Food is always good, obviously.
But if youre going through the drive thru, make sure you check your bag unless you want to come driving right back once you get home to find youre missing items you ordered, or have someone else's order entirely.

Multiple times I've had to come back because things were missing or wrong.

The staff is nice but more attention should be paid to getting us our food, accurately.

Getting here with construction was a nightmare. The lot was quite dirty, the drive thru staff were pleasant, the food was fine, fairly expensive for what you get, the super nachos used to come on a platter and now a tiny box for $7.00. Overpriced for sure.

Food wasn't any good, the portions were small, there was hardly any meat in the quesadillas and they could've been left on the grill longer to at least melt the cheese. The papas were the only decent food item.
The service was below average, we weren't greeted, and when I told them it was our first time they didn't recommend anything or give any input. The drinks all tasted like they needed to be changed and the bathroom was dirty. I saw a lot of Taco Johns as I was traveling so I thought I'd check them out. Stopping here was a waste of time and money. I do not recommend and will not return.

Took over 20 minutes to get a taco salad. When another customer complained about the wait for her small order the staff snipped at her saying they weren't prepared to handle the supper rush. It was almost 8 pm.

I bought 2 soft shell tacos with chicken. I opened up the 1st one and counted 7 very small pieces of chicken and lettuce. I reached in the bag and found what I suspect was the rest of the taco on the napkins. I didn’t eat the second but went into the building to point out the error. However after explaining what happened, the manager grabbed the 2nd taco, weighed it, and told me it was the correct weight. I don’t think she understood what the problem was.

We got drive through and we thought we ordered a combo with a burrito but it was called the bundle and we said combo. We got our food and it was missing the burrito, I went back into the store and asked why we didn’t get it. The manager was the quintessential definition of customer service, polite, friendly, and courteous but most of all, understanding. She explained that corporate didn’t label or name these products correctly for customers to order and gave me the burrito for free! Now I didn’t pay for it originally but she gave it to me for free regardless. Awesome experience!

It was our 1st time.....they were super busy. The food was what expected... There were some unique flavors. We ordered a little variety....it took a minute to get complete order. However Super Sam was running drive thru and lobby..... the folks preparing food were cranking out food non stop he whole time we were there. Overall I think it's worth a try. The service was welcoming & friendly!

We ordered & shared 4 items off the "ValuEST" for $11.91 total:
▪︎ My favorite was the $3 Spicy Chicken & Potato Griller, I would not order the other 3 items again because the $2 Cheesy Beef & Potato Taco was teeny tiny (barely any beef & literally half the size of the other 3 items! I thought maybe they made a mistake until I pulled it apart & saw potatoes with barely any beef), $2.29 Bean Burrito was mostly all beans, & for $4 you didn't really taste the thin steak in the Spicy Steak & Potato Griller.
▪︎ My husband's favorites were $3 Spicy Chicken & Potato Griller, then the $4 Spicy Steak & Potato Griller.

The hot & mild sauce packets are both good.

In conclusion, Taco Bell does their value menu better & cheaper. I wondered why the Taco Bell nearby was rated better on gmaps. Now I know 🙃

So I am addicted to potato oles but sometimes they're old or under seasoned but it's whatever. Anyways, everytime I go there the staff always somehow has an immaculate customer service voice (I usually only do drive thru). They are almost uncomfortably chipper lol but that's fine. I'm usually always parked when I get fried chicken but that's okay because I know it's fresh (: and I accommodate my time for that. BUT the only time I've ever been dissatisfied is when I ordered the apple grande thing. I said what the heck why not it's only 2 bucks and some change. I received it , opened it, saw the cheese and thought hey, maybe this is the vibe idk. IT WAS NOT THE VIBE. That thing is an ABOMINATION. whoever at corporate came up with that needs to face at least a slight consequence. The only positive thing I have to say about that trash of a contraption is at least they use real apples (I found apple seeds in mine which is fine because apples have seeds.) Overall I love taco John's I love the employees but do not buy that apple grande thing. Discostan.

I love Taco Johns. I LOATHE this location. I ordered a cheddar crunch taco for the first time and asked for grilled chicken instead of beef. I received a club taco literally covered in bacon. I asked for them to remake it and they agreed. Then they changed their mind and told me no after I went back to my table. The supervisor literally raised his voice at me and shook his finger while telling me it was my fault for ordering something with bacon on it and I have to pick it off. My potato oles were fresh but unsalted.
Not only do I not recommend this location, but I will continue to remind my friends and family just how unprofessional and rude these staff are. Thanks for wasting my time and more than $5 of my money that went in the trash.

The lady that took our order was super professional and better at her job than she's likely paid for. However, the food was not good. The burrito I ordered was 90%+ rice with WAY too much cilantro, 7% beans, 2% meat, and 1% cheese/sour cream. The Ollie's were fried to a solid crisp and barely seasoned.
I loved Taco John's years ago in Athens Ohio, and was excited to have it again, but this experience will steer me to other options in the future.

Taco johns has always been one of my favorites that I indulge on too long, take a break and then one day it's my favorite place again. The staff seems decent... And the kitchen I would say is relatively consistent when I go. I order the same thing and it comes exactly the same each time.
If you haven't been here then definitely give it a try. Make sure to have some potato oles

This was our 1st time dining at Taco Johns, and it did not disappoint. The burritos are full, not just of flavor but with ingredients too. Their hashbrowns are great and kid approved. Lacks leadership and direction! Seems store manager just runs the show with over working on rush times but seems to talk more then moving orders out faster then talking bout non work related topics smh I've never seen a store with only one leadership! No team leaders no employee going the extra mile to impress because the manager seems to carry the show and more haha there's got to be some trust more and movement up for other people who clock in every day I don't see this store ever pushing out leadership young adults to carry there own anytime soon at this point I think corporate needs to evaluate and coach this manager on how to let someone else grow with this company and bring there greatness to there own store and continue the taco John's story .
