This is the best fast food restaurant I have ever been to.
I've always gone to XXXX Bell.
Yesterday I tried Taco Johns for the first time.
The young lady working the drive through was extremely friendly, and polite.
I thought she was just having a good day.
So I came back today, and went inside to eat.
Everyone here is very polite and friendly.
Yesterday I tried 2 soft and 2 hard tacos with hot sauce. They were incredibly flavorful and filling.
Today I tried 1 chicken and 1 steak quesadilla.
I have no complaints.

I'm not a fan of American Mexican/Mexican food, but I really love this fast food joint! Their Potato Oles are my fave! 😋 Otherwise, it's usually a beef soft shell taco (#2) for me. Their fish taco is the best, but sadly it's only around once a year 😭. This might sound weird, but Mountain Dew tastes SO much better after a taco! 🤣 The restaurant is usually clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful! 👍

"Negatives:"

It's FREEZING inside during summer! 🥶 The AC is WAY too strong – I need a sweater or I'll eat outside. Also, the mild and hot sauces are kept behind the counter and the employees are kinda stingy with them. Other locations don't do this! 🤔

Service was fine, but what I ordered was a chicken quesadilla, and what I got was a huge mess smothered in what seemed like...Russian dressing...????? Haven't eaten here in a while and then decided tacos sounded good on a Tuesday evening. The food was okay. The quality seems to have gone down unfortunately so the tacos were very skimpy and the meat pretty saucy. I think the chicken tacos were a little better. I ordered some food off their app about 2 weeks ago. Clearing chose no onions, I can't stand onions, so I know that was marked as an ingredient that I wanted left out. Picked it up inside. Since I didn't see any onions on my initial inspection, I drove home.

Got home, started to feast on my food, and guess what... F'ing a bunch of damn onions in my 2nd bite! I called this backwater idgit joint, but nobody would pick up the phone after 10 rings. So I put it on speaker and sat back... 30 seconds later, they disconnected their phone! I called back 10 minutes later, STILL not connected. So I called the useless hotline from the internet, nobody answered, and had to leave a message. I included everything down to the 16-digit (I didn't actually count out how many numbers were in it, but it's too long IMO) order number I was given on the app. Not a word since... do NOT trust these people. Most of their employees don't speak English, and I have a translator app for just those situations. But I don't think they can truly read English either, so you get what you get. AVOID if you do not speak Spanish and NEVER order anywhere but inside, IF you go here!!!

I just love Taco John’s!! After living in California for many years, where the Mexican food is so freshen, authentic.. This place is a bright shining star. Ordered 2 beef burrito Supreme. They came with about 8 mushy potato oles wrapped up inside each burrito. Didn't come near to resembling the nice Burrito Supreme they used to have. The first thing noticed was that this place brought more spice to the party. Besides that, they are very comparable in cost, variety and overall style.

I ordered a combo meal, three tacos no tomatoes. LG. The drink was supposed to be an Arnold Palmer. It was awful, tasted like the mix was off. The guy at the window did not speak clearly so his name was difficult to understand. I also think Engkish was his sevond language. For the cost of the food, I expected a nice meal. When I unfolded the tacos out of the foil there was more salad than chicken. No cheese on the tacos. See the pictures below. It was a terrible look and likely not their best work. Extremely disappointed for $14.00+ meal.
