Once again I found myself near a Taco John's, went there ordered a Taco bowl with beef, no sour cream, and a potato ole. Order was done correctly. Staff was polite and professional. The drive thru is an artificial voice, I do ask if it can read back order. Food was good, convenient stop for a filling meal

This review is more of Taco Johns in general but this individual location: Stopped at this location after our trip to Bentlyville. Pulled up to the drive thru and the menu board screen was sideways (I know not the restaurants fault tech happens) ordering was an "adventure". The worst was the HORRIBLE sticker shock, we didn't pay much attention to the price with the board all messed up it was difficult to read at best. 4 adults ate and the total was $58! That was 4 meals regular size no extra food items. We were shocked to see that sour cream was $1.50 for a little maybe 2 oz container. Checked our order before we left the parking lot and we were short a potato ole. We back and they gave us one. Prices are up all over I get that but Taco John's has taken home the prize on sticking it to the customer.

So I went to Taco John's once about 10 years ago when my students made me on a road trip. Then I did it again a couple years later. Then last week my wife said she had never been so we went.... I thought maybe things would have improved... But not really, the food just seems to be overall pretty bland. I just hate to say it but because I like to give positive reviews to places but it seems like that all three Taco John's just doesn't really do anything for me. Staff is always super nice though. And they are clean and decent restaurants. Kirk, heck, even the generic Taco Bell seems to have just a little more flavor to it. Of course, none of them compared to or are even trying to compare to any of the authentic kind of Street tacos you can find on Taco Tuesdays at some authentic good local Mexican restaurants. But at least in a pinch it's not nasty, it's okay.

Well the service was good it was the first and last time I go to this taco John’s. The food was NASTY it had Zero flavor. The “taco” meat tasted like a nasty rubber boot.

The packets had taco sauce were all split open and nasty.

The counters and tables gross and the place was empty on a Saturday when we went, this last weekend.

Got six pack and a pound, a meat n potato burrito and something else. All were disgusting.

I really like taco johns, but there’s an issue with saying they are open till midnight, but ONLY for delivery. I guess I could accept that, although I don’t understand why? But when I tried to order delivery it said I needed Uber. So I got the Uber app, but still couldn’t order. So I went back to try and order again, this time it said I needed door dash. So I got the door dash app. I tried again to order at 11 p.m. and it said they were closed, even though it is advertised open till midnight. 🤷‍♀️ this is the superior, Wi taco John’s by the not so “Golden” apartments. That’s a whole other story, all I can say is it’s been two years now and they still have roaches! 🤮 but then they have guardian pest control, and that’s another story too! Lol I’m

Honestly, the food just isn't good. My kids struggled to eat their food. My husband and I were totally underwhelmed. The nacho cheese tastes like powdered milk. The spice was almost too intense in the tacos and burritos, and the potatoes were super salty. All of this to say nothing of the portion sizes. A three dollar burrito was the size of a deck of cards and the chicken tacos were 2 bucks for a taco the size of my index finger. I would never go back. The employees were nice and it's only saving grace.

I went to two different locations. Based on reviews this place seemed great. Huge disappointment I ordered chicken Taco salad extra chicken. The taco bowl is filled with iceberg lettuce full then a tiny amount of cheese 4 tiny cubes of chicken a few diced tomatoes a tiny scoop of sour cream. The chicken Casadia had like 4 cubes of chicken decent amount of sauce and a little cheese but mostly flour tortilla.
Wow total rip off for the price save your self from this Taco mockery and Go to Qdoba in Duluth or any Taco place other than this chain. I can't believe people accept the skimpy portions which leads me to think their is a lot of Fake reviews. Taco bell is very similar as well. I know it's pretty much the only Taco option in Superior however the Mexican restaurant would be a way better option.

Rude service, while placing my order I was asked after each add on item if "that'll complete my order." I went with a friend recently and she got a grilled stuffed taco and they made it so fast they didn't even melt the cheese. I ordered oles and they were horrible some luke warm and some hard as a rock worried how long it was sitting, feeling sick as I write this review. Trying to not vomit...

EDIT: Went back once more and puked within 5 mins of sitting down on the couch I barely made it to the toilet, appalling experience and the very last, avoid this place like the plague

Messed up our order and had to go through the drive thru 4 times. Seriously... It was just crispy tacos and mild sauce. It wasn't even busy. I don't know how we kept getting the wrong items 🤔... first we got Soft tacos. No sauce. Then, Hard tacos no sauce. Didn't answer when we were waiting at the drive thru for minutes on the 3rd time and I had to go to work so the 4th time I sent my husband to get 2 crispy tacos with mild sauce. I was late to work And never ended up with sauce for my tacos. Just super annoying way to start the day and the phone number doesn't even work I tried to call to ask for packets when they wouldn't answer the drive-thru but it just said voicemail is full I don't really understand why
