Probably one of the worst experiences for us ever at a restaurant!

We saw the reviews and thought it will be a delightful family outing, especially traveling through from Chicago. Also, we've been to multiple busy steakhouses all around the country so we're well aware of wait time protocols and staff attentiveness.

We were told to wait in the waiting area after getting our names written on the wait list. Multiple people walked in through the doors and were seated within 15-20 minutes of walking in.

Our daughter was extremely hungry and still we waited over 60 minutes. Nobody even had the courtesy to come take our order so that it would be ready by the time we got our table!

Once we realized that the staff had no intention of getting us seated and after multiple walk ins after us were seated while we were waiting we decided to get up and leave.

I would highly suggest to incorporate a booking system and also to ensure that families with children are accommodated in a timely fashion!

Please leave your kids at home if you ever wish to visit this establishment!

The steaks were just barely ok. We had 3 different cuts of steak served at our table, so we all compared taste and tenderness. We could have BBQ'ed steaks at home better. My salad was a bowl of lettuce with one(1) tomato and terrible store bought yucky ranch dressing. I didn't even eat it and that's saying something because I LOVE salad. We were very disappointed in the food. The best part of the evening was sitting at the bar with my very drinkable Spotted Cow beer.

0/10 hour and a half wait to be seated, salads were drenched with dressing and lettuce soggy, my steamed vegetables were mush, the tenderloin was flavorless. Sitting behind a drunk and obnoxiously loud party of 12 was insane. We couldn't even talk to or hear the person sitting across the table from me. Waitress was snippy and quite rude. Won't be spending another $50 on a meal there again.

This is one of our favorite go-to places for the entire family whenever we are in the area. Great food, service, and atmosphere. We keep coming back every year when in the area!

Supper Club style service where you place your order while you are waiting to be seated and then it's ready when you sit down.

Most recently (July 2025) had great service at the bar from Maddie who makes a great martini while we waited for dinner. And all the dining room staff were on-game as well.

Keep I'm mind there is usually a decent/long wait time to be seated but the bartenders will keep you happy while you wait.

I had just come to the UP from East Texas to do sales work in 1991... in the first week my employer and friend and I decided to have a couple of drinks and a steak here. Good decision, food and refreshments were really nice.... plus I ran into a man that was from Carthage about 50 miles from my home... small world... good place to relax and enjoy food and fellowship... I can't believe this long after I still miss the UP, Lori and Natalie... I'm sure someone at the restaurant still remembers Nat...as a born and raised Texan I never thought I'd enjoy a steak cooked by somebody that's almost Canadian... but y'all did alright, ehh.

Arrived Saturday night at 7 knowing we might have a long wait and were told to take a seat in the bar as our wait time would be 45 minutes, Well 1:15 later we were still in the bar when I decided to check with the hostess to see when we might order and get a table. She told me we were 3rd on the list. This is where I peeked into the dining room and noticed a row of tables open. I asked why we couldn't separate the tables so we could be seated. She said those tables are reserved for potential larger groups. REALLY! We left. Can't understand how you can allow people to wait when you have open tables (4) available. At least the drinks were good

As an out-of-towner, I always look for great local spots to get a true taste of the area, and this steakhouse did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu.

Now, let’s talk about the steak—absolutely phenomenal! Cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of rich, full flavor. The sides complemented the meal beautifully, soooo impressive. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation and overall experience.

To describe the service, it is an eat and get out (aka Chew & Screw) vibe.
Upon entering at 430p, when they opened, we didn’t get directed to a table but we were sent to the bar to wait for a table and put in our order with the bartender. We didn’t wanna go to the bar, as we came for dinner and we wanted to go to our table. Despite us protesting, we went to the bar. We didn’t want to order from the bar, we wanted to order from our table like a normal dining experience. The hostess and the bartender gave us pushback about not ordering from the bar. Around 5 o’clock, they brought us to our table and allowed us to order from the table because we refused to order from the bar. The wait staff seemed to be bothered by the fact they had to take our order at the table. We get our food and half of our party did not like their food. We felt rushed the entire time we were eating and then one of the people in our party wanted to get a dessert drink, and the waitress told us that we’d have to order it in the bar because they need the table for another party. I asked the waitress if I ordered an actual dessert if we would be allowed to remain seated at the table and she said yes. So, I ordered dessert I didn’t want and didn’t enjoy, so my friend could enjoy her grasshopper drink at the table. It was not reasonable for the amount of money that we were paying that my friend would be forced to go to the overly cramped bars within the restaurant just to have her dessert drink while the rest of our party stands around because we are ready to go at that point.

This ordering process may work for some people however, my expectation when I’m paying for a dining experience is not getting pushed back, not being rushed, not being forced to do or go someplace in the restaurant that I don’t want to go (the bar) And I don’t wanna be rushed or feel rushed.

I ordered the Italian Combination, I expected a good meal from all of the good reviews I’ve heard. My gnocchi was cold and my ravioli was undercooked, so I asked for it to be remade. After about 10 minutes my waitress brought me back the same plate of food and told me my other would be right out. Expecting a new dish, I didn’t eat a lot of the food because it was still cold, she then brought me a single ravioli in a side dish. Although I was dissatisfied, I was trying to let it slide because I was with a big group of friends. I took a bite of the new ravioli and it was even less cooked than the one before. Not only did they mess up my order, but two others that were at my table, so we then started to get upset. I was very disappointed to receive the food I sent back with the one ravioli taken off, meaning they handled my food and gave it back, they never fixed my problem. I was also expecting a breadstick because the menu said it came with my meal, I asked the waitress and she snickered and said “we don’t even have those.” I replied with telling her I saw it on the menu and she said they’ve been gone for a year. The attitude was unnecessary when I had just asked a question about what was ON THE MENU. The waitress also seemed annoyed about the amount of incorrect things brought to the table that we didn’t order, along with the mistakes in our actual meals and didn’t check on us expect to grab our plates.

First off, the wait was quite long - over an hour and a half. The bartender and wait staff were excellent. As for the food, the broiled scallops were more like poached, and had little flavor. The shrimp scampi tasted ok, but it was just the shrimp in the sauce and not over rice or anything. Was really surprised when we were charged $3.00 extra for our side of gnocchi. If that side was an upgrade, it didn't deliver and wasn't worth the extra money we paid. I will say the lobster bisque was very good. All things considered, we won't be back any time soon, as the meals were subpar for the price.

The food here is really really good. They don't take reservations and wait times for a table can be long but only because they're so popular. Last time I ate here there was literally a line of people waiting for them to open for diner and a full parking lot. There are several bars inside to sit at though while waiting to get a table and they take your order in advance. Very cozy intimate dining area. The ravioli are fantastic.

We got there , put name on list they said 45 minutes wait, so after waiting over an hour, the hostess took our order in the waiting room and after five minutes finally a table was ready so we sat down, it seemed like we didn’t have a waitress, they brought bread and salad but we still needed drinks. After waiting a while they finally asked if we needed anything,so we ordered a soda, then they brought out food before the soda, and it was a completely wrong order for a different table, I guess they wrote the wrong table number down. 08/26/2023: Best prime rib my mom and I have ever had! My dad and sister had the hand-cut ribeye, also perfectly cooked and wonderful flavor. Great service the in restaurant and at the bar. This place opens at 4:30pm. We arrived an hour early, so drove around. Returned at 4:35pm, parking lot was filling up fast!!! There's a good selection on the menu. The staff is great and friendly. They make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. I love the bar area, and the Old Fashions are amazing! Lastly, every meal I have had has been delicious especially the steaks! They changed the recipe for the coleslaw with the recipe now including bacon. Excellent change! Make sure to ask for 2.

I highly recommended going to T&T's for everything listed above. Don't forget to go have an after dinner drink, they have the best ice cream drinks (Brandy Alexander).

The only reason I rated it 4 stars is because we received our bread and salad after our food was delivered. We both enjoyed the tenderloin open face dinners, RARE which was perfectly cooked. The sides we ordered was the alfredo pasta and twice baked potato. The pasta was delicious but the twice baked was okay, it was served in a cup and not in the traditional way. I was still very satisfied with our meal and the wonderful service. I most definately recommend getting there before 6pm.

As a retired restaurateur I know how things should and shouldn't be.
Dining room is nice. Pitcher of ice water on table nice touch. Staff was nice and attentive. Now the food. I ordered filet and lobster. Had a choice of bread or breadsticks. Upgraded my side to beef ravioli.
Breadsticks arrived bright white and doughy. Undercooked. Lobster was on the raw side. Steak was cooked right but was hard to cut and chewy. Lastly the ravioli was undercooked and the pasta portion was hard.
Completely disappointed. I went to treat myself and was reccomded by several people. I guess they don't know what real food is.

The service was okay, but everything felt a little weird and confusing. You sit at the bar and order a drink (no food options) while you wait for the hostess to have a table ready and she takes your order at the bar. The wait can be quite long. Our party of 3 waited 45 minutes to be seated.

I ordered the smothered sirloin, side salad and mash potatoes, and a side of fettuccini Alfredo.

The salad…wasn’t a salad. It was a bowl of lettuce with a slice of tomato. Literally. Not spring lettuce. Taco ice burg lettuce. (Only pic I took) so you can make a judgment based on that how the rest of the meal will be.

The steak was cooked fine, texture was fine, etc. The issue was the onions were NOT caramelized, and the mushrooms were out of a can. There was so much butter on their small plate I was afraid it would come sloshing all over me.

The loaded mash potatoes had bacon bits in it.

The Alfredo sauce was canned.

Bread was good.

I’ve heard great things about this and I’m extremely disappointed in the experience. It is not worth the price tag.

The best rib eye steak and prime rib over but we were told there was a 45 minute wait but it was 1-1/2 hour wait. Though it was well worth it.

The (pricey) menu and reviews looked promising but after ordering a beer at the bar, I was ignored and eventually left while the 2 bartenders kept walking by talking to their friend customers. It was only a Monday night…oh well

TO CLARIFY, I WENT TO ANNIE T&T'S AND THEY WERE CLOSED ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT ABOUT 6PM. VERY DISAPPOINTED AS I LIKE TO DINE HERE WHEN IN TOWN, WHICH ISN'T BUT ONCE EVERY COUPLE OF YEARS. I'M SURE THEY HAD GOOD REASON TO CLOSE. I'LL BE BACK NEXT TRIP! THANKS

Mann. This hurts. I'm not a complainer. Im a cook myself but hot dang you guys served me the worst steak I've ever encountered. Didn't render any of the fat. Only "seared" one side of my steak. Served it in an obscene amount of butter. I hate to say it but it was DISGUSTING. You know if you cook it in it's own fat there's no need for a tub of butter? Your cooks should be ashamed and I HATE saying that I'm sure they're good people. But come on team. You have steakhouse on your name and you're serving inedible food. An absolute embarrassment. Hire me. I'll show you what an actual steak looks like how to cook steak. How to treat steak. Our precious cows don't deserve to go out like this. 0 stars
