Tally's is a great local restaurant in Waukesha, WI. The food is consistently good, they've got a great beer selection including some craft beers, and they make a fine Bloody Mary! The service is great, too. My one complaint might be that the prices are a bit high for Waukesha.

The food is good. Decent portions and good selection. The staff is…rough. In the later evening/night they are great but during the day, not so much.

I have dined in on multiple occasions during the day. And the hostess just kind of picks and chooses who she wants to seat instead of doing first come, first serve. Have even had other customers who were waiting correct her that I was there before them. And she seemed very upset either by the fact that she had to seat me or that she was corrected, maybe both. She also made a point to tell the server of this so then the server had an unpleasant attitude the whole time. And this has happened more than once. These are not people I know personally, so I’m not sure what the issue is.

Even years back when they did delivery services with third-parties, I witnessed them be very nasty to the delivery drivers who came in to pick up orders. As in the drivers would just walk into the building and the staff would start being very verbally aggressive, almost accusatory, towards driver. The driver hadn’t even had a chance to say anything yet. It was all very bizarre.

I don’t understand all this angry and aggressive attitude towards people who are just trying to work or patronize the business. I would think you would want people in your restaurant? But they don’t seem to feel that way for whatever reason.

And, on an unrelated but important note, the parking here is god-awful.

So if you do want to try this place out, I suggest going at night for the highest probability of a good experience and a parking spot.

I strongly recommend the Wisco Burger, I got mine with onions, it's absolutely amazing, and I will be coming here again.
(Update) have since been here several times and I have yet to have something I do not like, the bartenders are great and always nice, the food is great, the beer cheese tally fries, the potato skins, the Korean taco appetizer, the wings, it's all good, I love coming here.

The atmosphere was welcoming, but where we sat it was very hot and suspected to be the porch area. I would suggest having an AC back there.

The service there was ok. It was packed so I would expect everything to be waited a lot longer. Our server, Tori, was very welcoming and very nice to us when they were packed.

The food was good. First time having Clam Chowder there wouldn’t be my last there. The fish was good and worth the wait. A very large portion of food, but still took some home so I could enjoy it again.

My family stopped in because we were in town and this place was wonderful. It was fairly packed, but the seating is arranged so it isn't overly packed. Their fries are amazing as are their burgers and wraps. It's what you'd expect from a popular restaurant with attentive servers, good portions, and a great atmosphere. They have a very diverse menu with great quality for the price. If we end up here again, we'll definitely be stopping back. My father said their queso blanco burger was the best he's ever had and their chicken wraps are actually warm. Very impressive.

I used to hear about this place in the now defunct 1250am sports radio advertised during "The Big Show." We happened to pass by a year ago and then recently and popped in. Sensational food! The Wisco Burger is divine. Great pizza and Italian beef are made there. The Tally's Fries, particularly the Garlic Parm, are not only unique in shape but also the best fries we've ever had, hands down. Staff are great. The place is always buzzing with patrons, and they have a great beer lineup. It's also a festive, welcoming place as well as fun to watch sports.

Got a call about 5min before I got my order to tell me that they messed up my JUST cheese KIDS quesadilla and when I get home it’s full of onions and peppers. I have also never had sweet “Jerk” chicken before nor do I want to try it again. The garlic parm boneless chicken is a dry rub (grated parm with garlic salt.) edit: one of the containers had a melted out bottom. Great food, tremendous service. Was immediately greeted at the for quick seating. We stopped for lunch. Our order arrived less than 10 minutes later.

Chicken tenders were extremely tender and hot out of the grill. Fries were more of a wedge style and good. The burger was cooked correctly to medium rare as requested.

My mother told me that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. That said, forewarned is forearmed. I met a friend here as she was quite fond of the place. Sports bars are not my target destination normally, but they're usually fine with a crowd looking for fun. However, the clientele here for my meeting was absolutely obnoxious. Foul-mouthed political talk at unnecessarily loud levels was a real turn-off. On the plus side, the house music was kept at a level that permitted conversation, which is unusual for sports bars, I find. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and well-spoken, which was admirable. For the food, and I am speaking strictly about one sandwich, not the entire menu: the Philly steak sandwich was disappointing. It was served with a minimal amount of beef and enough cheese to disguise that fact. And mysteriously, it was slathered in what looked like mayonnaise! I have never had it prepared this way in all of the years and locations that I've traveled to. The meat was overcooked, and the mystery condiment overpowered everything else.

I normally never give a bad review; I judge places by what they're trying to be and how close they come to their target. I was surprisingly disappointed in the food, which offset how nice the staff was. However, if you like raucous sports bars, this could be the place for you.

If you like simple but done well, you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of bar food dishes that are cooked just a couple of notches up. We enjoyed everything we tried. We only have good comments about the food. We've been going to this place time after time, the kitchen crew continuously pump out good food that are seasoned and cooked well. The plants in the patio are very pretty to make a tranquil area even with the busy traffic from the street and the train noises you get. Kudos to the green thumb that arranged and planted the plants. The service here is excellent. We were immediately greeted by a server just as we walked in. We asked if it is possible for us to sit in the patio. She said, let me check with the back bartender. While we wait at the host area, not exaggerating in the span of 20 seconds, we were greeted a 2nd and a 3rd time by two different people to make sure that we were being helped. That just shows the level of the attentiveness of the team at Tally's. Shortly after, I think her name is Amber (clear green glasses) asked us to pick a seat outside and she will be behind us with the menu. While we walked through the back I noticed that the bar was semi full of few four tops, couple of 2 tops, and a party of 12. I was worried that we would wait very long to be helped. No worries, the server that greeted us and sat us introduced herself the second we sat down and asked if she can get drinks for us. I'm sure we were not in her section and she was asked to serve us since the back bartender was a very busy. Her section was in thr diining room. We are grateful that she did that even though I'm sure that was a hassle for her. Our two little boys turns into monsters when they get hangry. Amber was a ninja! She put in our drink orders and the boys dinner immediately just like we asked. We didn't have to wait long at all after that to put in our dinner orders. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. She was very pleasant and personable without making it about herself. We didn't have to wait that long at all to get our food. The entire staff worked together to create a seamless dining experience for my family. We never had to ask anything twice. I went there on Wednesday, July 31st at 4:00 p.m. I had ordered online and everything was perfect when I got there. In fact, they were just bringing the food out perfectly on time, but the most outstanding part of it was the service. There's a young lady who I don't know her name that came out and she took my bag because I was parked on the far side at the bottom of the ramp and a handicap spot and she took my bag. Walked me out through the back door. Took me down the ramp. Open my passenger door and placed the order on my seat. I thought that she went above and beyond what was required and if when I go back and I will. I ordered the baked fish. It was two very tiny pieces of fish. The drawn butter serving was the same size as a piece of fish! All for $20!! It was a joke. The dining atmosphere is extremely noisy. I’d compare it to eating at sports event with thousands of patrons. Our waitress was friendly, and the service was very good. Always excellent food. The food here is not second to the bar. My expectations are lowered at a bar serving food, which is not necessary here, especially Friday Fish Fry. Enjoy a healthy serving of fish always appears cooked in fresh oil not to greasy, light and flaky....enjoy. The potato pancakes can be served with applesauce or syrup, these are best eaten with light syrup, in my opinion. You can have their home made fries. They are excellent too. Comes with a salad, too. Lots of other good items on the menu seem to have large servings so take a little home.

We moved to Waukesha a year ago and have tried numerous local places - this one is our go-to! It's a good sports bar to stop by if you have a chance. Staff is friendly and never had to wait a long time for a table or food. I personally don't like when places are super busy so if I see the parking lot full I turn around - I can't speak to ever waiting for a table for that reason.

We are there almost once a week to get drinks, apps, or full meals. I have tried something from every area of the menu.
Their salads are huge and all are very fresh with a lot of toppings/ingredients. Wings are a little pricey but I'm a sucker for their garlic parm! Very good wraps and burgers. Their pizzas are okay, but I'm not a thin crust fan.

Their pretzels of the week or any stuffed pretzel can be bought made and then you cook it at home - we have done this for a few parties and they were a hit!

We have alway got take out for wings which are always great, So we thought we would try the fish fry. We were sat at a table on Friday night after the Busy fish fry. The table we sat at was shoulder to shoulder with the table next to us which was way too close and personable!! Super uncomfortable!! We could hear word to word conversation of the people next to us. We were there on Fri. 3/22/2024 about 3:30pm. Ordered a burger and the shrimp. The food was excellent. My comment is, why is the music sooo loud. You need to yell to your table mates to be heard. There was a rather large group next to us that had a baby with them - maybe 2 months old. It's great they wanted to introduce the baby to all their friends. Felt sorry for the baby to be in that loud environment.

Great place. Awesome food. Very crowded on weekends so go early if you cant wait to eat or just order carry out. (We do that often) GREAT to go with friends & hang @ the bar... its jumpin on the weekends!
