I was a customer tonight and this guy named grant was very rude to customers, wouldn’t help his staff to get food out efficiently, and was very very rude to his staff, talking about them behind their backs he also yelled at a young girl worker for trying to help out seeing if they needed anything. The one employee named Imogen was a very sweet girl working very hard and faster than the other employees!

SLOW! I waited for 30 minutes for food that I never got. Wasted my entire lunch waiting for food that never showed up. Two other people showed up after I ordered and got their food after about 20 minutes. They served 15 people out of the drive through while the lobby,filled with 20 people, sat there in anticipation. They just started handing out refunds. I’m sure the owner will love to hear they’re missing money because their employees are slacking. But you can’t refund the 30 minutes I wasted. The 30 minutes I get out of 10 hours of manual labor to eat something. The excuse the manager made was that none of her employees are working. Then fire them. Why did it become my problem? By the way, I watched the slowest people to ever hold a fast food job wiping sweat off their faces with the same gloves they are barely making tacos with. This place is disgraceful. I know it’s only Taco Bell but to be this bad and to be in the middle of a tourist hub is less than acceptable. If you’re thinking about eating here, I hope you have a strong stomach and a lot of time on your hands.

7/21/25 UPDATE from REGULAR LOCAL CUSTOMER. Got turned away due to having a ‘large catering order’ to deal with.
This is the 2nd time I have been given this excuse. Even told them just give me the quickest thing you can make. After a long shift I just need a little food and at 111:15pm there are not many choices available.
The new staff have no regard on how to retain regular customer.

This was the worst Taco Bell I have ever been in. Every table was dirty, and the trash was overflowing. We ordered our food through the kiosk (the only way), and we didn't get our drinks when we went to pick up our order. I go back up to the counter to get them, and all the employees just stare at me from the back, and no one comes to help me. I had to go get my own drinks from behind the counter because no one would acknowledge me. The food was horrible. Our chicken quesedilla had about 4 pieces of chicken on it, and everything else was very skimpy as well.

WOW!!! I use to work at a customer service business (directly across the street) I understand 100% how frustrating it can be when it’s extremely busy. The lady running the drive through, at 8:41 pm on 6/19/2025, should NOT be working customer service. Note: she pulled ever single order forward to the parking lot. Three other families were standing in the lobby waiting for messed up food orders, and by the way they were reacting it seemed to be they waited for a while. After bringing us the wrong order, I went back in to tell her it was the wrong order, she SNAPPED back “DONT SAY THAT ITS YOUR ORDER THEN”. As I waited and watched other families complain, she started to tell customers IN the drive through “no orders only mobile”, I’m not sure what policies yall have but that’s very questioning. Please do better! Very disappointing.

I am absolutely mind-boggled at my experience last night going through this Taco Bell’s drive-thru. My boyfriend and I pulled up at 11:30pm, June 17, to order a couple of tacos. We were the ONLY people in the drive-thru line, and when I peeked inside there was only 1 family there. At first I heard the automated message asking if we had a mobile order, to which I said no. Then, a voice came on and without greeting us, and very monotone, said the MINIMUM wait time is an hour and a half. I looked at my boyfriend and laughed because that is an ABSURD amount of time, and asked if it was a robot talking (not trying to be rude at all, asking a genuine question due to the amount of time they told us to wait). The person on the other end then responded with, verbatim, “That would be my autism. You may leave now.” I was floored. I asked for their name (to include in this message) and they did not provide one. We then went to the other Taco Bell where it was a 3 minute trip through the drive-thru and there were easily 5 cars ahead of us. I’d like to even personally speak to someone about this as I feel like the person on the other end should be fired for how we were treated, I want to be compensated, and would also like an explanation of WHY and HOW an hour and a half minimum wait is possible.

Service at this location? HORRIBLE.

On Sunday night (right before 10 PM), we came in to place a quick to-go order. While we were using the kiosk, the woman behind the counter (while helping other customers) abruptly told my friends to leave because they were holding McDonald’s. We had our friends wait outside, and I stood by the counter with mine to wait - because we had already paid.

We waited almost 30 minutes for a small order (10 nuggets, nacho fries, a bottle of water), while drive-thru orders - including large ones - were clearly being prioritized. No updates, no communication, no urgency.

When we politely approached the staff member about the delay and her earlier tone, she let us know that they were prioritizing drive thru orders for their big boss. She doubled down: “I wouldn’t be rude to you if you weren’t being so rude to me.”
We weren’t rude - just direct and confused. Her response was defensive and unprofessional.

Other customers were also visibly frustrated. One woman waited patiently for a missing chalupa that staff initially refused to acknowledge. Multiple delivery drivers told us slow, dismissive service is typical at this location.

We eventually canceled our order, unsure if or when we’d receive it. The refund wasn’t properly processed at first. Later, we returned through the drive-thru - and got our full order in under five minutes.

The food? Still great.
The ordering experience? Unacceptable. Poor treatment, no accountability, and a clear disregard for walk-in customers.

I hope Taco Bell takes action to improve this location. ALL customers - inside or in the drive-thru - deserve to be treated with basic respect.

Went inside to grab food real quick with friends. 2 of our friends did have mcdonalds bags from next door but we're not eating just with us to order food. Lady behind the counter approached us rudely saying "HEY YOU GUYS CANT HAVE OUTSIDE FOOD!". She approached us in a rude way right after we placed out order, our 2 friends leave and wait outside while we wait inside for our order. 30 mins almost pass and we ask how long our order will take she says "Theres other people infront of you that we are prioritizing." This was a lie because while we were waiting I can see the the times on the monitor and ours was 28 mins overdue and the drive-thru orders was 5 mins. She just turns rudely and goes back to the window, i just ask to give me a refund because its ridiculous that this fast food place is slower than a retirement home. She gives me the wrong refund and is short. This whole event took close if not an hr. Definitely rude and not professional, the floors were dirty, and we weren't the only ones having issues. Taco bell is good food but the service quality at this location definitely gives a distasteful and none enjoyable experience.

We haven’t been to Taco Bell in quite some time so we thought they still had breakfast. When we found out they no longer have breakfast we sat and tried to figure out what we wanted instead. The MANAGER, Tammy, handed us our food. As she did she made a snarky comment to us about how long we took to order and that they only have 3 minutes to make our food. I understand as a company, they have to meet their company standards. But being rude to a customer because they “took too long” to order, when there was literally no one else there but us, is completely uncalled for and unprofessional. We won’t be coming back to this Taco Bell ever.

Came into the Taco Bell and my girlfriend went to the bathroom. She then realized there was no toilet paper and texted me. I let the front desk know there was none and they came back with napkins. As we finished ordering our food 20 min ago we waited at the front to pay with cash. Nobody came to finish the transaction. We are from out of town and from a different state. We went to grab some lunch after going to the Kalahari, We went through the drive-through and the person taking our order was super energetic and very friendly. Upon going to the window to pay and get our food, our food took a while to come out, but the employer let us know that they were making it and we have no problem with waiting. Upon eating our food me and my fiancé both said it was made with love and very delicious. 10/10 reccomend

I am fed up with paying ridiculous prices for unfair portions and food quality. This last time really took the cake. It falls on deaf ears. Employees need better training. Quality control needs to be improved. Fair should be fair. Especially when you pay extra to make up for what should already be there. Very good Taco Bell in my opinion, we in fact had a very unique experience. We came up here for the Kalahari resort for an event. It was a 2 and a half hour drive from our town in the Chicago area. We decided we wanted some food because we were hungry from the long day of water parks and amusement park rides and laser tag and go karting. When we eventually got to the Taco Bell, it wasn’t full at all and we were able to get our food quickly. The best part: the name for the delivery was Sigma Gooner, and the nice gentleman at the counter called out our order as “Sigma”. Overall great place with great people, but beware of the bathroom related consequences.

I went through the drive through and I was charged 70 cents for sour cream and never got it. So I called just to tell them. I didn't want anything for it, just to let them know. I have never had this bad of a customer service and food experience in my life. The pictures show the tacos were slimy and greasy. I had only opened the tacos, both soft and hard, 10 minutes after receiving them. I was told by the manager that the grease from the ground beef permeated the wrappers. I say, that I don't know how the grease from the meat went through the wrappers they were in and through the bag making a giant hole and almost dropping them to the ground?

Also, the gentleman at the window was rude and spoke over us as we asked questions about the menu. He didn't seem to like the questions we had and was silent half of the time, where you wondered if he did hear you. I will never visit this Taco Bell again in Lake Delton. I am not a tourist and I believe that giving me another meal is not going to satisfy my sense of faith in Taco Bell. I've been going to Taco Bell since I was a teen and have always loved certain foods that they make. Because Lake Delton or Wisconsin Dells is a tourist town, I wonder if they acted like this toward me because it didn't matter who we were and tourists can have a little bit of an impatient streak? I'm being presumptuous, and I apologize to all tourists around. No matter. I think that they need to do a lot better with customer service and making better quality food no matter how much their food is. Try it out a little. Make sure that it doesn't permeate the wrapper. I am not happy with Taco Bell at the moment.

Pulled up to the speaker at 9:15 and was told they were short staffed and busy so it would take 15-20 minutes. I also work in food industry so u said “I totally understand no problem “ Thinking whenever they had a second they would tell me to go ahead and order. No. Waited at the SPEAKER for 15 minutes. After all the cars behind me left i backed up and pulled forward again for him to tell me it’s going to be a thirty minute wait. I asked if he meant 30 minutes to take my order or 30 minutes to receive my food. He said he could take my order but it would be 30 minutes until I got my food. This whole ordeal would have been fine if he didn’t ignore me at the speaker for 15 minutes. I left without food. Being busy and understaffed is something I totally understand an and have compassion for. Ignoring customers though? Rude and unprofessional. There was no good excuse to leave me waiting to even order for almost 20 minutes. Please hire more staff it’s not fair to your employees who actually show up.

Ordered online for ASAP pickup time from the parking lot to take advantage of online deals. Went inside after placing order and watched staff slowly build our order, allowing shells to get soggy and food to get cold while they waited for nacho fries to cook. The person who was assembling the combo boxes kept having to rearrange them due to confusion. Food sucked, was cold and soggy, my son found hair in his potatoes. We watched them assemble our food for a total of 15 minutes and then forget to provide glasses for our order when our order was ready. Additionally, to make the experience worse the manager was sitting in the corner of the dining room loudly having a business meeting instead of managing his staff or being considerate of those in the restaurant that were trying to eat who may not have wanted to hear his meeting.

I wouldn't recommend and will never go back.

Upon my arrival at the restaurant, I noticed someone waiting at the counter. After standing behind them for around 5 to 8 minutes, I had to request assistance. Despite the employee glimpsing at us multiple times while sweeping, they didn't offer help. Eventually, the manager appeared after I made eye contact. The worst Taco Bell in the state, arrived here at 12:15 am Jan 1 in the drive thru, we had 2 cars in front of us & several behind us, i kid you not we waited in line for over an hour before people started complaining, we ended up calling the store & was told they were filling the 25 orders for door dash first before helping anyone in the drive thru so everyone was left hanging, unfortunately the drive thru is only one lane so it's not like people could just drive around the other cars, unacceptable, service

Like every other place, they didn't have enough staff. We waited 15 minutes for our food. The food was good. There was one order ahead of us and drive through too, but this was a very long wait. And just not for us, but everyone who ordered after us. The staff wasn't stressing out or angry, so that was nice.

It took a very long time to get the food out. But that's pretty because they had 1 employee doing everything. I felt bad for her she was a sweetheart. The others employees were to busy trying to flirt with the girl that was sitting there playing on her phone.
I got a chicken chalupa and the shell was hard as a rock. I could have pounded nails with it. I took up front and ended up waiting over 5 mins for the 1 employee who was doing everything (she was working drive thur and the front counter) to come take care of me. The other 3 looked at me and walked away. I really wish I would have gotten her name cause she was amazing. And if Taco Bell sees this review I do know she use to be a card dealer at one point. Please take care of this employee. She is amazing and truly deserves better in my opinion. If it wasn't for her this would have been a 1 star review.

A nice Taco Bell. It was quiet inside and my kid loved the orange pendant lights. I ordered on the screen and it was so easy to keep my half of the order dairy free. One of the employees found me to double check that I picked vegan nacho cheese on purpose, which was nice. And VEGAN NACHO CHEESE! As a dairy free person in Wisconsin, that's very exciting. We got crunchy tacos, chips and guac and VEGAN cheese, cinnamon twists, fire sauce, and that purple "tea". The people drink was not to my taste, but my kid loved it.

Went inside, there was a sign on the register saying order on computer thing in lobby no one at counter to even greet you. I wanted to pay with cash, and this thing took cards only. 10 cars got their order first as I stood there waiting for my order. My husband got up from the table and asked the worker why 10 cars got their food first, and the supervisor went and locked the lobby doors so no one else could get in, and some customers did try and then left. 5 min. Later, we got our food we ate and talked about how much this T.B sucked and watched more customers leave than we did to. WE WON'T BE BACK 25 min. Wait, is to long date visited was I think 9/06/23

If I could give less than 1 for the service, then I would have awarded that star. The staff were constantly ignoring us despite waiting at the till and calling them on numerous occasions. I had to wait for more than 17 minutes before anyone got my attention at the till.

Starting from taking the order to delivering bespoke order, the staff was less than helpful. Even when I asked for 3 empty water glasses for 15 people, the man was staring at me as if I asked his kidney.

If you are not using the self - service terminals, then I would not even touch this place with a barge pole.

I walk in at 11:05 a.m. and all the lights are off in the dining room. I question the guy behind the counter if they are open and he responds, "I guess so." I approached him at the register to place my order and he points me to a kiosk to place my own order. I asked if I can eat in the (dark) dining room and he responds, "I suppose so." My next question, which I only asked in my own head was, "Do you want me here?" The answer to that question seemed obvious, so I left.
