Don’t stop here if there’s a line and you’re in a hurry…

We usually love coming here when in Antigo- but yesterday was such a cluster inside this location. No one knew what was going on- 10 tables 7 of which were waiting for food.

The reason we came inside this time was because the drive through was 5 cars deep.

Took nearly 30 minutes to get our order.

But food was great as usual!

Gross! I normally love it here but today I was at a loss. The workers were hollering in high pitch tones and a young teen behind the register seemed dismissive of us. After spitting in the garbage loudly (forgivable everyone has saliva) we watched her for about a 2 minute long tongue and teeth session with her glove. She chewed and looked as if she was slowly peeling it off with her teeth THEN touched food. Absolutely DISGUSTED by this I try my best to laugh it off with my boyfriend quietly but then she proceeded to wear the glove she chewed and slobbered on to hand us our food. It's one of the better Antigo fast food places so we are quite disappointed. I sincerely hope no one gets sick....

When I go to Antigo this is a number one stop along with the state of Wisconsins Best sausage shop right around the corner on highway 64 the staff is always friendly at Taco John's and good hot and fresh food. It's the only taco John's in the state of Wisconsin that I go to because I know it's always going to be good. I drive from Shawano and this is one of my stops in Antigo. Thank you.

It's a fast food place, but as far as the quality, it's at the higher end of the scale for fast food. The staff was very friendly. The facility was clean.

Seating was fairly comfortable for this type of restaurant. The floor was very slippery under the table, but looked clean. I suspect it's from too much soap in the mop water; should make playing footsie more interesting.

A suggestion for management; you could use a lit open sign by the main entrance. It waa actually difficult to tell that the place was open, because it was empty when we arrived at first.

Over all a pleasant experience. 9/10; would recommend for a quick bite.

Horrible service. Tried getting steak street tacos on a crunchy shell because I’m allergic to every other shell. Was just told “No” and that they can’t help me. No other suggestions, nothing. I watch the cook of the day take food that was served to a table that was not done correctly and it was then served to me in a takeout bag and the cook just looked at me while doing that. I saw the man that took my order the next day and told him that I saw what she had done and his response was well they didn't open that taco, well then how did they know they were wrong. I was so appalled by it at the time I didn't know what to say. It is a fact and I will never eat there again

I ordered the Super Nachos with "steak". This was nothing like the delicious order that I got a month back, which also featured black beans, and real "crema fresco" cheese. This one only offered refried beans, avocado 🥑 (which I wish they would have asked about-as I would have declined), and sour cream. Disappointingly very skimpy on the meat, but overall, a good meal.

Taco John's has been an elusive destination in Wisconsin. They're not as prominent in the upper Midwest as others in their fast food Tex Mex market which is a shame. They need to continue making fresh food but also open their dining rooms. No one wants to eat any of this in their vehicle.
