Unfortunately we left without ordering. This place used to have very good food so we thought we'd try it out for taco Tuesday. However, the waitress gave us misinformation and the tacos for Tuesday weren't available or what we wanted to order. The place was very dirty too and I guess they can't sell alcohol right now. Hopefully they will work a few things out that I think are needed to continue good business here.

It was fine. Tacos are tiny but they tasted fine. But for the price, it was not worth it. The chips for the beans were stale and the beans were literally ham and beans from a can with cheese. The table and chairs needed to be cleaned off. We ordered 6 tacos and got 5. My son went to Diablo’s after and got two more tacos because he was still hungry. The staff were friendly and the decor is cute.

I have been to the Taco House twice. They have, by far, the BEST steak burritos I have ever! These things are so stuffed they can stand on their own! What ever type of seasoning they use on their steak is nothing like I've tasted before. I had tried their nachos the first time. Which were very tasty. I brought my husband their yesterday and we both had the steak burrito and steak quesadilla. I recommend the Taco House to anyone who is in search of the most delicious authentic Mexican food.

Roberto the owner is great! He was out talking with me. The online order system is down to order but took my money. So essentially I had to pay twice and wait for a refund. Their number on google doesn’t even work to call and order food. I had to drive over and wait.

Honestly what I ordered was not what was advertised in the pictures. The steak quesadilla was only cheese and steak: there was no corn, no peppers or any special sauce/seasoning. It was bland and tasted very cafeteria made..I was disappointed because the owner was very kind and spoke highly of his food quality. The price was higher than what I would consider fair. I don’t think I’d come back 😕

This place has 🪦. The dip was a bean dip clearly from a can. There was maybe 2 oz of steak in my $15 burrito that was the size of a taco bell burrito for half the cost. Go anywhere else but here. 😈 🌮 is the way to go, no joke.

My husband tried the burrito challenge and did not finish, so we had to pay, which was fine. The burrito didn't even taste good, even good enough for leftovers. I ordered a quesadilla, and two steak tacos. I was given four corn tortillas with two small slivers of steak. We definitely didn't get good value for our money at all.We have had better food at McDonald's and Taco Bell. We came home, and he had really bad diarrhea twice. Also, the bathrooms were super dirty.

The only reason I gave a 2 was because the owner was nice.

I highly recommend this place! Service was definitely a 10/10! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. And the actual restaurant felt very cozy. But don’t get me started on the food.. I ordered the torta cubana and omg it took me back to when I was in Mexico. Great flavor! My family also ordered some tacos and they absolutely loved them! Don't recommend. The prices were extremely high. As a Californian I was shocked to see prices higher than San Diego. The tacos were super small and the bread got mushy on the torta. I was the only customer yet somehow they forgot the beans I paid $5 for. Definitely won't be going again! Oh and the steak had a ton of grisle.

Maybe it's a fluke. But the tacos I ordered came all soggy & gross really. I expect some due to travel, but I don't think they could find my very easy to find place I live. It took over an hour to get. Wish the driver would've called for MORE directions. I couldn't even eat them. I tried just the insides. It was pretty good, I guess. I also ordered a burrito. In their defense, I can't even attempt to try it. I'm totally turned off. So, I have no idea how it is. It wouldn't be so bad had it not cost THIRTY dollars (with all the fees, tips etc). For one person. Just wow. I think the food wouod be good if you eat it right there, the second you order & get it. It wasn't a good experience. Won't order again. Which is a total bummer as I've waited so long to try them. This is just my opinion on my specifics. I wouldn't NOT try it, but eat it there. Yuck. Bleech in my belly. I'm sure y'all have a different experience than I. Good luck to the owners, I hope it remains there for a long time. Besides my review & very, very few others, seems everyone likes it. Was reading reviews on Mexican spots so decided to go with Taco House. Ordered through the DoorDash app for pickup. There was a promo code that helped me save a couple bucks.

I ordered a Burrito with both asada steak and Al Pastor and a horchata which is a sweet Mexican milk rice drink. The order was ready promptly. The gentleman who worked there was very cordial and cool.

The burrito was one of the best I’ve had in Wisconsin and this is coming from a Southern Cali native where Mexican food is authentic as it gets. Only difference in WI is they don’t add onions and cilantro to burritos which is a staple in CA. The steak was nicely seasoned and had a authentic grilled flavor to it. They had only guacamole salsa as the red and green salsas were not available at the time. The horchata was just right and wasn’t too sweet or watered down.

🌶️In one word - RICO! Which means delicious in Spanish!! Wow this place is a diamond in the rough. Drove by a few times and did not know what it was. Our neighbors recommended it so we checked it out last night. Simply amazing!🥑 Mouthwatering tacos delicious tableside, guacamole in fact, the best I’ve ever had. Handcrafted Mexican waters, which means they mix tropical fruit with water and strain them for a delicious refreshing handcrafted beverage, no it’s not juice -they call it Aquas de sabor.

I tried the melon last night, which was to die for… eeekkk…. And sweet Jesus!!! We also had a side of their white cheese dip. Wow, delicious - Cristo bandito!🧀

Thank you Roberto for a fantastic dining experience. Even though this place is small you can …get it to go or sit at the bar or simply enjoy a beverage and wait for a table. They also offer cold brewskis- in Spanish “ Chellas” - get with the lingo people lol 🍺

They're absolutely AMAZING!! THE FOOD WAS TOP NOTCH AND the owner and his son had great conversation with us the entire time since it was early and wasn't busy. I hardly ever leave reviews of places but decided to leave one here. Stopped in after work with a co worker. I had a steak, tongue and head tacos. The meat on all them were amazing. Very flavorful. The tongue was very tender and juicy. Usually when I get tongue it’s pretty chewy, but not here!

We talked to the owner for about a half hour, since we came at a slower time, he was very nice and shared how he makes his tacos so delicious. Was a very nice guy. Definitely the best tacos I’ve had in town!

I called a few times and was hung up on... Every time. So then I showed up, and the girl up front had the attitude of not wanting to even be there, let alone take an order. I asked her for what we wanted, and she said she'd be right back. Went into the back for a good amount of time. When she came back, she started writing something down with her back turned to everyone, and completely ignored everyone. And we watched her pick up the phone that was ringing and hang it up a couple of times. We just ended up leaving. Horrible service. Horrible experience. First and absolute last time we will ever go there.

So on my way to work, or home I can take two different ways. The one way goes right past The Taco House on Wisconsin. My Co-Worker and I did a carry-out on Tuesday Nov. 15th, 2022. We did 6 steak taco 🌮. 3 were Mexican style and 3 were American style. They did not disappoint at all. They were very hot when I got them back to work that day. They were flavorful 1000% and the tortillas were perfect as well. The Son of the owner was behind the counter and was super cool. We talked for about 10 min while my food was getting made. I will recommend this place to everyone.

Have seen good post about this place, so finally got to try them out. They could be 3 star, but couple issues with my visit dropped them. Got 2 tacos, 2 qausadillas and 2 beers. they got me the wrong beer, they one they opened was ok so didn't care to complain. pre order asked what came on the quasadilla, told just cheese and meat of choosing, when served had side of lettuce, diced tomatoes and sour cream. would have been nice to mention that. the steak taco was satisfactory, wouldn't consider it best in the area. bigger issue was with ground beef taco, was soaked with juice from onion/cilantro mix. gave the taco no flavor.

Such an AMAZING experience!!Came here because our original choice was closed, and what a blessing in disguise this was! The shop is small and cute allowing for a much more personal experience, the cook came out and chatted with us about our meal and explained what it was we would be enjoying. Every part of the experience was enjoyable the waitress was so helpful and never once did i feel unaccepted.
Now for the real star The Food.
I had the sunday special 2 Barbacoa Tacos (Slow cooked Beef) with a jus that i could have drinken from a glass. The food is also overpriced, I will be seeking my tacos at another place. I will say, the waiter was attentive. They have one unisex bathroom, it was clean. It's a small place, 2 tables which fits 4 people each and they have a stool sitting area to sit 4 more.

The Al Pastor amazingly good, one of the best of dozens of different restaurants I been to in the midwest. The favorful mild green salsa was also sublime. The horchata was well balanced, not too sweet, and delicious.

Lucky I gave her 1 star but I had to give her that to write a review. Ordered food for lunch at work and they messed it up so we called to let them know and she said what would you like me to do about it with a huge attitude. Finally we find someone to go grab our corrected order and she gave us a container of toppings. We got no new food our tacos have been sitting here over an hour now. The worst service I have ever had. I will never be back.

Update: Ordered some asado tacos, frijoles, and salsa. The 3 tacos fell apart. The Tortillas would fall apart and all of the dry hard meat just landed on my plate. Did I mention we had 6 tacos that did this? The salsa tasted like it was out of an Italian pasta can.. It didn't taste like salsa should or how good the salsa at this place did a year ago. We took a bite of the frijoles and they were too spicy.. The quality and taste of food has definitely gone downhill since our visit over a year ago. We will not be eating here again.

The best tacos I've eaten in Wisconsin. They were very flavorful, nice portions of meat, and warm. We cannot wait to order food again.

Dry tacos with overcooked meat,
Horchata was watered down and I was actually disappointed in the quality of food I received for the priced that was paid. The 1st time was delicious so idk what to think. I won’t go to Taco House anymore from this experience.

If you are looking for an out of body experience, look no further. My boyfriend and I tried Taco House for the first time today. We cussed the entire meal and whatever sorcery they put in that rice isn't messing around. Never have I actually experienced magic like this. GO.
