They got my order wrong and when I came back to inform them, they made me pay for the food I originally ordered ontop of the food I paid for that I did not want and did not order. If it was a price difference I could see paying the difference but that was not okay that I had to pay for the wrong food and then the food I originally ordered but never got til they made me pay for it ontop of the wrong food I paid for. The churros were very hard, you could barely eat them. Asked for extra meat,cheese and ole's on super potatoe ole and only got extra ole's. Horrible customer service. I see why you only have 3.5 stars when it should be 2.5 stars at that!!! We drove an hour to come here.

I left a review a few months ago that was positive...not so much now. I ordered 2 taco salads in the drive-thru, and when I reached the windows, they handed the bag to me, but the usual size boxes weren't the ones used...I asked if they were out of the taco salad shells, and was told they were. Thanks for telling me that when I ordered them...I could've lived with that, but I asked for them without lettuce, which they added. Not sure if I'm going back ever again...one mistake, fine. But both not telling me that you're put of the taco shells, and then ignoring my request for no lettuce is a bit much.

So I made a mistake and I used the taco John’s app and ordered food like I always do. Somehow I hit the edgerton location when I live in Middleton, outside Madison. I go to the Monona location which is always great! I mean it’s one of the only fast food restaurants I enjoy going to because they are always friendly and nice and helpful! No matter what! Anyway once we figured it out at Monona I tried to cancel in the app but it said to call the Edgerton location to do it so I did! The lady who answered was nice and said we already made it I cannot cancel it. Which I understand cause I checked in thinking I was checking in at Monona and it took a little bit to figure it out. Anyway she said it was fine they would throw it away. But then I asked how do I get my money back? She said she had no idea cause she doesn’t know how that works with mobile ordering. Again I understand cause they already made it. Maybe if they could have cancelled it in the system BEFORE they confirmed they made it my money would have been returned but that was no longer an option. Anyway I said thank you and she said she was sorry and was real nice about it! So I went through the app to contact someone. The contact us number had a hyper link and I used it 3 times to call and it had just beeping like it was a bad number. Ok so I used the hyper link for contact us through email. That sent me to a deleted web page I guess? It said it was not longer around and to restart the survey. I thought that was weird. The only way to contact anyone was to write a review. So that’s what I did. I gave them a 1/5 saying I was dissatisfied and explained my issue but said the actual location of Edgerton did nothing wrong. But I was frustrated because I couldn’t talk to anyone from taco John’s or a customer support! So I left the review and the general manager called me the next day and refunded the money and fixed it. She was so nice and friendly and I told her I was sorry and they did nothing wrong I just didn’t know how to get this problem fixed. It was only $19 but I cannot afford to lose $19. I shouldn’t have even been ordering in the first place because we cannot afford to eat out really anymore which is why I only go to places like taco John’s where they have always given great service! I take care of my mother and she just got back from the hospital from having her 3rd stroke so this was a treat for her getting home. I just wanted to make sure this location gets the positive review for how well they handled it and so they understand how grateful I am for them basically fixing my mistake! So thank you so much! I tried to find where I did the review through the app to do one there to and now I cannot for the life of me find it? But again thank you!!

Terrible service! Forgot about our order and had to stand around forever waiting for someone to see me by the counter cause the cashier just disappeared. When I told the worker from the kitchen finally that we had been waiting a long time and the person behind me in line got their food they just asked if it was soft shells or not. I explained my son only wanted beef and cheese. The order came and it was wrong. Went up to get sour cream and still the counter was empty. Will never come back. I have a lot of driving to do left for a long drive home and it felt like just wasted time.

First off, I would not recommend THIS TACO JOHN as the DRIVE THRU GIRL was taking my order. It was very RUDE and RUSHING me as she was saying, "Can you hurry up there's other people behind you!! I reminded her I haven't been here. I would like to look at the menu, and you're being rude. This was not good customer service. Please retrain your staff in their rudeness and customer service, I'm sure you have a video camera that show how they act and talk to their customers.

TJ's. Best pseudo Mexican there is. I miss the green sauce, but what you do is get your potato ole's, a side of sour cream and jalapenos.

Then, scoop some sour cream up with the ole. Then, put a jalapeno on the top. It'll make you question the inevitability of entropy. It will stop Apropos in her tracks.

Worst fast food experience ever. Ordered long time favorite menu item. It came with an unexpected sauce. Gave it one bite and it was very spicey- could not eat. Asked for it to be remade due to ingredient change. Employee refused without repayment. I was not about to pay twice for one meal. Ordered our food and we were waiting in the lobby when the manager comes out and says "you can't have that dog in here" and I replied "he's a service dog" and pointed to his vest she proceeded to say "I don't care you can wait next door." I promptly informed her that it is a federal law service dogs are allowed in food service places due to the medical services they provide, she completely disregarded what I said and again to me I had to leave with a nasty attitude in her voice, like I was the one doing something wrong I have NEVER been discriminated against anywhere else I have taken my service dog like i was at taco johns in edgerton wi she was rude and broke the law, I hope taco Johns doesn't condone this sort of treatment towards people with disabilities the manager Alexandria is not a good face for your company. Very upset with the treatment I recieved. Would rate 0 stars if i was able to. Got a refund and promptly went to another food place, I will not give my money to bigoted people like her.

My wife and I were traveling for the holiday we stopped in here to get a quick bite between 8pm-9:15pm. I don’t remember because we have been driving since 1:30pm, traveling from another state. We ordered two soft shell chicken tacos, medium oles with cheese, and two grilled stuffed beef tacos. A man with a big beard greeted us when we walked in. He was kind, took our order, and asked if we wanted it to go or to eat in. We immediately said to go. I didn’t catch his name but the receipt says Layla. He disappeared to the back to talk to two ladies. He then turned up with his beard hovering over our food on a tray. We brought it to a table, grabbed our items and left. I started to eat my first taco which was lukewarm at best, with massive 2- 2 1/2inch chucks of chicken. I got to my last bite and That is when I came across a very bone-hard chuck of chicken. I opened my next taco to not only find MORE hard, cold chicken but to find brown lettuce. Immediately, threw my taco out ! Absolutely disgusting 🤢 potato oles were greasy and undercooked. We ended up throwing out all 20.00 of food purchased that we could not eat! I wouldn’t even feed that nasty food to a stray animal. Within and hour I had been vomiting and experiencing bubbly gut!! I would advise skipping this location and going somewhere else! I have learned my lesson and will only stop at the Taco John’s in Hudson Wisconsin during my 3 times a year travel to Minnesota. Writing this on 12/22/2023 10:35p.m.

Hopped back in the vehicle after ordering inside and the burritos were barely room temp. There was hard, uncooked rice in the power burrito. At the bottom of the burrito there were maybe 5 pieces of cold diced chicken. Quesadilla was cold and uncut.
