If I wanted to microwave burritos and tacos for dinner I would have gone to Walmart and not spent $40.
I placed an online order for my disabled husband to pickup at the window. He pulled up behind the only car in line. They never had the other car move ahead, so he sat in line for 15 minutes looking at his bag of food on the counter. He requested that it be remade and they refused. By the time he drove the 3 minutes home it was seriously cold. Had to be microwaved before eating cold.
I called the rest and got a woman that said she was one of the managers. I asked her why our order sat, and then wasn't remade. She stated again that "they don't do that" and "if the wait was too long he should have come in". I told her he was disabled and she said "that's the only way they do it". When I asked for her supervisor she said that I could talk to "Brandon". When I asked when he would be in she said "maybe Monday, but I don't know for sure". Today is Thursday. Then I started to ask about Corp info and she hung up on me.
This is by far the worst customer service I've seen by a supposed adult.
This is our third visit to this location. The first two times food was missing, and they refused to remake or issue refunds, again because"they don't do that".
We waited three months after the last visit, but it only got worse.

Food is good, you cant mess up rehydrated beef though. The stuffed burrito is my favorite. Most of the staff is friendly and you are served your food in a relatively decent time.
A few weeks ago though they sent home an employee, Tim, who was working on the job with scabies. Yes. SCABIES. To my surprise they still allow his crusty self continue to work there.

I finally found a taco johns that I'll eat at, and just like that, I'm DONE! Two times there, two times they " forgot " to put something in the bag. But don't worry, they said it i drove the 5 miles back, they'd "GIVE IT TO ME FOR FREE", you know, the item they FORGOT to put in the bag, that was ALREADY paid for ! They refused to reimburse us, but if I drove 10 miles round trip, I could have it ? Her excuse was " were human ". And " just human" lady had a REAL bad attitude. So, with this in mind, they have two less customers.

We ordered for take out and our order was complete wrong. Ordered 4 burritos without onions and our order came with lots of onions. Salad came without guacamole when I paid for it. Very disappointed…and unfortunately we were not able to go back and return our order so wasted over $20 on food that we couldn’t eat.

This may be the best Taco John’s in the entire continent United States. Not only was the food hot, fresh, and ready in mere seconds, but John immediately made me feel at home, offering me helpful advice, thoughtful conversation and a warm smile. This is a great place to stop if you're looking for a quick bite to eat. It's a gas station with a couple of restaurants inside, one of them being Taco John's. There's plenty of spaces to eat, and service is pretty quick. It's kid friendly as well.

My Mini donuts were messed up, had a tiny bit of the cinnamon mixture on the bottom not on the donuts and were over all sloppy.
My tacos were all cold with barely any meat.
The quesadillas was mainly just chicken and really really big chuncks of them that was just difficult to eat and not to mention just too much chicken in a bite; compared to to shredded chicken..
The oles weren’t even seasoned and they forgot both the cheese sauces we asked for with the oles.. the lady was rushing us even though we were the only people.. she kept asking if that was all even though I told her no we had a good but more to order still and she still sounded annoyed I was even ordering.. I wanted to call and ask for more food but I don’t think it’d be any better than the first time.

We have stopped here several times when traveling across WI on the interstate. Both food and service here has been good for what you'd expect from a fast food place. We've had the same cashier twice now, and both times he was very friendly and helpful (larger white guy with short reddish hair.) We particularly found it helpful that he informed us of some menu options that weren't listed (mini chicken quesadillas and a burrito similar to a Crunch wrap). The crunch wrap like burrito was super good. It should be listed on the menu as it would likely be very popular! Note, the potato oles are very salty, so might not be for everyone's taste, but are delicious if you enjoy salty food. They're very good with the cheese dip! Food service was reasonably fast too.

Had not been within sight distance of a Taco John's on all of our travels, but had seen billboards. Service was excellent, food was 25% better than Taco Bell & you could taste the real beef. My fiance & I shared a soft shell taco combo. It consisted of 2 soft shell beef tacos, large drink, & a generous amount of potato rounds for $10 even. The tacos were bland & spicy both with no real flavor. The potato rounds were good, as was the soda. We both had indigestion for the rest of the afternoon. Glad we had giant bottle of Tums. In the 70's & 80's this would have been one of my favorite places to go.

This was some of the worst food I've had in a long time. The fried food (which was most of it) tasted like the oil was very old. I love salt and the potatoes were inedible because of the salt and old oil. My shrimp tacos tasted old too. The atmosphere was dingy. The service wasn't terrible, but I felt like I was being mocked while I ordered.

The food is was bland. You would expect that getting a cheese quesadilla would include spices, but no. The cheese was rubbery and there was no taste whatsoever. In addition, the workers sounded half asleep and were very unresponsive. They gave us something we hadn’t asked for and we had to pay for it. Then, they forgot to give us our churro so we had to go back and retrieve it ourselves. Inside the store, the place was very busy and backed up.

Went here since it was close to our hotel. What a waste of time. First the Taco's were just strange wanted a corn tortilla. They were just weird. Than wanted a burrito no beans to much to ask I guess a lot to ask. First I asked if they had street tacos. From Chicago very common there. Not at Taco Johns. No salsa just little pack of hot sauce. Maybe they should take a ride to Super Street Taco's on north side of town and take a few lessons.

Had a terrible experience at this Taco John’s. I was the only customer in the store and placed and order. I heard the three guys chatting while they made my order behind the counter. I hear laughing and giggling, and someone say “good thing she didn’t see or hear that”. I honestly don’t even want to eat my food, I have never felt like my food was meddled with or mistreated more in my life. I asked the guy who did it for his name and his coworker David, who was also behind the counter laughing. He was probably 5’8” with a straggly beard. Terrible customer service at this location. I’ve never seen grown men act like such boys. I will be telling everyone about my bad experience.

Go here everytime we pass through. I am not a huge fan but my family is. This time I ordered something different then the tacos my family got. Recieved our food ... my order was missing. They corrected the mistake promptly but what I received was horrible. You could tell they through it together. It was just a bowl of potatoe crowns and mushed up stuff. Seriously looked like someone shook it up stepped on it and then served it. 35 dollars for 6 tacos a pound of fry things and a bowl of slop. No thank you.
