I came in craving a Reuben—one of my all-time sandwich soulmates. You know the kind: beefy, tangy, melty perfection nestled between crispy rye.

What I got… was something else.

At first bite, I was intrigued. By the third, confused. Was it corned beef? Pulled pork? Both? A meat medley straight outta Frankenstein’s deli? The flavors were fighting each other like they had beef… and apparently, also pork.

Don’t get me wrong—it wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t a Reuben. It was a Rubén's long-lost cousin who moved to Memphis and got into barbecue fusion.

In the words of Agent Sands (Johnny Depp), I won’t kill the cook—but I will shoot him with compliments for bold creativity. Just maybe rename it. “The Southern Switcheroo” or “The Brisket Blunder”? Something to let my tastebuds know what's coming.

For being a pub....it is alot more than that. I needed grub cause some ad came across my phone for shrimp tacos. It's the imagination that makes me extra desire this stuff. Besides the appearance of the breaded shrimp it really is the drizzle sauce that puts this meal over the top. First - full size corn tortillas, for of them, no mini jazz. It is very popular too cause I wasn't the only one ordering this. Every bite was serious too.
Great friendly pub for a first time experience. It was so good I returned 3 nites later for the egg roll things with black beans that also was very good. My new food stop when on this side of town.

Looking for a quick and reasonable way to pull off a quick dinner and go home and relax. Teezers did us right. We got three dishes for a very fair price.
The young lady that answered the phone and the cook that brought the food out were both very friendly.
The food is great for bar food, filling and generous portions.

We’ve eaten in before as well and found the same to be true.
Drinks are also not over priced and there’s some of everyone that comes in the bar. Great neighborhood spot to relax, grab a bite, watch some games, shoot some pool and have some spirits.

This used to be my family’s go-to spot—we ordered from here multiple times a week. Unfortunately, everything has taken a nosedive, from the quality to the quantity of the food. I’m not sure if there’s a new cook, but the food has been disappointing. The breaded fish in my tacos was the size of a frozen chicken finger—overcooked and dry. And where were the toppings? The spinach artichoke poppers were no better; they were overcooked and burnt on the outside. I’ve tried to give this place another chance each time, but they continue to fall short of even reasonable expectations. After all this, I think this will be my last attempt, whether it’s for delivery, pickup, or dining in.

The club sandwich was decent, but it’s not what it used to be. It used to be a generous portion, and now it’s half the size. The bread, which was once simply toasted, is now coated in an oily butter that resembles what you’d use for a grilled cheese. This sandwich has always been my go-to order here, and I’ve chosen it countless times. Don’t get me wrong—it’s not bad, but I can’t help but wonder why they would change something that was already so good. If this is the new and improved version, I’m unlikely to order it again.

Its a good bar, sometimes bartenders spend more time hanging out with regulars or friends and it takes a bit to get a drink but not so much so that its a deal breaker. Music can get loud for me and im half deaf... good drinks, pool table, many dartboards. Havent had any food there so no marks. Solid 4 star bar for the times ive been in there.

We tried to have lunch there today. Operative word being TRIED. After being a bit put off by the sign saying no hoods or masks allowed. We found a table, got our own menus and waited, and waited. I will say I went in around 9pm on a Friday, so I expected it to be busy.I go in and stand by the Togo counter waited about 7 minutes, not one person spoke to me. Then the bartender/ server was yelling at a different customer. So I walk to the other side of the bar, and waited 10 more minutes the guy bartender said hello from a far, then started empty the receipts out of the register. So after 17 minutes I finally walk to the counter again and make them talk to me. I wanted an order to go. No worries, your busy.She took my order,and did not write it down. And when she repeated it wrong,I corrected her,and I heard I got you. Then I walked to the computer to help. Waited for my food, sat in the same spot she served my coke too. She comes out a screams my name not once, but 4 times, and a pirceing scream.Because she could not hear me say here.I have three orders on plates. She did not know it was to go, but I am glad she had her cigarette. Then I boxed up my own food, because I did not see her wash her hands. I get home and the whole order, every sandwich is wrong. Food would have been better if correct. And she is the first bartender I did not tip. And that takes a lot for me to do. She was so bad, obnoxious and paying more attention to the customer she yelled at and carrying on about it. Then doing her job, I don't like posting bad things about small businesses, but I tried to call and the phone is off the hook. Because of her I will not go back. Sad

This place is it. I didn't feel like cooking today, so I decided to order out for dinner. Fresh delicious food with large portions for a very reasonable price. I got the appetizer sampler for us to share and my gawd it could an army. The fish tacos are amazing, and the kids loved the beef tacos. This is going to be our go to spot for days like this. I want to love this place, but my first and only time here, it was so loud, I couldn't think straight. Poor timing on my part because I think maybe I showed up during some kind of event (darts league? sportsball thingy? idk) I can't blame them for MY inability to handle that level of noise. ;) But I will say I was wishing for slightly more attentive service, I felt like maybe we just weren't on the server's radar, because we did a fair bit of waiting just to order our drinks. I think maybe this is more of a neighborhood bar where, if you're a regular, the service is maybe a bit better? but the food was great, and we enjoyed our drinks and the prices were reasonable, so... 4 stars!

You either have to look homeless, drunk, or butch to get service in this place. 2 bartenders working and my friend and I were clearly visibly sitting in front of them and couldn’t even bother to greet or ask us for an order. It's hit or miss. We have come on weekend nights with live entertainment ( the best was just a few weeks ago) and had an amazing time. We try the next weekend and epic fail. But no matter what evening, it is so hard to buy a drink. The bar staff is constantly moving and appearing swamped, but it is really just disorder. One night we spend more time waiting to get drinks than drinking and I am being literal. One member of the group on her second trip to the bar just bought two saying, "I waited so long I would have finished one of these by now" and it really hit home. To the Owner/Operator: Great place! Organize the bar, give people a section, have them stay there and collect the money people are trying to give you.

Very very disappointed! We went in on 8/12/22 around 8pm for a fish fry. We sat down at a table and looked at the menu and we decided what we were gonna get. Well we sat there for 15mins with no one asking us what we'd like or anything! The worst part is that all the employees kept looking at us when they passed by. Absolutely rude and ridiculous! Probably the worst fish I've ever had. Soggy, tasteless fish, with soggy fries too. The only edible thing was the pretzel bites, but they forgot to give me nacho cheese. Would not recommend this place unless your drunk, when the food might actually taste decent.

Edit: they also gave us raw potatoes that my 4 year old son was eating before we noticed at home. Absolutely disgusting. We had to recook some of the food to eat, what we didn't throw away at least. I wish my food looked like these other reviews.
