Had to repeat my order 5 times. The guy wasn't paying any attention. Then proceeds to have no sauce packets left except Diablo. AND tells us we cant do more than one order. We explain to him we have a separate transaction for another person in the car and he says no you can only add to the order. He wouldn't listen to us when we were kindly asking why we couldn't do another transaction and just kept repeating "is that all for you" and says the total. We have never had this kind of service before and it was unbelievable.

This team of employees are like fast food athletes. The speed, attention to detail and customer service is too notch. And if they fail at being able to provide you a specific item due to inventory. They comp you on any substitute along with a sincere apology, even though it's not even directly their fault. I specifically will travel just to order from this location due to the quality of service that goes into every order I make no matter the size. I'm not a bit or even compensated for this review. I just know that good work is hard to find and this place deserves all the credit they can get. 10 stars hands down!

Update 8/2025: there has been a noticeable effort and management presence, even in the deliveries as I never dine in. My order accuracy rate has shot way up and details even down to the way items are being bagged have improved. Bumping up to three stars.

Every single time I have gotten an order from this location it has been wrong. Through the drive-thru I've had half of my order missing and had modifiers ignored. Through doordash they don't pay attention to modifiers and fail to include items. Every single order I have ever gotten from this location has been incorrect in some way. They don't care about accuracy or attention to detail whatsoever. Every. Single. Time.

Poor service. Put through my order and it took about 15ish minutes to make it. Workers are moving way too slow and worried about when they're gonna get paid next. Also, they forgot the main part of our meal. If you're gonna take 15 minutes to make 7 tacos at least make sure you got it all in the bag. Even asking for our drink cups took forever. Didn't receive a receipt for my order, I didn't get my side crunchy taco that comes with a meal. They forgot what drink i ordered, and somehow "ran out of taco sauce". This location used to be really good, I honestly don't know what happened. Anyways, I didn't care to go back since I hopped right on the highway right away. Can someone figure out what is going on with Taco bells. This is a different Taco Bell than the last one. I went to a couple nights ago and still the line is incredibly long and takes forever. This one I actually hesitated to get into an area where I couldn't back out of Saw the line move once so I went in it and then it didn't move again for another 10 minutes. Luckily the car behind me backed up so that I could back out. The last one that I called said that we're doing training,(every restaurant I ever worked at when we had training we had extra staff on, training means things go faster cuz you have extra hands) but that's why it was taking so long at that location. I'm not even going to call this one. I'm just over weighting for this long for a "fast" food restaurant.

Employees won’t allow you to place an order through the drive thru or at the counter. You have to do it yourself on the kiosk. The dining area is riddled with homeless individuals who yell at the employees, and the employees proceed to yell back. Taco Bell located on 22nd and Wisconsin. The workers do not acknowledge the customers at all. We ordered online. Before walking into the store there were only three vehicles in drive-thru. There were 3 workers total 2 workers preparing the food 1 on drive thru. There was a total of five people in the store waiting for their orders. Not one employee acknowledge us at the counter nor did they acknowledge the other incoming customers . We had to call out to an employee to see if they had our order. She said no it's not ready. We waited 25 minutes for our order. We had to walk up to the counter again to check on our order . We see two bagged orders on the shelf for door dash and online orders. Not one employee called out for our order. Our order was up there for at least 10 minutes based on the temperature of our food. This is not the first time they did this. They do this repeatedly any business customer service is top priority. Where is Jonathan? He has worked at Taco Bell over a decade and he has excellent customer service skills. Not only that he can have that store running in Tip-Top shape. He knows his customers. He gives what the company wants. Please bring him back. Until then I'd rather take the 8 minute ride 2 South 27th Street. At least I know that they will acknowledge their customers and we will receive our food in a timely manner.

I don’t think they’ve changed the fryer oil in a LONG time. The cinnamon twists are RANCID and inedible. Took one bite and it was bitter and left a terrible taste in my mouth. They also didn’t put on the potatoes I asked for. The food is made sloppy and you can tell the employees do not care, more so than at most Taco Bells. The dining room had all the chairs on the tables, employees were outside and not even working the drive thru. I don’t think they even want you to eat there, honestly.

2021: Easily the best location in the Milwaukee area. Night staff is always friendly and on their game, order accuracy is A-grade, drive-thru line moves real fast. Well managed. The ONLY mke Bell that has never done me dirty over the last 5 years. S-Tier location.

2024 update: came for a nighttime pickup order, took a few minutes to finish up. Lady at the window gave a few status updates while we waited which was very considerate. Food was delicious.

Soooo they close at 12 I’m here a little before 11 and the drive thru and inside are closed and whosever working told us to put in an online order. Got the stupid app, just to get to all the way to the end and the only option is drive thru pick up. Their drive thru is literally blocked off so kinda ridiculous just change your hours then don’t waste peoples time. Like all the open lights are on and there’s a worker I talked to there but she won’t take orders and there’s no way to put one in, so just think you should change your hours then or lose business whatever you’d like. Just barely care for the food anyway so I don’t have a problem not coming back and spreading the word :) oh also would just like to add in the 5/10 minutes I was there trying to place in order I saw at least 10 cars pull in and the pull out. Tried to order from this location on 19th and wisconsin. The guy who took my order in drive thru was extremely rude. They were out of multiple items that I wanted. We went thru drive thru with a mobile order and were told to come inside to pick up. Because of the snow and ice, that was a bad option, so the employee agreed to serving us thru drive thru.

The order was short one item, which was denied at first, then given to us.

I thought my Mexican pizza was pretty good. Not quite sure what my husband thought. I'm not a fan of Taco Bell these days, but I was pleasantly surprised at the food at this TB. However, as seems to be true everywhere these days, you cannot leave without checking your order first. Also, there were no napkins or utensils. This has also become normal at most fast food places. I didn't notice any option in the app to request napkins or additional extras.

Portion size was incorrect, food appearance was awful as well. We didn't even get the additions we paid for (avo sauce and guacamole + no nacho sauce when we asked for easy). There's no meat in our crunchwraps as well and very little to nothing of thr tomato, lettuce sour cream and all other regular toppings. On top of that it almost took an hour to get our food and it's just so disappointing. It's Luke warm, not filling and I am very unhappy with the customer service the Wisconsin Ave store has provided. Disclaimer: this is from an Uber Eats delivery driver. I went to this location to pick up two orders. Was told second would take ten additional minutes. After saying I would have to cancel pickup of the seconf order, the "manager" got beligerent and claimed Uber does not have such a policy (spoiler: it does, waiting longer is voluntary). Began demanding I GIVE HIM MY PHONE to call support (a blatant partnership violation), and even when I had support on speakerphone, the "manager" just ignored Uber re-stating the wait time policy and rudely demanded the ordeds be cancelled.

Arrived at 5:44pm on a Sunday, was told I needed to go into the lobby to pick up my online order. My order was not ready until 6:42pm.. I spent almost an hour waiting for food. The place was dirty, extremely understaffed, and overall a pretty mediocre atmosphere in there. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back to this specific T Bell.

I would call myself a Taco Bell regular. This Taco Bell visit turned out to be one of my best.

We showed up as breakfast ended, and we had ordered ahead on the app. So we were hoping to get breakfast items. When we arrived, they informed us that they were all out of all breakfast items. They apologized many times and were so nice to us. The genuine ladies working there were super accommodating amd a pleasure to interact with. When I'm back in Milwaukee, I'll be much more likely to stop back at this location.

Did anyone experience having grotesque hard shell tacos? It was hard to eat. It was the smell and the taste of something like old grease/stale, and it was bitter. I could not eat any of the shells at all anymore. I only noticed the smell after taking them out of the box and then unwrapping it. It was strong, so whoever made them definitely should have known they were bad. Horrible workers.

Sometimes when you pull up to the window, they ask you to pull forward and then reverse back to them. Not sure why, but they make sure to hold their hand up so the next person doesn't pull up.

Door was locked during normal operating hours when the dining room should have been open. Staff rudely ignored me. Horrible experience and would never recommend this location to anybody. Hopefully they find better management. One of the staff members cursed at me and threatened my safety

Worst Taco Bell I have ever seen, staff is incredibly rude, orders are almost always wrong. The reason I will never go here again 'is when I seen a employee's child running around in back while they were making food I dont even want to think of what else goes on there. Do yourself a favor and dont stop here.

App showed location as open until midnight. Placed a mobile pick-up carry-out order on the app. It was automatically changed to drive-through with no way to cancel or refund. I am out the money and was unable to get my food, as we were out on the town without a vehicle so we could safely drink. I often have trouble with incorrectly posted hours at Taco Bell, particularly for the inside/lobby.
