Great place for golf and food. The course has come so far considering it standing for so long. Great service and very friendly staff makes you feel welcome no matter if you’re there for food or golf. Food is always great and very quick coming out. I would recommend everyone to go give tanglewood a try.

The course is in excellent condition and is definitely challenging especially if you are a beginner (like myself). Tee boxes and greens were in excellent condition. The carts have GPS/distance so it’s helpful if you don’t have a range finder. Staff is also really friendly.

Stopped by with my wife to check out the facilities.....didn't bring my clubs. The place is really nice inside and out. Loved their new pavilion, great for a wedding or large party. Very clean inside the main building and decorated perfectly. I really liked their menu for food and drinks. We had a ice cold Spotted cow...perfect temperature. The golf course looked it great shape. We will be back for all their services!!! AAA+++

Wedding/venue review: After our first tour of the venue, my fiancé (now husband) and I knew this was the place for us just by looking at it! Tanglewood was great to work with during wedding planning. If we had an idea, they did their best to make it happen. Then came our wedding day and everything and everyone was perfect! The staff made our dreams come true and we cannot be more grateful. The male blonde worker with glasses was extremely rude and unprofessional, he should be fired immediately. He makes the business look horrible. No wonder why the employees are disgustingly rude and using foul language towards customers, the larger wide set manager enables the behavior.

This is how you let them represent your business quite the shame and embarrassment ! Treated with alot of disrespect and when I confronted the workers they were very immature and a bunch of liars. We had an afternoon adventure day and ended up at the driving range at Tanglewood. We stopped in for lunch not expecting much but it was convenient. Boy were we wrong! We were more than pleasantly surprised. The outside area was very comfortable with a great atmosphere. Our waitress Lexi was fantastic despite being the only server. The food and drinks were amazing. My hubby was really impressed with his drink (which is saying something) and the old fashioned was perfect! We really couldn't have asked for a better experience! We will be back!

Carly does an outstanding job as the Food & Bev manager and an excellent waitress. We were able to enjoy the igloos this winter. She provided a cozy atmosphere and top notch service. The mocktail menu was very appreciated as well as the menu options for apps and handheld items to enjoy in the igloo.
Would definitely recommend for lunch / dinner.

Kendall was a great server! Golf was good. Food was okay which is the reason for 3 stars- got bone in wings and the buffalo wrap. Boyfriend likes the wings although he could tell they had been freezer burnt? As for my wrap, little to no chicken. I also didn’t like the $2 upgrade to fries, I just don’t like when restaurants do that. The building and patio is nice!

The food has always been absolutely amazing every time we’ve gone, particularly the juicy lucy. We went tonight and the waiter told us the menu changed, no big deal. Burger was subpar; gray with no seasoning. Ordered with pink, very well done and dry. The “steak special” was a Philly steak pasta, which my husband had ordered. The steak on the pasta seemed to be cheap frozen Philly steak that was microwaved. The pasta itself was bland. Service, on the other hand, was absolutely fantastic. Very disappointed, especially with the price.

Restaurant management there is a complete joke!!! We waited for over 2 hours to get our food and 6 ro 8 groups that arrived and ordered got their food before ours was done. When we pointed out that they missed us, the kind waitress apologized and said ours would be next, but it was another 30 minutes before they even started our meals. The waitress took 20% off our bill, but the manager never cared enough to even talk to us. He communicated only through the waitress. I will say that the food was VERY good. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I will say that the onion rings were a bit undercooked, but that is my only food complaint. The wait staff was hustling and were all really pleasant, so our issue points directly to management! I'm not sure we will go back. It's such a nice place and in a beautiful setting, but they really need to get their "stuff" together or they will crash and burn.

A mixed bag of feelings on Tanglewood's restaurant. The bad part - we waited over 2 hours for our food, meanwhile the rest of the customers after us were served their food and left. Brought this to our waitress's attention an hour into our wait and nothing was done to get our dinner to us any quicker. It was like we were started over at the end of the food order line.
On the good side, our waitress Autumn was wonderful, keeping our drinks full and updating us on our dinners. When we finally did get our food, it was delicious! Other than all of our salads being completely brown. Extremely poor of the kitchen to send them out the way they were.
All I can take away from our experience at Tanglewood is that the restaurant management is terrible, or simply do not care. I don't know that I will ever go back. We gave them every opportunity to correct the problem and nothing was ever done about it.

Went a few weeks ago to try a new place. Took an hour to get our food. They forgot the appetizer and it came at the end of the meal thrown together. Fish and chicken over cooked. Fried fish had seasoning just dumped on it. Waitress ignored is and didn't realize we hadn't gotten our appetizer until the food came out. And one of our orders was made wrong. For the price, I'd much rather just go to applebees save a few $ to get better tasting food and servers that check in on you. The guy who was seating people was the best of the visit raising the stars from 1 to 2. We had a glass spill and could not get the waitresses attention so found the host and he helped us and was very kind bringing a new drink.

Was really excited to go try out the newly reopened Golf course. The Club was nicely renovated and the porch view was great. However thats where the positive ends. The servers seemed overwhelmed, unsure, and inexperienced. It took 30 min to get ice water. We ordered 2 drinks ( a mojito and a mich golden light) it took over 45min to get our drinks, the beer was wrong and the mojito was warm and not made incorrectly. Onto the food, we ordered the tri tip mac and cheese and the mushroom swiss burger. The tri tip mac and cheese was mac and cheese with a pork flank steak (pork chop cut thin) covered in chives. I got food poisoning from this. The swiss burger came out well over done but still edible. The food was subpar at best and they were charging prices I have only seen in major city restaurants. Several of the tables around us had to send their food back. Most of the tables around us had to wait even longer for their food and drink. Very Disappointed. Would not recommend and will not be going back.

Went to a wedding here recently. The venue inside was nice. Guests toilets were outside which was fine but no one was keeping up with toilet paper, etc. The catering company ran out of food, (not sure if there affiliated with tangelwood), we got a fifty cent piece looking chicken, no mash potatoes those were gone, 1 piece of corn bread which they had a bunch left so at this point I would give more, corn small portion, bow tie salad, reg salad was gone.
Na beer was $4.00, and bacardi was $6.00, not sure if those are regular prices or event prices. Overall the bartenders inside and out were friendly and prompt.

Hats off to Golf Course Superintendent Jordan Hill and Owner Raj Lall for the amazing condition of Tanglewood Golf Course. Hadn't played there in several years, but the course is in the best condition of any in the Chippewa Valley! Service and food was great and really appreciated early bird specials on golf. This is a must play course.

Views and cours is very nice views. Many blind spots and you need to know most of landing zones. They have removed some key trees that make course more playable, just aerated greens and sanded. Made greens very tough to put, but was needed.
