Had some chicken tacos: one American, one Mexican. Both awesome.

Reminded me of winter breaks in college, when I spent a few weeks (most years) in a tiny town outside of Monterrey while climbing in El Potrero Chico.

Could be the memories, could be the food, but I highly recommend you check it out.

Get ready to pay ridiculous prices! I never experienced before on any Mexican restaurant. Got some steak tostadas the other day just to find out they cost 12 dollars each 🤣 and they were not worth it the $12 dollars. I been paying in other Mexican restaurants $6 dollars with everything on it that includes beans sour cream lettuce tomatoes and avocados and it tastes better than this. I came to this place cause was the only Mexican food restaurant open at 11:00pm. I ended buying 6 tostadas and one Torta for a total of $86 dollars no drinks. The most I ever paid for Mexican foods. And be careful around the store cause you might get robbed outside too. The government should take a look at this place and check it out and see what they find.

My partner and I stopped in and got three tacos with a side of beans and rice—and it was easily the best decision of the day. The staff was kind, friendly, and patient, and the food was beyond delicious. We tried the carne asada, pulled pork, and shrimp tacos. The shrimp were our favorite! We ordered them in both the Mexicana and Americana styles to enjoy the difference in flavor. If you’re a fan of Mexican food, I highly recommend supporting this place.

I don't like leaving negative reviews on local businesses, so I will keep it brief and then leave a positive recommendation. That being stated, don't expect the food that you see when you order. I'm not talking about the way we all already know food is not going to appear the same as the pictures. I'm saying the food on the menu is not what you get. If I get assaulted for typing something honest and candid rather than going into detail, we'll I suppose I will update my post with vivid details. That's always an option.

I will say the young woman at the register was very polite and extremely patient with helping me order, I am not fluent in Spanish and she didn't even appear upset with me. My son and I danced and laughed and enjoyed ourselves while we waited for our order to be prepared. And the customers coming in were kind and sociable also. It was a fun place to have our son.

If I were to go back I would definitely order their guacamole. I actually really enjoy getting different personally made guacamole. When something shows up and it's not the same grocery store mush from a bag I get excited, and they have an outstanding recipe. It was a lot different in texture than I have seen from ma y places and it was a real treat.

OMG!!! Just moved to the area and was out for a drive with my husband! Saw Taco Boy & had to stop. Do not sleep on this place!!! We lived in Texas for 10+ years and no where else has ever had any tacos that compared to Texas. That was until NOW!!!! Try Taco Boy ( do not get them American, let them make them their way with Cilantro, Diced Onions, Verde sauce on Corn Tortillas) You will absolutely love them. Barbacoa is our fave with a quick runner up being Asada!!!

Placed an order to go. The girl was too busy on her phone watching TikTok to notice I was there. I got chicken nachos and a steak taco. Steak was more gristle than meat and the chicken nachos were not edible. The corn chips were soggy, beans and chicken were cold, and the chicken on the nachos looked like it belonged in fajitas 3 - 4 inch chicken pieces). I used to love going here, but this had been my first visit back in over a year and wont be going back.

Went in said I wanted 1 pastor taco 2 carnitas and 2 Asada. I ended up getting charged for 6 tacos instead of 5. I get home and see I have all asada tacos instead of pastor. When I called they said they did not give me asada & Just hung the phone up on me. When I called back I said what can you do to fix this she said "nothing". Do not recommend, service is trash.

I was pretty excited to try this place after all the rave reviews, but these were the WORST enchiladas I've ever had. Sauce was baked onto the outside, no sauce on the inside. I ordered shrimp tacos American style. They were absolutely delicious! The tortillas tasted home made, the shrimp was grilled exactly the way I prefer it, and I loved the cucumbers! It added a freshness and a contrast to the spice of the hot sauces they make.

The seasoned pork tasted more like chicken and the cow tongue tacos tasted like regular steak instead although they were made in a quick succession they didn't really take the time to even put whole pepper the out of one and 3.75 for one taco and they were kind of small is kind of pricey especially if they weren't good maybe they could have taken time to make better but needs for improvements

This small family-owned restaurant is an amazing place to stop and I highly recommend you come try it. The restaurant itself is relatively small and there is limited seating, but the food here is great and the employees are very nice. They also have some interesting drinks and so many different meats to try from including cows tongue! They also have a single stall public restroom.

I forgot to take a picture but I'll be back! I've eaten here several times for lunch. My realtor and I like to stop there together for tacos and talk shop. Stopped for a quick dinner takeaway. Grabbed 3 asada and 3 pastor tacos. Sides of rice and bean.
Very generous amounts of meat in the tacos with great flavor. I enjoyed the rice and beans also.
