I love taco John's especially for their super hot sauce. Went to the one in West Bend, Wi around 7:30 pm. Order taker couldn't have been less interested in us. Got one taco with the shell 3/4 broken on one side falling off second one had burger grease soaking through toe bottom of the shell like it had been sitting there made for some time. But yeah, the potatoes ole are outstanding.

First time trying Taco John's. Ordered 2 taco salads & supreme nachos. Counter person was friendly, and food arrived very timely. Meat on taco salad was as cold as the salad (probably pre-made and refrigerated). Nachos were okay, but salty & the size was not worth the price. Worst part of visit was counter person with beard going back into food prep area without beard net; along with the fact that his pants were belted below his butt. I know that is a "style" today, but not acceptable in the food industry. Or, can we all sit in your restaurant in our underwear???? Will not be back!

I'm leaving my review the way it is because I had Taco johns for the first time the other day I didn't have a good experience the staff didn't seem to like their job and you could feel the vibe was just off and their attitudes could have been more professional but what really got me is that I had asked them to remove the chipotle sause from my crunchy beef burrito they failed to do that so I shrugged it off and I gave them the benefit of the doubt until tonight I ordered the same thing but this time I got one of those apple things that looks like a Mexican pizza it was decent but the burritos still had chipotle sause on them and then I got no crunchy strips like what the heck I was looking forward to that especially because I just got off shift for the night so I wanted something good for dinner i am disappointed and to top it off I have acid reflux so the food tore my stomach up I'll be speaking to the manager the next time I visit this location there's a lot of room for improvement (update) the potato ones are too salty and the food once again has no flavor and I'm dissatisfied if you frequently eat at this restaurant I would recommend that you request the oles to be lightly salted other than that the oles do not disappoint however with the other food the ingredients something needs improvement bc flavor is everything other than that I love eating at Taco John's and their cherry Pepsi is the best for fountain like omg I am impressed 😁

Was charged twice for the same meal. When I spoke to the manager instead apologizing and offering to fix the problem she proceeded to argue with me which is very poor management. She also, stated there was no other way to refund the charge except in person. I asked what if the person was from out of town? They have to drive back anyway to get a refund.

Update: The regional manager reached out to the manager to follow up. The equivalent in funds that I lost will be refunded in the form of a voucher is what I was told but I never received it.

I stopped in as a first time customer wanting to support a new addition to west bend. The woman who took my order was kind and professional. The order was for 6 tacos, 2 beef taco salad bowls (if one were to dump a taco in the bowl that was the portion size) , 1 refried beans (container less than 20% filled) ,2 sides of potatoes which were filled, and drinks. I think it would benefit you as a company to purchase smaller wraps and packaging, something more suitable to the portioning served. The staff were leaning on the counter with arms crossed and back to customers so there's room for improvement. They’re supposed to close at midnight and unknowingly, I drove through the drive-through super late which I was reminded when the person on the drive through speaker said they were closed. I looked at the time and when I saw it was 11:58 I asked her what Time they close and she said midnight. I said well it’s not midnight yet and she said yeah well we’re closed. She did not have an excuse and was very rude about it. Obviously, they were probably slow and she cleaned up everything and wanted to go home early.. It would be understandable if she was more kind about it And explain the reason more than “just because”. I went out of my way to drive to this location as they just open it up as a new restaurant. Just because she wanted to go home early made it very inconvenient for me. I will not be coming back to this taco John’s and I’ll make sure lots of people know about the unprofessionalism From. Me, my dad, and my little brother were getting lunch while waiting for a 2 hour wait-list for great clips and I ordered a taco salad and the super nachos, when I ordered the super nachos, I asked for no beans, no guacamole, and no tomatoes. I still got those three things that I didn't want on the nachos because I hate beans, guacamole, and tomatoes. I didn't know what would be on the taco salad, so I left that alone. First time I've ever had taco johns and it was an awful experience. First off I had to wait in the drive through line for about 25mins. When I pulled up the the window, I waited only to be told my order would take too long and I had to come inside. I wasn't even wearing shoes. I had slippers on because I didn't expect to go inside.

Finally get my order, soda is spilling off the top, I'm pissed so I just head home right away. I should have known to check my bag because they forgot the sauce, quesadilla, and potato oles. So like half my order. Never going back. Just go to taco bell, it's right down the street.

I came here on Veterans Day. While waiting for my food, I watched the cashier tel an old veteran that he couldn’t give him the advertised promotion because he had to do it online. Went to this Taco Johns for the first time a week ago and was not impressed. I get the location is new and so is the staff but the dining area hadnt looked like it was cleaned all day. Me and my family were the only ones ordering when we got there and we waited almost an hour for our food. I could have eaten at a sit down restraunt and been out the door faster. To top it off we waited so long for our order to be wrong then had to wait longer to get it right. All while what I assume was the manager was being pretty rude to the other employees. The main reason I ordered from Taco John's was because it's new in my town and I never had food from Taco John's. I wanted to avoid the long lines in the drive thru and order lines inside.

I ordered through maps, and Postmates, my order was delivered by UberEATS. I ordered the grilled soft taco combo, which came with a small drink. I ordered a large Potato Oles.

Be prepared to be charged for each side, sour cream, nacho cheese sauce, and guacamole, all 1.49 each.

Potato Oles were the star of the whole meal. They are just coin sized tater tots, crispy and tasty. I heard that Potato Oles are the star of Taco John's. I guess they don't want to disappoint.

The grilled soft taco was put in the bottom of the bag under the condiments and bucket of Potato Oles. The grilled soft taco came squished flat, it tasted good but, nothing I couldn't make at home.

Went on grand opening around 5pm and it was packed. Drive thru line was pretty long and so was the line inside. They took orders pretty quickly inside and everyone was very friendly. Food came out shortly after and was really good. Only downside is that there really isn't enough tables at the moment for how busy it is.
