This is a basic storefront restaurant. But it's authentic. That's special. We were headed to Bayview, but this caught our eye. The food was great. The style was everyday Japanese. We both had Teryaki. The service was relaxed but attentive. Teriyaki house is an unpretentious gem. A rarity worth checking out.

Ordered online and it said 45min wait. No problem, ended up being 50-55min till I got there. Had to wait another 20min standing around until the food was done. Wasn't even a large order, had gotten 3 meals. Didnt even look super busy. Maybe they had someone out sick but no apology on the wait. Got home and all of the food was very dry. The ramen wasn't even ramen, I did not even attempt to eat it. 10 outa 10 times would not recommend. Also made us not feel well afterwords. I have no idea how people are reviewing this place so well.

The first time I ordered from teriyaki house the food was great. I especially liked the sweet and sour chicken. Unfortunately, after telling my wife about how good it was we both ordered the sweet and sour chicken. Both orders were over cooked, on the verge of burnt. I was very disappointed. I can’t say I’ll be going back. 50/50 is not good. My wife says very little pineapple and no onions.

One of the guys wanted to try this one. We all ate in and it was freaking delicious. They give you more than enough to fill your belly and maybe enough for a friend. To be fair I was the only to have their sushi and it was decent as well. Sadly no adult beverages but don’t let sway you. Dining area is really small with enough for maybe 15 people.

The food at this place is really flavourful! I have had a lot of sushi around this area and this is definitely the most tasty! The sushi was really fresh and their steak teriyaki was better than I have had at Hibachi! My go to here is the shrimp lo mein, the fried noodles are to die for! It's a recommended place to go if you miss Japanese tempura or Japanese food and Chinese food!

In that day, I got mushroom clear soup, vegetable fried rice, and my partner had seafood udon, which comes with tempura, and they have better deals if you come during lunch. I like it because they provide alternative vegetarian options and you can eat Tempura here, which I missed in LA.

P.s. : Because they don't provide chopsticks, chili oil, or small bowls on the table, you can ask the person serving you there to give them to you. And they have a limited drinks menu, mostly cans / bottled drink so I ended up ordered just ice and water.

First time trying this place and will definitely be back! The lady that took our order was so kind and pleasant, all smiles. We did the fried shumai as an appetizer and was not disappointed! Service was quick but you’ll know why. Food is overpriced for the quality you get. We ordered dinner. Orange chicken and general Taos chicken, crab rangoons and some pork pot stickers. The chicken dishes were soggy, not like they were wok cooked in oil at all. I truly believe the meals were reheated In The microwave. The sauces taste store bought. The pit stickers were ice cold, which is odd because the order was being bagged when I arrived. The Rangoons were decent but the amount of filling you get, for sure, doesn’t constitute the price. They were also cold. So for 2 people to eat, right around 50 dollars and that’s picking it up. You would get the same quality of food from the grocery store in the frozen food section.

Teriyaki House is truly an exceptional restaurant. I have been eating here frequently since they opened but stopped once I got a celiac disease diagnosis. I was very wary eating out since needing to be cautious was my new normal. I decided based on my past positive experiences to take a chance and just call and ask if they had any knowledge about making their food gluten free.
I am so overjoyed to say the staff of Teriyaki House are incredibly knowledgeable about what ingredients in their dishes contain gluten and how they could adapt the recipe to allow me to safely enjoy it! I'm so grateful to the staff for allowing me to add another safe place to eat delicious food!
On top of being knowledgeable of allergies and dietary restrictions, I've had nothing but positive experiences interacting with the staff. The food is always made with fresh ingredients and the taste and flavors are spot on. I can't recommend teriyaki house enough! Thank you Karen! 💗

Stopped in for a quick dinner with my wife, for our first time dining in. It's a smaller place, but if there are tables available you'll be waited on by the very attentive staff. I'll state the interior is basic but pleasant to enjoy a meal - if you're looking for something more than that you may want to go with takeout or delivery.

To start we ordered the Crab Rangoon - delicious as usual. For our meals we had General Tso chicken with fried rice and Mongolian Beef with lo mein. I ordered my entree spicy and it did not disappoint, very well balanced with the heat I was looking for.

One downside of this experience, and this may have been a miscommunication by me as well, was that my wife's entree was also prepared extra spicy - but she hadn't requested it this way. Again, it could have been poorly worded request on my end when ordering. We didn't make a fuss about it as it was near closing time and the staff were busy wrapping up for the night.

Judging by the rest of the service, I'd bet that the staff would have taken steps to remedy the mistake if we'd spoken up.

Still, I would consider this a 5-star establishment even with this slight error.

We've ordered delivery a couple of times and the food has always been great, even after a car ride to our doorstep. This is our new go-to for sushi and Chinese food. Highly recommend!

Tried for the first time today— lunch specials are a great deal. We got a salmon teriyaki lunch special (pictured) with miso soup and a 3 roll lunch sushi combo with salad. The teriyaki is light, not too sweet, and the dish had lots of fresh veggies. The only thing we would have changed would have been the salad dressing— usually we would expect a more traditional ginger dressing but this seemed more like a dairy based ranch or yogurt type dressing. Miso soup hit the spot, so we would get that as our side choice again in the future.

I actually had my birthday party here. It was fantastic. Everyone had great food and all around were happy. I've had both the seafood ramen and seafood soup from them and loved both. The ramen is slightly better but I'd happily eat either again.

Well, the secret is out.. this is by far my favorite place to get sushi and sashimi. The chef prepared our food in front of the fresh ingredients we would receive, and I have nothing but high praises. My impression? They are well run restaurant with the highest quality and attention to detail. I've already visited them numerous times and have not been disappointed. Fish not your style? Well, my girlfriend loves their spring rolls and the teriyaki options while I go crazy over the delicious fish.

Great family-owned restaurant! You get tasty food and caring service. Our favorites are their Miami and shrimp tempura sushi rolls and their Singapore rice noodles. There a tons of options to choose from, so we will be back to keep trying all the great food.

I hope this place improves because it's new. Unfortunately our teriyaki chicken was over cooked and the fried rice flavorless. Sushi was okay but it all was overpriced for the quality.

Do yourself a favor and visit Teriyaki House! The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about you and are super friendly. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best sushi we had while! Highly recommend! Definitely going back! 🍣
