I have nothing but good things to say about this joint. The lady who gives me my food has become like a friend. My food is always piping hot and delicious! Potato oles scrambler with bacon. Another day, another Taco John's location.

I ordered the 4 cheese quesadilla with sirloin with a side of medium Potatole's and cheese dipping sauce.

To start with, the Potatole's were pretty salty. A wee bit to salty for my taste, so I had to be liberal with the cheese dip. But they were edible, and maybe I needed the weeks worth of daily value of salt in one sitting anyhow.

The 4 cheese quesadilla was pretty good. Flavorful, with a fair amount of steak chunks in it. Though I will say the cheese could have been a little better melted. It still was pretty good.

All in all, good, cheap fast food. Would order again.

Taco Bell has been in Fdl since my mom was pregnant with me. I guess it's all shed want to eat... And of course I'm addicted to all Mexican food but I didn't get it free like my ma did. Her friend who worked there brought home all that woulda been tossed otherwise, so we are passing our cravings to my son and he loves it just cause. But he tries to say taco is ok to eat too!?!??? No no no, it's not at all the same. There's a tradition for a reason son.

First time trying this place, and I asked the young man for a recommendation. He suggested the chicken tacos, and I went with it. They were pretty darn good for a fast food meal. I did ask for some hot sauce, and they have the little packets, but this young lady told me they have the really hot jalapeño sauce... let me have that. We'll from South Texas and being in Wisconsin I shouldn't have been excited. No, it was not hot, but hey... it's Wisconsin. The added tater oles goes great with the two tacos. That and the drink came to a bit over $12 but these days that's the norm. All in all not bad for fast food and the service was great by all workers there.

We live in Sheboygan, and don't have a TacoJohns. So it's a nice treat for us, and this location NEVER disappoints! Every person working here is extremely kind, courteous and helpful, and work together quickly and efficiently. The food is hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious every time we come through. This restaurant, and the employees in it, are well worth the drive! The restaurant was clean, and well stocked. Travis, Erik, Jeff, and Tina... thank you so very much for your exceptional service and hard work. You are doing a stellar job! Where do I start? First off the staff screwed up the order, regular tacos instead of steak taco. Went into the restaurant to get the order fixed……Was accused not paying for the order (went through the drive thru) instead of redoing the order, the staff scraped the meat out, and replaced it with steak… Cold day in hell before I buy any food from this location.

Something is going on with the food quality. The first time we actually did let them know the meat was watery, flavorless and actually pretty gross. Having eaten at TJ for many many moons we are well aware of what that taco meat should taste like... Tried twice more within the month and same garbage. Thought if they didn't fix the problem after being told.... What's the point. So... We will no longer go there. Prices are plenty high. the the food should be edible. So sad

Had a nice visit. The woman at the counter was great, even though she said that she was new and had to ask a question to another team member. Quick service. Food was nicely prepared. My second visit within a week or so. I'll be back.
Update: Now my 3rd visit within the last 6 weeks. Taco Tuesday for breakfast. Just as good as can be. Even though I don't live in Fon du Lac, this is a great stop when passing through. Shout out to Tina and Aaron, my new "Taco Team"!

It is quite pricey for greasy poor quality food. It was more greasy than their competitor. I went for the $2 off six pack and a pound, and still with the discount it was only a dollar less than an all you can eat buffet with better quality food. Further more, they no longer have the condiment bar, they now only have ketchup, mild sauce, and hot sauce. Overall my experience here was lame sauce and I cannot recommend this establishment. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

My original review praised this place. After tonight I can't ever recommend this place to anyone. Went inside. It's freezing in there
No heat on. Either just a fan or ac and it's winter out.

Placing an order took longer than one would be accustomed too. Wanted black beans on 2 tacos rather than beef. This seemed to create confusion and a headache in the kitchen like they'd never seen or heard black beans.

Crispy tacos made wrong. No black beans. But rather something that maybe resembled refried beans? Or beef? Looked so bad I could not determine.

Boss bowl. No black beans served with it.

Took it up front to have the order fixed and a younger tall gentleman with a poor attitude, no professionalism and overbearing aggressive behavior towards didn't seem to believe me and wanted to see the receipt. I showed him where it says black beans on the receipt. He further got an attitude saying he needed to see the receipt and took it from me.

As 4 coworkers bickered amongst each other loudly enough for all the people in the lobby to stare at them, the tall kid had an attitude, shaking his head. Furthermore he was chewing gum while standing at food prep areas handling food. Also found hair in my original boss bowl.

After this he decided to be loud and obnoxious in general towards coworker. Belching so loudly and disgustingly all over food prep areas, not making any attempt to step away or cover his mouth.

Took a lot of will power of mine not to confront him because I know how things would have ended up. Will be forwarding the food/health code violations to the health department and reaching out to Taco John's customer service.

Everytime I go I'm waiting at least 15 to 20 minutes in the drive thru. They mess up order almost everytime. Either they forgot something or I get completely different items than I ordered. Never satisfied when I leave.
Went again a month later. Ordered 2 burritos paid for them. Waited 10 mins for them to ask what my order was again. Spent 4 of those mins trying to wave them down to get their attention. Don't go there. They care nothing for their customers. Super sad!

Just awful. This has to be the worst place I have ever stopped at in my life. I highly suggest not eating at these places. You will feel like puking in about hour. My sweety and I both ate the same food and we both were in the mood to honestly puke. The next day my sweety said I still feel like trash from that food. I’m not sure what it was could have been the cold refried beans in the burrito. Everything was topped on at the end of one burrito and the other half was just cold refried beans . How can you not serve warm refried beans at a taco joint???????? I mean isn’t that the easiest thing you can do? This place is just awful and reading the other reviews on this joint explains it all. Just don’t go here unless you need food for your barn animals

First time taking my fiance to taco John's. I haven't been to one in years and was very excited to have it again. Had bean burritos, they were COLD! Also, the burritos weren't filled properly so half of the burrito was just tortilla. I honestly felt sick shortly after eating it and this morning I still feel like I might vomit. What the heck!!!!

If you need any accommodations made to your food…. Just don’t go here. Got a burrito bowl and asked for no beans. I knew my order was going to be wrong when I realized the workers communication was bad and the girl at the window did not understand how to use the system, I ask for no beans because they make me very sick. I got beans and sent the bowl back they acted as if they remade it when they only scrapped the beans off and put more salsa and sent it back. The steak in the bowl was good but the rice was undercooked. The tacos were mediocre and they forgot to put my entire order in my bag. Spent 25 dollars when I could’ve just went to qdoba.

My husband and I went to the new Taco John's last night for supper. I ordered combo number 1. I was very disappointed, my taco had smeared quacamole on the inside paper and honestly like maybe 2 tbsp of meat, no lettuce, no salsa sprinkles of cheese. I didn't want to take it back up to the counter because it seemed like everyone was goofing off and I didn't want something bad done to my food. The 2nd taco was a little better, it did have lettuce and salsa but same amount if meat. We have frequented taco John's for years so I know the tacos are usually decent. I feel like I should be refunded.. I might try the new place once more but if it's that stingy, we won't be back

Bought super nachos,taco salads, and a super burrito or something like that so disappointed. Nachos were small with flavorless chicken a taco salad usually has lettuce beans meat and cheese not these it was a half a bowl of lettuce with 6 peices of flavorless steak, paid almost $5 for a burrito which turned out to be a bean burrito with red sauce. Ordered a cold brew which had water and maybe a tablespoon of coffee. The sodas were so watered down it didn't taste like a Pepsi or a Dr pepper. Never again and I spent like $60 there so that will never happen again.
