must be broken or someone doesn't pay attention or doesn't know how their equipment works. Literally waited 10 mins for someone to ask for the order until I said I'll just go inside and order since nobody takes it but we heard the background. A random Car in front of us waited for a long time as well and said he just had to ditch the order since the one who took his order was really rude as well and start arguing with him. The person on the speaker yelled at us and said he's been asking us 3 times for our order, which didn't happen. He insulted us and yelled, we drove off without placing an order. Bad experience and we tried giving it a shot again. We work in the food industry as well but this was not acceptable on so many levels.

The dining room is a mess with crumbs and cheese and sauce packets all over the tables the pip machine is disgusting splatter everywhere. There are 4 employees working. Just me and one person in here and they said their drive thru was not working and that’s why I had to come in. Sauce packets and napkins are empty. Asked for 2 steak tacos soft shell with STEAK N CHEESE ( ONLY ) and this is what get. I ordered a beef burrito n asked NO LETTUCE and it's filled with lettuce. Don't do it Trucker. I know your thinking ohh something different then the same old truck stop food yeah. But do you really want to wake up 4 hours into sleep in severe gut distress to stumble out of your truck and try to run in a blizzard for one of the two available toilets to get the hot lava out of your guts. Don't do it. After a half hour rocking back and forth you thing well that sucked clean up and head back to the truck to only be reminded just 5 minutes later that this is not the end only the beginning of a very rough day. Don't do it. All the minimum wage increases in the world wont change the fact that you will still get toxic food that will cause you to examine your life choices like why cant i just have eaten an apple instead. Anyway that's my soap box ted talk if you read this and thought ohh yeah getting me some tacobell you may have an issues. If rolling around a sleeper in agony is not your thing then by all means heed my warning and don't do. Every time I come to this place after work I can never get food. They close down cause they got a truck, their grill doesn't work, they rather you come inside instead of drive thru. They have things blocked off with garbage cans. I work second shift and the only thing supposed to be open at the time I get off is taco bell yet they are never open and serving food. I’m leaving this review specifically for an employee Names “Dee”
Over the course of the past few months I’ve been there to grab a quick bite and if He is working, The food almost tastes better. Why? Because He has ELITE Customer Service! He is always ALWAYS in a fantastic mood no matter what time of the night it is. This is the type of employee a company pays to travel and teach others the value of great customer service. You can't expect much at 7 pm on a Wednesday but the counter was clean and the bigger girl working the hot side had it under control and clean. They messed my order up twice within three days and the second day I came back to get my food made correctly. I ordered three taco Supremes softshell tacos. I noticed that there were no tomatoes, so I called and asked him what is all supposed to be on the taco supreme and they said tomatoes I said mine does not have tomatoes, they said bring it back. I said I’m down the street and it’s an inconvenience for me to come back and that this is the second time this week that I’ve had this happen to me. They did nothing to compensate me for having to come back basically. Oh well. By the time I got there the new order was Cold I check to see if there was any tomatoes. Yes there were tomatoes but the meat was cold. I asked did they make the food when I called and she said yes my reply was that was 15 minutes ago. ALWAYS check your food here.

Just tried to get lunch through the drive-thru. I order, during my order, the guy was screwing around talking and making weird noises. I could barley understand/hear what he was saying to me. My order never came up on the screen. I pulled forward to pay, and the guy says oh the guy that took your order just went to the bathroom, so I'll check you out." Ok, that's fine. But then he says you had Mexican pizza and a couple other things. I said no, that is not what I ordered. He said well that's what is on here are you sure that's not what you ordered. I then said again well that's not what I ordered. I don't want that and told him what I wanted. To which he replied well I'll have to charge you for both". We continued to go back and forth. He said well I can get my Manger but I never did. Then, through the headset, I was apparently talking to the guy who took my order. He them proceeded to call me a liar. Came here for breakfast but they were out of COFFEE! How do you not serve coffee in the AM right off a highway for travelers?? I have had breakfast wraps from TB often, but this was the worst. It looked more like a squished burrito….it wasn’t flat with evenly spread out ingredients. It was all clumped up in a roll with half the ingredients on one side and the potato on the other. Both of our wraps were like that. Drinks came out with no straws. You had to ask for everything specifically.

It is a little upsetting when my food is not what I ordered. I had ordered a chicken chalupa, and they put a ground beef one instead. It's definitely not the same. I like going to Taco Bell on my way to work. I don't like it when the drive-through is closed. It takes more time. So, usually, I won't stop when the trash is blocking the drive-through. Most times, my son and I get greeted by an awesome employee at the drive-through named Dee. His upbeat attitude makes for a good night at work. We need more Dee's in this world. I wish I could give this a zero. My sister and I were just in the drive thru. The employees kept saying "hello? Hello?" Over the intercom and we responded and got nothing back other than more "hello?". Then an employee stuck their head out the window and waved us forward but then left as soon as we got to the window and stood there and talked to another employee and then walked off. If I could rate this negative stars I would. The employees are incompetent and the managers could care less one way or another. I'm not sure who it was I dealt with but I was over charged 60 dollars for my food and they refused to give me my money back even after I had proof I was charged wrong. They must've had a glitch in their system or someone was just trying to line their pockets. They said I wasn't charged and I have proof I was. I will never come to this taco bell again.
